Will they take turns? BTW Greene sucks (have any of you watched him in NY?). I think Tenn. while making some good moves are wasting a bit of cash this year. I really can't see them advancing through the playoffs. Anybody with me on this?
As an everydown back greene does suck. He's the epitome of a backup. He proved it when he was paired with thomas jones his rookie year. For the role of a guy whos gonna come in short yardage you could do worse
-
Not many runningbacks or well anyone in athletics wants to share time. Regardless of the hyperbole you hear when it happens how "they get along" etc etc. If you're a competitor you don't want other players taking away opportunities from you. There is zero wrong with what Chris Johnson said
-
The safety zealots, and lawyers, will ruin are ruining this game.
Seriously don't understand the fans here who applaud this nonsense.
It really doesnt make sense. Runningbacks from pop warner on are taught to run low and make themselves small so they don't expose a big target to defenders. Some runningbacks initiate contact. Another physical aspect of the game being taken out. It's getting ridiculous

another rag armed smart qb? no thank you.
Yeah More Losmans and Jacksons lets fitz and holcombs and edwards

Last year i thought the Bills would finish between 8-8- 10-6. This year I think they'll finish between 0-16 3-13

Sam Bradford is a better example of a QB everyone thinks is god's gift to football but has done diddly squat except earn high draft picks for the Rams.
PTR
Agreed, but he did drastically improve last year from his first 2 seasons. Having a real NFL coach in Fischer might yet earn him that praise
-
He is type of guy that will learn whatever offense coach has installed quickly and is obviously a very intelligent guy and can be like a 2nd QB coach/ mentor for a younger kid.
Which is why I wanted the Bills to keep him. Would much rather have a young qb being mentored by Fitz than Tarvaris Jackson and Brad Smith
-
Fitz is significantly worse than Carson Palmer
"Significantly" The stats disagree In the last 3 years Fitz has 71 tds and 54ints. Palmer has 61 tds and 54 ints. Fitz has 10232 yards passing. Palmer 10741. 1515 attempts 914 completions 60% cmplt pct to palmer's 10741 yards 1479 attempts 906 completions. 61% completion pct. 263.7ypg for Palmer. 228ypg for Fitz. 6.7ypa for Fitz to 7.4 for Palmer. Palmers been sacked once every 21pass attempts Fitz once every 20. Fitz has 23 fumbles to Palmers 16. Palmer is better in some area's but hardly "significantly" better. I get it we all hate Fitz ad nausem but the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Fitz is also far more mobile than Palmer is.

Maybe it's just me but I found incredibly boring and about not even remotely funny.
agreed. I can get into these things if they sound like the guy, but it was a pretty bad impersonation.
-
I kinda wanted him too...and then I read this tweet which makes me think twice.
@profootballtalk League source on Bernard Pollard: "Three teams in how many years. Soon four. What does that tell you?"
Normally I'd agree. The Ravens seem to be in full house cleaning mode. Either trading or not re-signing key players. Handcuffed by Flacco perhaps?

David Nelson>Dustin Keller.....Ummmmm no Pete....Nelson had a knack for finding soft spots, but that is about it. Keller ( although he has had injuries), is a much better run after the catch player and oh yeah, he is a TE. Not a dominant blocker, but OK and he doesn't have to block much anyways.....he is a "move" TE who you look to create mismatches withl
Nelson was a slot receiver. Keller is a te. It would've been nice to keep Nelson and get Keller. That would be much more comforting then having no wr's and no te
-
Nice swipe at Tavaris on way out saying looking at the current roster there was no way he (Fitz) wasn't going to be the starter next year.
Well he's not really wrong. Tarvaris Jackson is awful
-
we only have 6 draft picks.....For Geno Smith? Meh
-
Tarvaris Jackson. He's an awful qb we'll all realize that soon enough
-
So we cut a bad qb and we're left with no qb's. Nothing really to celebrate starting from scratch. I'm indifferent towards this. Fitzpatrick was never gonna get us anywhere but neither is Tjax.
-
Edwards was playing with some confidence that game.
to me he was never the same after the hit in AZ, except for that one game vs San diego at the Ralph.
I had the same thought .
Losman had some skills. It might have worked , but sadly we will never know.
The SD game was after the az game. Edwards sucked because just like when he was in College he took too many hits and became gun shy. He had the most "potential" out of him and Losman. JP Losman should've never been a 1st rd pick. It was a panic move to get a qb. He was just awful hope and a prayer quarterback
-
Florence is streaky. He was great for 3 years, bad for a year, good for a year, etc.
I think we're getting him on a good year.
Reminds me of Eric moulds, who only played well in odd number years.
Eric Moulds was an elite wr without a quarterback. If Moulds had the likes of Bledsoe his entire career he'd be a hof wr. Drayton Florence was an ok corner at his best in his prime
-
For a stop gap....yeah sign him
-
Free agency begins tomorrow. The Jets priority should be _____________.
A new social media coordinator
LOL
The only funny one on that list. Otherwise they were pretty lame
-
ravens are gonna be regretting that flacco contract for a looong time
We'll see. Losing Boldin does hurt a possession offense, but they spread the ball around a bit between their wideouts/te and ray rice. This isn't the same Boldin that had 100 catch seasons in Arizona. Still a very good player, but not the be all end all
-
For a sixth round pick. the Bills should of moved on him!
Easy to say and yes we could use a wr like Boldin, but and this is just my own speculation. When it comes to trades of low return for veteran players, the player themselves have a lot of say in the kind of teams they're traded to.
-
For a 6th I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him. But its a lot to give up a higher pick for guy who can be a bit of a malcontent and is coming off a very off year.
He had a career high in receptions his yards and td's where down last year though
and he has terrible hands, but I'd be willing to take a flyer- he's 10.9 average per catch is a little bit of a worry for such a monster (chandler 13.3) and he's a bit of a bad apple, with Chandler out injured we have no tight end
How does a guy who's caught over 50 passes as a te 3 of the last 4 years have "Terrible hands"
The guy is talented, but always seems to be nicked and misses time. I'd rather target Bennett.
He's been healthy the last 2 years
-
A thousand times yes. Young and one of the most productive tight ends in the game. Speed to split the seems. The only downside is "he won't be cheap"
-
Let him test "the market". He'll find that there is no market and he will sign.
Disagree on him not having a "market". He's a good special teams player those kind of players always have value.

He's 12 that's just wrong. Kids nuts are barely dropped. This is one of those if true cases is just disgusting.
