  1. 2nd Round for sure!!! I wouldn't even be upset if they took him with the 1st! Think about what we have got in the past few years with our first pick(or both of our firsts). At least this guy has huge potential and hes a proven winner. we haven't had a QB since Flutie, and well he was still, just Flutie. Listen to him talk, watch him play, he is what we need. Of course, he could be bust in the NFL. But like I said, before, anyone you pick could be a bust, look at our last 10 years, at least this guy has the pride, size, talent, smarts and work ethic to succeed. Go get him buddy!
  2. WHO CARES!!!!? If he didn't want to come here, do we really want him? CHANge is coming my friends!
  3. I say we bring T.O. back........"UNDER THE RIGHT CIRCUMSTANCES"... -Only if we get a stonger player at the quarterback position. -He agrees to a deal that is more reasonable (i.e under 5 million) -He maintains his good behavior like he tried so very hard to do this season -He acts like he cares and does not give up on plays. I think all these things play into each other but overall it comes down to the QB play. If we get a decent QB in here that can throw the ball to our targets, I think T.O. could be an outstanding asset to this team and he'd be more likely to sign for less, he would actually care more about the team because we'd be competitive, and well as far as his behavior, your guess is as good as mine but I don't beliee his been that bad the last few years, it's just been the damn media.
  4. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true Jason La Canfora's Pre-Pre-season NFL Rankings for the 2010-2011 season states: "30. Buffalo Bills - I have a feeling the Bills will be last in AFC East for a long time. Like their old coaching staff more than the new one. Godspeed." Ouch. Not saying this guy's opinion is worth anything, but it does slightly hurt the optimistic attitude I'm currently riding. Now for all ya'll hollerin' and screamin' that I ain't got no reason to optimistic, they ain't don nothin yet. I simply reply, the Southern Comfort Ralph is pouring us sure is slowly winning me over...but we have't played a game yet...until then.. GO BILLS...and a big F U Jason La Canfora.
  5. http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/02/09/agent-stal...-for-wednesday/ Article does not state which team he is working out for. I'm not saying it is the Bills. I'm just curious to know what your feelings are about Donte Stallworth to Buffalo? T.O., or should I say Ocho Uno, is as good as gone. We don't have another proven WR behind Lee Evans other than Josh Reed (free agent). Donte Stallworth may come really cheap considering his numers weren't that great before his NFL departure, and hes been out of football for quite some time, and plus, he was in JAIL. Character doesn't seem like its our top priority anymore, so we may give him a chance. He's only 29. He could be a solid #2, and his skills will be put to the test during a workout. What do we think? PS: If it happened, I'm really hoping him and Marshawn could pool their money together and hire me a chauffeur, job markey sucks these days.
  6. Make him the Offensive Coordinator. As we all know, Chan Gailey will be calling the offensive plays, which is fine by me. With that being said, Chan the Man needs a coach who is "on the same page" with him as an offensive coordinator, someone who could tweak some things here and there and oversee the offense. No better than someone who has been successful around the league forever and has been to several Super Bowls...the new 2010 Buffalo Bills Offensive Coordinator Dan Reeves. Get a strong Defensive Coordinator (which I think is the most crucial move to make right now).......and I'd call that a helluva coaching staff. Go Bills!
  7. These guys are so pessimistic. They get so upset at the Bills for stupid media reasons. All as they kept talking about today was the fact that Buddy Nix said 80% of the stuff reported was false. They were so caught up on that because they felt it was a shot at the media...well good! I hope it was! The media is getting worse by the day. Who in there right mind would expect a franchise of any sort to come out and list guys that were interviewed for a job when they just hired a new coach? They attack the Bills like they are the only team doing this. If I'm a CEO of a company, and I'm announcing my new hire for a high ranking position, am I going to stand before the company employees and talk about who I interviewed???? It just doesn't happen. WGR550 was once my favorite station but I find myself turning it off more and more lately because they are just taking things too personal and being way too pessimistic. Howard and the morning crew are ok in my book but even they have been getting on my nerves lately. Schopp and the Bulldog are just a terrible combination and need to go!!!!
