It's not just the Patriots, think back to 2015 and the Steelers/Bengals game in the playoffs. During a scrum on the field a Steelers assistant coach was right on the field in the middle of things agitating the Bengals yet when all was said and done, no call against the Steelers, but rather a chip shot fieldgoal to win the game. The year before that the non PI call with Dallas and Detroit in the playoffs. During that mess Dez Bryant came off the bench onto the field and got into it yet no call against Dallas. The following week Bryant was robbed of what looked like a good catch in Greenbay. At the time I didn't care because I thought it was karma but I'm really starting to lose it for the NFL. The amount of flags and idiotic reviews is killing the sheer emotion of watching any game.

Take away Gronk coupled with the loss of Edelman and they look quite ordinary on offense. It helps if you get a lead on them as well.

No way Marangi was a better QB than Ferguson. He was a bigger guy and may have had a slightly better arm, but he started the backend of the '76 season after Fergy got hurt and was terrible. Granted the team was on a downslide at that point, but he did nothing to make any fans believe he was a better QB.

I listen to their sister station WBEN sometimes. I heard that there was an electrical fire over the weekend in the studios and that some equipment may have been damaged and it's causing all the glitches.

Willie Beaman never won anything, except a playoff game, Cap Rooney had the rings. Would take Cap in his prime over Steamin' Willie at this point.

He was on WGR for a year or so in the early 90s around '91-'92. Used to listen to him after Sabres' games when they first got LaFontaine. Never followed his career much after that. shame that he screwed up like this.

To the OP:
You're looking at the US model (GFS) which isn't all that reliable that far out and is run every 6 hours with those model runs constantly changing. The European model (which is better but not perfect) has it possibly recurving northward and away from the US. Irma has taken a slight southwest dip which makes early trajectory forecasts difficult at this time. Most of my friends in the weather community think we're a good 24-48 hours away from really knowing what will happen with Irma and until that time frame passes most model guidance is essentially computer generated speculation. Case in point, if the cold shot of air we're supposed get midweek here in the northeast is timed right it may be enough to keep Irma from hitting the coast. If the timing is off, Irma could hit the coast, but we still won't know where for a few days.

A good friend down there used to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch Bills games. He said there was always a good share of Bills people there. Browns fans don't really have a problem with us, they mainly hate Steelers' fans.....just like we hate on the Pats and their arrogant fans.

I'm just grateful we didn't have flat screen TVs back then. My first instinct was to throw my TV off the deck when that happened, but lucky for me it was too big and too heavy! That game had me angry for days. Even the NFL admitted that refs should not be in a position to decide games like that. I've been watching football for over 40s and that's still the ONLY time I've ever seen PI called on a hail Mary.......thanks for ruining my day with this topic.

Not to let Kevin Kill Drive off the hook for the Houston game but that team was never built to take time off the clock. They didn't even have a tight end on the roster back then! That being said the Bills still ran far more running plays than Houston even when they were way behind. That tells you something about play calling. The only time Gilbride ever seemed to be solid on play calling was when his HC was Tom Coughlin who kept him on a leash and stayed true to their ground game when they needed it.

Anyone know who the agents are for these new hires? Both Rex & St. Doug were Jimmy Sexton and it wouldn't surprise me if Sexton was the main source of leaks. Just sayin'........

Buffalo really isn't as small as the market research shows. Keep in mind that TV ratings are only based on the population area as it sits in the continental US. They purposely exclude Canada because it's another country. If you factor in southern Ontario areas like Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, etc. Buffalo is top 25 market. Canadians watch our TV, shop in our malls, and more importantly support our sports teams. But the TV ratings ignore that and we get the small market tab. Imagine how Boston would shrink if they excluded everything on one side of the Charles River.

Drafting a WR #1 can have bad ramifications. Just ask Matt Millen when he was Detroit's GM. He passed on DeMarcus Ware to grab Mike Williams who proceeded to east himself out of the NFL. He went against his scouting dept. and coach to make that pick. For the record, Jerry Rice, Andre Reed, John Stallworth were not #1 picks and did just fine in the NFL.

Grigson also traded away a number 1 to Cleveland for Trent Richardson who busted big time for Indy. Not a good GM IMHO.
