Nice to see the Bills mailed this game in along with their letters to Santa.
-
LaCanfora throws a lot of crap out there and his record of making it stick is not exactly Schefter-like.
However, with Rex around and a now 15 year playoff drought, negative drama seems to be the norm for this team.
-
And to think many were upset we traded him....
-
Wouldn't that mean 63% don't?
-
You think he was great today? Unsurprising.
I think was an efficient 11/21. He played well with the lead for almost the entire game, and wasn't asked to win the game with his arm. He also made a few throws that have not been a part of his game, working over the middle of the field at least 3 times in big spots, including the drop by Clay.
Still, he had his flaws, as he always does.
Bottom line: Probably his best game of the year, and in a huge spot. More good then bad today, which speaks to an excellent game plan by Roman, and an even better job by the offensive line who bullied Houston in the run game in the first half, which allowed Tyrod to be limited in his throws, and manage the game.
He was very fortunate that two pick-sixes were dropped, but he also endured two major mistakes by his receivers (Woods and Clay).
The book on Tyrod hasn't changed, and for the most part we saw the same guy we always see. We simply saw his best version of himself today.
I think you're crazy. Look at the league right now...we are getting above avg. QB play from a kid in his first season of starting. I haven't been this excited about a QB since the Doug Flutie days. Yes. I went there. Screw you, Rob Johnson.
-
I follow him on twitter. He allegedly watches no NFL and a lot of Modern Family.
-
How about ZERO?!?
Fantastic! Most disciplined game in that regard by far.
-
ZERO. I'll be shocked, SHOCKED I tell you if our Jerry gets called for any penalties tonight.
I hope your sarcastic remark comes true.
-
I have it set at 1.5.
-
i hate to say it but he's probably right. we lose Thurs and our season is done. even if we win, we will have to win again at home vs the Jets in the last game of the season. the Jets have a much easier road down the stretch. having EJ on this team killed our season. Thanks Whaley
Cassel has proven to be an adequate replacement.
-
Not a chance. There are more pressing needs, especially once the cap casualty axe swings. He has given life to a traditionally dormant offense. Give the kid time. He will be special.
-
Life's certainties: Death, taxes and a Stevie Johnson thread when he does something stupid.
-
No LeSean, no Sammy, no Karlos...big win. Also would shout out to Robert Woods who threw one tremendous block on TT'S TD.
-
So was shooting Fredo.
Yeah, but he was weak and stupid.
-
did you read the article? It doesn't matter whether he throws a lot, a little, has a good d, a good running game... It doesn't matter. He had those things in Houston and got benched. He's not good. Hes been on a million teams and its always the same. He might look ok now and then. That's not good enough.
Forget read the article....did you watch Fitz play? I still have Titans and Giants game nightmares. C'mon, man! Pickspatrick plain sucks and I am glad we face him twice this season.

1. Bills
2. Michigan football
3. Orioles
4. Lakers
5. Sabres (recent acquisition)
6. Saskatchewan Roughriders

What I really like is The Bills are taking swings and looking to hit a home run at the QB position.
Since we do not have a shot at a franchise QB, we need someone to protect the ball, convert third downs and win the field position battle. I don't care which of the three win the job...I just hope whoever does is able to protect the damn ball.
-
Love what we have done.
Hate the Jets got Bowles....I'd feel much better if they had Marrone.
-
Can't wait for 3000 yards and 21 TD's followed by everyone saying how great he is.
-
First they release their blocking TE , now their receiving TE. Unless they bring in Gronk or Graham not good.
I'm going out on a limb saying the GM who has orchestrated so much in the past few weeks is not suddenly become an idiot and leave us high and dry at TE.
-
As per Schefter.
-
Shady in a landslide. I can't imagine how anyone thinks differently, but the Legend of Kiko is alive and well.
-
hey !
thats hardly my thinking. why call me out?
I have said.
I truly think that Kiko could be a monster if the knee injury(s) are not a concern to the Bills. if they are not then good on them for getting value for a risk.
I am also not cool with the cost of a running back when we have no run game or running game players.
This seems indulgent to me. its alot of money for a team that has a bout 30 mill to play with.
Yes we need a RB. no question.
what is the beef?
: )
Sorry man, just tired of the dooooooomed crowd with every move we make. No beef here.
-
The bills placing a very, very high value on running backs is a franchise tradition going back to the 1960s. They've had 22 winning seasons in 55 seasons total.
Every post you've placed on this thread shows your football acumen, so you'll pardon me if I refrain from putting any credence to your nonsensical retort.