  8. Hairless Dick....Obvious that I mean Jauron with less hair!... I'm sorry that was terrible. Unfair and undeserved. Dick Jauron was a terrible coach. This guy is 0-0 as a Bills coach and he even has a winning record overall in his credentials....I don't think Jauron had that coming in? So until next time.... its CHAN THE MAN!!!!!!!!
  9. When Chan Gailey was first reported to be the new head coach, I was like WHAT THE F@#&^%&^%??????? I then finally got to a place where I was at peace with the decision was ready to back it up and start the season with Chan as our head coach. (with short patience). I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt because he's been successful when given the chance. ...and everything was fine and dandy for me in Bills land....until I go on the internet and read that my numer one choice for the job (even above Cowher), Marty Schottenheimer, wanted to be the Bills head coach badly and WAS TURNED DOWN BY THE BILLS. Now I'm back to square one. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. It's a shame we let him go. He is a great coach and a real stand up guy. I think he at least deserves an interview for the interim coach or the head coach position. I'm not saying he's qualified to be head coach just yet, but he was certainly more qualified than anyone else on that staff. I used to love watching videos on Buffalobills.com of Bobby April coaching his squad in the fieldhouse. He was so organized and passionate and his statistics show the rest. This letter in the Buffalo News was short and to the point, I can't see any other coach in the Bills organization past or present doing something like this, other than Marv ? WE'RE REALLY GOING TO MISS YOU BOBBY. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR QUEST TO BECOME A HEAD COACH!
  11. Speaking of PR... I bet Russ Branden and the gang will try to sell the fact that the Bills didn't really interview anybody else because they were sold on Leslie Frazier from day 1. This will try to prove that he was there guy from the start. Nice attempt at trying to cover up the fact that nobody wants to coach this team. If he does end up getting hired, I'm sure I'll be a sucker and eat it up. I just want the Bills to be successful in the worst way possible. Botttom line is I will stand behind Leslie Frazier just like I did the last few coaches, but my patience won't last very long!
  12. As soon as Jauron was fired, my #1 vote went to Marty Schottenheimer. My #2 was Bill Cowher. I would be ecstatic over the hiring of either of them, but it is not looking too promising. My new thought...Hire someone that WANTS to be here. We don't need a coach who is not 100% commited to turning this franchise around. We need a coach thats willing to put in the time and effort and really get their hands dirty here in Orchard Park. Bill Cowher does not want to be here. Although he has not come out and offically said NO to the Bills, his actions speak louder than words. He has not signed here yet even though it's obvious he is our number one choice and Ralph is willing to pay him the big bucks. I hate to say it, but we may have to roll the dice on another coordinator and hope for the best. I want a proven head coach as much as all of you, but the sad part is, nobody proven wants to put their legacy on the line taking a shaky position here in Buffalo. So F them all...get someone that wants to be here! All these reports coming out are just BS...I just want the Bills brass to hire a coach...one that is going to give it their all to get us to the promise land. PS: I'm a younger guy so I wasn't able to attend the early 90's games. I've been going to ALL the games the last few years thinking, "What an atmosphere, but could you imagine this place if we had a winning team?" IT WOULD BE CRAZY. I'm hoping the day comes soon. GO BILLS.
  13. My thought on the Cowher situation... He is a very close second on my list next to Martyball (also doesn't want to come here), and I would be thrilled to have him here. BUT...If the guy truly doesn't want to come here unless he's just overwhelmed by an amazingly lucrative offer, then move on and get someone that wants to dig down in the trenches and get their hands dirty fixing this team. The only type of person really willing to do that may only be an up and coming coordinator. Hate to say it, I just hope for the best. Go Bills.
