  1. Even though it was only 10 years ago, bledsoe also played in a different time. Back then fitzpatrick numbers would be that of a top 6-8 qb. Now they are mediocre numbers at best. Look at John Elway or Jim Kellys numbers you would find a lot of qbs today are posting similar numbers but they dont tell the whole story. Fitz has a noodle arm and most importantly whenever he has the chance to win us a game he !@#$s up and either throws a pick or gets a turnover on downs.

  2. Well...Understood...But you can turn that point around by simply saying it was only a 3rd Round Pick...We Drafted TJ Graham instead of Russell Wilson...We did so even though our GM claims his height was not a deterrent whatsoever for The Bills...Furthermore, Buddy said they really liked Wilson a lot, enough to have him come to Buffalo prior to the Draft...He just valued the need for Graham more...That's right, he admitted it, Nix thought TJ Graham was a bigger need than Russell Wilson for The Bills...And this guy is supposedly one of the best talent evaluators in the NFL? Right...

No matter how you spin it, the excuses come up lame concerning Wilson and the Bills...They blew it...Sure a lot of other teams blew it too...But the Bills are all I give a crap about...If Wilson had been a 1st Round Pick I could understand the excuses...But he wasn't...And Buddy is clearly an old school scout who is in WAY over his head as a GM...He has little understanding of how to build a roster...And he was blinded by Fitz's few good games, and Gailey's love for his Harvard QB... B-)

Great post and its very true. The problem with most gms and coaches is they are more worried about their immediate future then the long term look of the franchise. Chan put all his chips on Fitz when there was no reason too and he is out of a job for it. I believe that we have a playoff caliber team but we are lacking the qb. Russell Wilson is an excellent (as a rookie) qb. No doubts about it, he tore us to shreds and continually tore other defenses to shreds too. More so he doesn't fret under pressure and crumble something that its a very rare trait.

I also disagree with the person who stated that he is a high risk because hes a running qb. He is a thrower first he almost always progresses through all of his reads before he thinks about tucking it and uses his legs to buy him out of situations. I would kill to have Wilson, Luck, or RGIII (assuming he can come back healthy which isnt certain).

Oh well atleast Tannehill is the worst out of the bunch.

  3. E. None of the above.

I don't even want to talk about free agents until Levitre and Byrd are signed. They are 2 out of the top 10 free agents available and they are actually good players. If either one walks, it's a really bad sign for this team.

The rest....draft well. Maybe keep a draft pick (Asper) instead of one of these "value" free agents they keep picking up.

+1 I couldnt agree more. I only see us resigning our own free agents and picking up a couple of minor mid level players, nothing crazy.

  4. That is not a "Value" list - that is a high priced, high priority type list. Getting McElvin as your kick returner and possible corner is a valued free agent proposition...not getting a Talib or a Flacco....

This is literally a list of the top priced F.A available. Flacco is going to command north of 13 mil probably much higher and you are acting like he would come in and groom a rookie. Even though we have 20 mil in cap we still have plenty of F.A to resign and still need between 8-10 mil for rookie signings. I dont see N.E letting Talib go. Flacco has no chance in hell and there never was any chance. Bowe will likely get over 10 mil a year even though he doesnt deserve it. Mike wallace wants to be paid like calvin so unless we can get one of these guys for a decent price thats also a no go. So basically unless one of these F.A all of which I forsee will command a hefty price tag would tag a discount to buffalo im all for it but there is no way.

    Go Bills.

  5. I wouldnt be furious with taking milner the problem is we have 3 positions as I see it and maybe 4 if levitre is unsigned that have to be fixed for next year. LB, WR, QB. DB is a problem but we can get by without it. I wouldnt mind trading down (like everyone else) if we could somehow grab an extra second or even 3rd we could grab maybe a hopkins at wideout or tyler wilson or vice versa. I still think you can get decent LB's in the 2nd to 3rd round as well as guards. Corners though you need to get early so if we have no other choice I could see Milner being the guy.

  6. Mike McCoy from Denver would be my guy for his ability to tailor two completely different offenses and make them work. I have heard many times over the years that zimmer is too crazy to be a head coach but makes a great defensive coordinator which is why he probably wont be the guy
