I’ve got buddies from downstate who usually make it up for the Giants game. Keeping an eye out for rumors on when that one will be scheduled…anyone else hear anything yet on NYG?

It’s all a distraction. The real story? We’re finally acquiring John Skelton.

The whole national media is slobbering over the Jags performance, saying their fans should feel confident with Lawrence and Pederson as the future. Maybe I watched a different game because I wasn't particularly impressed with either of them. Looks like the same old Jags to me.
They went from worst record in the league to a playoff win. Steel Curtain they ain’t, but it’s objectively a nice story. -
Looks like some of the Jags resiliency has carried over from last week.

Hypothetically could McDaniel lie about tua being out?
If there is a coach that would do this not caring about consequences it's him
There are plenty of sneaky snakes among the NFL head coaching ranks (what up Bill B). I’m sure if someone thought it could be done, long ago they would’ve tried the “yeah, so and so is ruled out…..PSYCH!” thing already. -
The Fish won the conference in week three, remember? The rest of us are just pretenders.

The caveat is that WE HAVE NO IDEA what is going on in the hospital and all of these little leaks are becoming unhelpful.
Yeah, all the updates from family members and sports journos, while all well intentioned, are not super helpful. I work with docs all the time and these things are incredibly nuanced and have to be explained and couched in very precise terms. I give credit to Damar’s buddy/marketing rep who gave an interview to espn yesterday, he made it very clear he’s far from an expert and couldn’t answer medical questions, he could only talk about the family’s state of mind. -

He is just one of those guys you expect will be back on the Bills on a veteran minimum contract to end his career
Back when the Vikes acquired Harry, I told a Vikes fan buddy of mine they got themselves a real one with that dude. This morning, same guy texted me that bit of news and said I was definitely right.- 1

Tomlin is a great person by all accounts. I was listening to a former play - didn’t catch the name - and they said back in their playing days he BEGGED Tomlin to let him play after an injury. Even brought in doctors and so forth to convince Tomlin. After a bit, he kicked everyone out of the room except the player and told him “if you were my child, I wouldn’t let you play” and that was that. He cares about his players.
Certain things about Tomlin and McDermott’s leadership styles seem pretty similar. Must be something they picked up from the football program at William & Mary.- 2

Thanks for posting this Yolo. Do we know if the medical team that helped Hamlin was Bills staff or a mix of Bills and stadium?
From what little we saw on TV, it sure looked like an all hands on deck situation.- 1

Seems that he's stabilized now, but may have suffered brain injury due to cardiac arrest or hypotension.
That’s my big worry. I know he’s in the induced coma to give his heart and brain a chance to recover. But how is his brain gonna be after needing CPR for nine minutes?
I normally can’t stand Mike Schopp but he kicked his show off today saying maybe we all changed a little bit after witnessing that last night. I think he nailed it. I’m having a hard time giving a ***** about week 18 or the playoffs right now.

You could hear the love from the crowd as our guys ran off. Mad respect for Cincy and their fans.

Oh, the lamentations of the mediocre. The whole world is against us, it’s definitely not our noodle armed QB with a fractured brain and two receivers who are only good at the same thing.

where does this dude live? 2 feet of snow to Buffalo people is like a dollar to a millionaire.
Sal Maiorana is an ancient Italian term roughly translating to “Jerry Sullivan.” Best to be ignored.- 5

I am a big fan of the individuals offering parking on their lawns on the south side of 20A, just east of the stadium. It's very easy to get out - just a right turn onto 20A and there aren't a ton of lights. East of Orchard Park, you can then link up to a number of options that will take you north to the Thruway.
This is what we usually do as well, and we come from Rochester like the OP. The game changer was when they made 20A one-way postgame a few years ago. In better weather/daylight we’ll take 20A as far as Geneseo (and it’s a gorgeous drive).
But there’s a ton of options to hang a louie off 20A and head north to the thruway. The 219, N. Buffalo St, Transit, 77, you can go as far east as your comfort level and drivetrain will take you.

I do love the field they have down there, guessing it's similar to what we will be getting in a few years... so I've heard anyways.
We’re going to get a natural grass field wheeled in and out on a giant tray? -

7 sacks in 10 starts this season. His length is disruptive. You cant get into his radius and come out ok. He seems to have a really good head on his shoulders. Has said he keeps learning from Von. I wonder how many sacks Von has added by just training with our line? My guess would be at least 5.
Groot looks like he will become a force
There’s no question Von’s injury takes a major asset off the field, but it’s pretty clear just having him around will stillbe of some genuine benefit.

Why exactly does Tua warrant all the ballwashing from Collinsworth? Consolation prize for having his brain broken twice at the beginning of the season?

It makes sense NBC didn’t want the Fish on SNF two weekends in a row. Tua has already shown he’s good for some horrifying medical imagery that makes children scream and grown men weep. They don’t need that on their air twice in a week.

Think this might be it for Al. He feels checked out. But his color guy... he should be doing the 6th string CBS 6pm game abd considering himself lucky.
I love Al, but in Q1 once Herbstreet starting gushing about the Pats playing with a chip on their shoulder I switched over to the 96.5 broadcast here in ROC to sync up Murph and eWood instead.

I still wish Marrone, Hackett, and anybody else associated with that coaching staff had been fired into the sun.
