  1. LOL. The guy was surprisingly quick for a big man. He would be on par with what we currently have.
  2. Oh I agree with you on this. Just correcting the poster who stated OU hasn't won a bowl game in 10 years. All in all Stoops has done a helluva job at OU. I'd love to see him coach in the pros as I'm certain he would be a success. Perhaps one day he can be lured to Buffalo. We can only hope. LOL. Enjoy your day.
  3. Really??!! Huh, I could have sworn that OU's win last year over Stanford in the Sun Bowl would be classified as a "Bowl Game" win.
  4. That would be sound advice to them. LOL. Make it a great day. Huh??? Sorry guy, you are way out there on this one. I'm just here to talk ball. I'll leave the kooky conspiracy theories to you. Oh, BTW, welcome to my ignore list. LOL.
  5. I believe all the judges in Harrisonburg Va are male....hmmm...
  6. LOL. Do you really form opinions on potential QBs based on one meaningless half of a preseason game???????!!! No doubt you believe that Trent Edwards, an all pro in preseason (while a complete bust when the games count), is a future HOFer. LOL. Not sure the reason for your personal attack, but I am certain that it is against forum rules. Button it please.
  7. I hope you are wrong, because Bomar would be an instant upgrade over our lackluster QB corp.
  8. I say, why not? Our QBs are horrid and would not start on any other team in the NFL according to the outcome of a poll I ran on this board. Bomar was awesome back at OU. Had he played there throughout college we may very well never heard of Sam Bradford. Bomar could be that diamond in the rough. One thing is for certain - none of our QBs has proven jack and offer us nothing more than subpar results. Good thought Dr. Z, I'm willing to give this kid a good look see.
  9. Thanks buddy! Looks like you is a "newbie" around these parts just like myself. Good for you, better for this forum. LOL. Make it a great day Dr. Z!
  10. Well WEO, after week 4 or so, our guys will be living in bad weather. They will adapt which will give us an advantage.
  11. Who is saying it should be a dome stadium??? Not me. Retractable roof yes, with the understanding it is always open for home games no matter the weather. Son, I have no plans on retiring.
  12. No reason for name calling. I believe it is against forum rules. Putting a great stadium by one of the 7 wonders is a brilliant idea. It could be designed in such a way that would satisfy you tree hugger types. LOL. I say bull doze downtown NF and build the darn thing. Put in all the modern day goodies that you young types love - big screen scoreboard, loud music blaring, etc. Remember guy, a mind is like a parachute, to work properly it must be open.
  13. Wha??? How the in the sam heck would a state of the art stadium next to the falls ruin it? Compared to the sewer of a downtown area that the present NF (USA) is, the stadium would be a crown jewel. Putting the stadium next to the falls is a brilliant idea.
  14. I'm going to reserve judgment on Mr. Edwards until the games really count. He has been a preseason wonder before, only to turn into a regular season bust. Sadly we have, arguably, the worst QB corp in the league.
  15. Fantastic thought! There is no reason not to take full advantage of such a wonderful backdrop which would attract folks from around the world. We would be the envy of the league. Fact.
  16. Edwards guarantees us nothing but yet more dissapointment. I am so sick of our horrid QB situation I could puke.
  17. Thanks guy. Niagara Falls is a natural draw. We show exploit the opportunity and at the same time help revitalize the entire area. I respectfully disagree my friend. You "fix" the decaying Niagara side and the whole region, including Buffalo, begin to revitalize. Why you say? The falls is a 7th wonder yet the Niagara side is a slum. The tourist drive right through it and Buffalo. Give them a reason to stop and spend their buckeros. The stadium I vision is a multi purpose type with a retractable roof and is a grand as the falls.
  18. LOL. Yeah, ole Fitz has "tour it up" in the NFL. LOL. He was so great that we "stole" him up for a mere two goats and chicken. LOL. Get real guy.
  19. We can't afford not to build it guy. The Ralph is antiquated. The new stadium would be multi use facility. The draw would be fantastic, provided we built it right on the edge of the falls as I have suggested.
  20. Couldn't agree with you more Doctor Z. It is long overdue to make the change to our classic uniforms. This is a great and timely post.
  21. My thoughts regarding our stadium situation is to build a state of the art complex on the American side of the mighty Niagara Falls. The era of the Ralph is quickly coming to an end. It's been a heckuva ride, but change is not necessarily a bad thing. Butt it up next to the falls, give it a retractable roof, with the understanding it stays open for all Bills' games. It would be a wonderful venue in a popular setting, instantly giving the wonderful Niagara area a much needed shot in the arm. Thoughts?
  22. Just calling em like I see em guys. You can continue putting lipstick on a pig if it blows your skirt up. LOL. Make it a great day!
