lol "get him"
He gets to pick from any team in the NFL.
There are 31 other teams.
It ain't gonna happen friends, and that is ok.

Well done OP - just absolutely terrible content.

Big surprise that this thread puked all over itself.
-
Let's hope he does. Only good things for the Bills if the Jets load up on crappy veterans.

<40 catches.
<600 yards.
Time to move on people. We goofed by trading for him. What's done is done. This new team looks kind of sweet, perhaps check them out.

KC needed some one that can peel the top off a defense for Mahomes.
Huh? KC has literally the best top-off-the-defense deep threat in the NFL in Tyreek Hill.

Sammy was 4th in the target pecking order in Las Angeles, behind the likes of Woods, Cooper Kupp, and Todd Gurley. And you think he's really going to command more targets than Kelce and Hill? At a certain point, people are going to have to finally accept that he isn't, was never, and will never be Julio Jones.

Yah no.
Should we throw out an offer to Tim Tebow too, while we're pining away for those cult favorites of yesteryear?

Andy Reid will use Sammy. He’s going to get 8-10 targets a game.
I dunno about that.
After Sammy was traded to the Rams, some vocal fans claimed that FINALLY he would go to a team that would use him appropriately and people were throwing around the 10 targets per game number.
He finished the year with around 4.
Last year, Travis Kelce averaged 7.5 targets per game, and Tyreek Hill averaged 6.5. But you think Sammy is going to see 10 per game in KC with a QB making his first NFL starts? Under please.

In your opinion. The market won't lie.

Has anyone watched him play be last two years? Very very poor. Has not made th pro bowl or all pro team in his whole career as well
You've watched him closely? Do you imagine that the Bills front office and personnel folks haven't gotten around yet to watching his film? Or, is it possible that perhaps they do not share your evaluation?

Yeah, market value is Snack gets 10 million a year, as he does, not Star who has not come close to 2013 rookie production.
You'll see when the comparables land (Richardson, Poe, Wilkerson).

Exactly why are we paying a middle tier DT FA to ten million per?
Market value.
-
Simple: If there is a quarterback that the front office determines is an elite prospect, you do what it takes to select them.
If not, pick some other prospects that you think are potentially elite.

This should win you an award of some sort. I've never seen a more asinine analogy in my entire life and I pray that you never procreate. Bless you, my son.
Sir, you literally asked if an employer took into account accolades received and past performance when setting compensation.

Do GMs actually take Pro Bowls into account? Are ticket/merch sales that much of a factor? Because being in the Pro Bowl doesn't necessarily mean a player is among the best at his position.
Does your boss at the car wash take into effect how many times you were employee of the month when doing your annual performance review? WTF is this?

Holy moley, there really is a ready-made supply of special needs posters ready to go in every thread.
It's too bad that the Bills didn't somehow sign Drew Brees so we could see the parade of deplorables show up to whine about how he's too short to be a successful NFL quarterback.

Kyle Williams re-ups for 1 year. How terrible is this signing based on ProFootballFocus? lol.

Guy on the internet has googled around a bit looking for evidence of a player's stoutness against the run. Assumes he knows better than people that have spent years working directly with the player, and a staff of people that devote their entire professional lives to evaluating NFL players. Adds up.

Putting in my official contract guess:
5 years, 55 million (11m AAV), 29m guaranteed.

No, I said you don't give guys who are named "space eater" because they can't make plays five-year contracts. Star has been bad against the run the last two seasons.
Maybe McDermott can revitalize his career.
This guy sounds like he knows a lot about football. Where can we sign up for more high-quality analysis?
-
Lots of people in this thread pouring over the interior d-line game film of the Carolina Panthers to provide their analysis. Impressive!
I'd expect the market value of this deal to be ~55m over the 5 years, with about half of it guaranteed. LOL at the "if its for 5-7 mil a year, I can swallow it" crowd. Ya'll probably need to brush up a bit on free agent market values before running wild with the hot takes.
-
Remember a while back when the Bills' front office would literally do nothing but sleep through free agency and the draft?
Obviously the proof will be in the pudding (though we got some decent playoff pudding in year 1), but at least this is an organization we can feel good about TRYING to get better.
-
Obviously an elite trade. Offloads a terrible contract from the previous regime, gets mid-second round value for a player with serious injury history who plays an extremely physically demanding position. And, most notably, a replacement is already in place that played the second half of his rookie year at a pro bowl level.
How many thumbs do we have? Six? Fine, six thumbs up.
