OLine last year was good. We were a top rushing offense. So the coaching staff turns over this offseason and we have what is here now.

He has it. In terms of how much is debated but he does have it just doesnt ever audible
Thanks for the info. Happy Veterans Day and thanks for your service.

Tt is allowed to audible it has been said a couple times this year by both TT and Dennison
I suppose I stand corrected. I thought there were discussions about this several weeks ago and the conclusion was he didn't have that kind of latitude.

Yep. The 3rd and one Pitch was a kill call. Clearly heard the kill kill
Wow, if that's true, Tyrod has multiple reasons to be pissed about today. Surprised he allowed Peterman to do this, but it was also garbage time so not a lot to lose if he effed up.

But yet Petterman did. So which is it?
You sure? I don't recall that.

My understanding is Tyrod is not allowed to audible.
I thought I remember when Dennison was with Denver and Payton Manning was the QB, it was a point of contention between the two of them. But since Payton Manning is who he is, Payton was able to audible, but did not call his own plays like he did in past seasons pre-Dennison.

Points 4 and 5. Wouldn't hang all of this on the defense. But the tackling is concerning. Agree Frazier needs to get more aggressive getting after the QB; no pressure which makes a near impossible job playing DB even harder.
Offense is a disaster; a major change is necessary, starting with the offensive coaching.
If McD doesn't put some heat on the team and coaches, it will reflect poorly on him.

How is it not mostly Dennison's fault? He took over an offense with the top rushing attack in consecutive years, and (with the same personnel) has dropped it to 14th?
His playcalling is suspect at best. How many times do we need to run Tolbert up the gut into a stacked box before he can admit that's a bad idea? Or throws to Tolbert in the flat? Pretty much any play featuring Tolbert is a bad idea.
Teams have been stacking the box against TT since 2015 and our previous coordinators found ways to run the ball effectively.
This^^^ Why has Tyrod's production, Shady's production, and the OLine dropped off so much from last season if Dennison's scheme is not the problem? Scoring points was not a problem last year, we were a top 5 scoring offense.

Or maybe opposing coaches realized all u have to do is stop mccoy, keep tyrod in the pocket and hes pretty much useless unless the defense gets 3 or 4 turnovers to bail him out
Agree. I think this can be attributed to the OLine being dominated. If the OLine wins their battles, containing Shady and keeping Tyrod in the pocket is easier said than done. At any rate, I do think it is known that this team cannot consistently come back from a deficit greater than 10 points. Anything more than that, game's over.

If a rookie QB was starting, the Saints would've definitely amped up their pass rush with blitzing.
Sad thing is, that would have worked against Tyrod today, just like the Jets game. But NO didn't even need to do that.

There is no tank occurring. Just a second poor showing.

Man, what could have been with Woods, Watkins, Goodwin and Clay if there only would have been a real QB throwing them the ball. SMH
If Woods, Watkins, and Goodwin were still here, do you think they'd be seeing the type of production they're seeing now? We just got Benjamin and did not incorporate him in the game plan today.
-
Rams are making Woods look like a WR1. I always thought he was solid, but not this good.

Hate to break it to you, but Nathan Peterman is in no way, shape, or form the Bills qb of the future. That person will likely be drafted early in next year’s draft. Peterman is basically tj yates/case keenum - below average athletes who can manage games when the starter goes down. All draftedd in the fifth round.
It's funny, everyone is piling on Tyrod (though he had a very bad game today) and calling for Peterman. What should be getting attention is the offensive game plans and OLine scheme. Not just this game, but Cincy, Carolina, and Jets games. Look at Shady's performance this year...it's a fraction of his production this time last year and he's still getting the most touches of anyone.

Not for long. Once you start answering those questions it's only a matter of time.
The questions McD should be answering is why is the offense so inept; and it is more than just this game. IMO, the offense is responsible for the Carolina and Cincy losses.
Also, why the poor tackling and getting gashed by the RBs the last two games.

For one more week. The Chargers tried every possible way to lose today (finally succeeding), but they are clearly a better team than us right now. We would've lost to the Jags by 20.
We'll soon see if the Chargers are better than us. I doubt your assertion regarding the Jags.

Or everyone has the book on the guy.
He has looked awful the last 2 weeks.
Agree, Tyrod was not very good today. Against the Jets, he's lucky to be alive; Tyrod barely had time to get the snap.

Is it speculation that TT played like crap for 3.5 QTRS? = NO
Is is speculation that Peterman made quick decisive throws to WR's down the field? = NO
I feel damn confident Peterman would have lead our team to more than 3 pts in 3.5 QTRs as he did in 2 mins.
I'll indulge you and say you're right. But it is still a moot point, a QB change will not be made at 5-4 and in the thick of a playoff hunt.

Peterman's performance during garbage time has nothing to do with it ... but A LOT can be read into TT's performance during the first 3.5 quarters ... 9/18 ... 56 yards ... 3 points.
just sayin'
I highly doubt that coaches make personnel decisions based on garbage time performance. Just like opposing teams with not scheme based on garbage time.
I will agree that TT holds onto the ball a little too long and does not trust the receiver and route. But how would have NO schemed against Peterman if he got the start? Could have been an even worse outcome. Either way, McD is not going to start Peterman at this point because he is a rookie and we are still in the hunt for a playoff spot.

Guarantee with the amount of time TT had today Peterman puts up more than 3 pts on O.
Speculation. No one can accurately say how Peterman would have done if he started or if the outcome would have been any different.

I think the scheme is only horrendous because Taylor makes it that way. He's not supposed to hold onto the ball for 3 or 4 seconds. Peterman gets the ball out alot quicker. Get the pass game going and you open things up for shady. Is it really a coincidence that Peterman comes in and puts up 80 yards in 3 mins?
During garbage time, when NO was nursing a 34 point, I wouldn't read too much into Peterman's performance. Could be completely different if Peterman started from minute 1 in the first quarter.

Definitely not coaching. McDermott is still fine with me. His defense definitely needs to step up, but we've had 3 years of Tyrod and we've seen what he is
Sorry, should have been more specific. I was thinking offensive coaching. The scheme has been horrendous.

Did not see the TT post game, but can imagine he's not happy. What type of change do you have a feeling about...QB or coaching?

in 8 games played 24 tackles and 4 sacks under a moronic 3-4 scheme that sucked.
Why look at last year look at WHAT happened the last 2 games!
Look what happened in both the Miami games last season - Ajaye torched us for about two hundred yards each game with Darius starting.

Still early, but this game is starting to get away from Denver. Can't give Pats* points by fumbling a kickoff. Osweiler doesn't strike me as the kind of QB that can come back from a deficit.
