i actually really liked that SJ13 took the knee. No flash, no show. He seemed truly happy with the win, himself, and his team. Cant wait for the pressers

At this rate he will be HC of the Bills after the bye.
its not awful coaching by marrone there are some things that are better about this team this year. the same we blame marrone for hackett, we need to give him credit for pettine. that said, i would rather see the same style play on defense on offense. harbaugh-esk. i hope we dont see him leave after a season. id like to see him as hc---by no means am i calling for marrones head

Gotta call better long yardage plays, otherwise every penalty will kill a drive.
also have to let your qb get into a rhythm so he can make those passes. things where better in the 2nd quarter with letting EJ lose a little bit. also effing spread the field at least every once in a while

we have so much speed on the field, but you cant do a thing with it without getting it in space. close quarters does nothing

I hate our offense. I am ok with the no huddle, but we need to be spreading the field a little more. it opens up so many passing and running lanes. we also need to let manuel get into a groove rather than run run run run go route cross your fingers. not only cant he get into a rhythm but these are low percentage throws. not sure if this is hackett or marrone

There are 2 spots where the pats could get on a 2-4 game skid. Granted they almost never lose 2 in a row. They could easily drop Atlanta, Cinci, and NO all in a row. Also Steelers, Panthers, Broncos, Texans is a possibility. Steelers and Panthers should be close games. We will need them to slide through one of these two sections to have any chance at all.

Lets look at the rest of their schedule. Not many definite losses with Brady behind center, but there are some definite wins I think, plus a bunch of toss ups. My guess as of now. Right now I think you can book about 6 more wins more or less in the bag giving them most likely at least 8 for the season. The get 3 games I think are a toss up and the division will rely on those IMHO. That and the Bills game at the end of the year. I marked it as a loss, but it depends on our momentum

Geno JP Losman should have eight interceptions. He has no pocket presence. He doesn't seem to see his 2nd or 3rd progression. He makes questionable decisions under any stress. But he throws a really nice ball every seven passes.

The eagles are doing a much better job of getting ther ball to players in space. We didn't seem to have much of that. We could have used some well planned screens

Isn't their a clause where the Franchise Tag mandates two first round picks, or has that passed? Not sure. I thought maybe you could sign him to a long term deal then trade him, but we aren't allowed to do that now that the date has passed. Can somebody help me clear this up

With Byrd requesting a trade, having no CB's on the roster, and basically only having 4 offensive linemen on the roster, I think DL will be cool for a minute. No DL drafted where we would take him (4th or later) will outplay either of those two guys

Brooks is super physical, expect to see the DB's press a little more at the line. Marrone has also been mentioning it a lot in his pressers. This could be ok. Our pass rush is decent, we might be ok.

Considering Amendola's style of play McKelvin on him may not be a bad choice. Quick guy with quick moves. McKelvin to me is good at sticking with a guy in close quarters. it is the deep routes he loses the ball.
Brooks has a lot of talent but he gets lost at times.
I don't think McKelvin ever really gets list out there. In fact the guy can flat out cover. Sticks in a guys pocket for a mile if need be. The issue is he never can actually get a hand on the ball.
Brooks issue is he is almost too physical. You're right he gets lost at times. He also makes recievers wish they never caught the ball. Dude can hit!
