How come it seems every time we got 3rd and long trent gets sacked?

Yikes! That first series sucked on D. Lets see what our offense got.

We need another quality receiver, and plus we have LOTS of money to spend. Hes sitting right there for us.

Whenever expectations are lowest for a team, thats when they perform the best. Ill give you some examples.
The Toronto Argonauts of the CFL ( im from toronto) had 0 expectations for this year. They're currently tied for 1st.
The Toronto Blue Jays had no expectations. Theyre 63-55, a pretty decent record.
Dolphins of 08 had no expectaions. They went 11-5.
Its sports. Anything can happen. This goes for our Bills. You never know

I dont get it. 1 preseason game and everyone is already talking about how bad we'll be. This is getting ridiculous. Please tell me WHY we cant be a decent team this year? Because we dont have any QB's? And how are you guys juding it? Based on 1 preaseason game. Gimme a break. All the reports from training camp are good on Trent, and suddenly he has a few bad drives, and thats it, hes the worst QB in Bills history. And because of this game, we're going 0-16 this year, according to some on TBD. I guarantee you that if we were to light it up against washington, everyone would be talking about us going all the way. Please, lets smarten up TBD.

With all do respect, now is not the time. I am going to just concentrate on the next preseason game and hope there is a marketable improvement.

At least he sounds like HE GETS IT. He said what we all think here. We just made too many mistakes to be a good team. But at least you hear it for once, not the usual saying " Its hard to win in the NFL". Hopefully Chan can fix up some of our mistakes, and look at the bright side, there are still 3 more presseason games to go. That should be enough time for the team to get ready for our first REAL game. Keep the faith boys. GO BILLS!

And there is nothing we can do about it. Hes gonna be the starting quarterback. You may not like it, but its the reality. Does he suck? Yes. But if we look at the bright side, it he fails, we pick up a frachise Qb early in the draft, and if he succeeds, we are well on our way to the postseason.

I've been reading through the threads lately and all i see is " oh the bills will suck" or " Trent sucks" or " There is no hope".
Guys. Relax. It's the first preseason game for crying out loud. There are still 3 more preseason games to go. I guarantee that if we light it up in Toronto against Indy, everyone will be talking about us going unbeaten.
After watching this, here are some reasons on why we shouldntt panic just yet:
1. Our backups on D wont all be on the field during the regular season like today. I hope.
2. 3 o-line starters not playing.
3. Lynch and Jackson only played like half of the first quarter.
4. Edwards has nowhere to go but up after his performance today.
5. Our new coach might actually fix some of our mistakes
6. Steve Johnson looked pretty good, and will be the 2nd receiver
7. Poz, our best linebacker, didnt play.
8. There are still 3 more preseason games left to play
9. As my saying goes, in order to succeed, you must fail.
10. If Edwards can improve, and i think he will, the whole team will improve

Not to worried about the defense or the running game, but i gotta admit, the passing game looked terrible!

I like that type of optimism. While we are proven at running back, and Spiller is an excellent addition, until our offensive line becomes more consistent and have some type of throwing threat, I don't think our running game can compete with the likes of the Texans, Jaguars and Vikings etc. They have more balance which helps open up their run game.
Really, Texans have a run game?

I think our running game will be tops in the league this year, as well as our D. We got THE BEST TRIO IN THE LEAGUE IN THE BACKFIELD, as well as a great secondary, the d-line looks solid, and the linebackers are improved from last year. If all goes as i'm predicting, and we are tops in rushing and defense this season, as long as we have an average passing attack, we will make some noise in the AFC!

Looks like he might not even play for the jets this season. This is what happens when you go wild spending money on free agents like LT and Taylor. Im sure the problem is that they cant offer the amount of money that Revis wants, because they are OVERSPENDING. Maybe the Jets arent so mighty after all

I hate to say this, but the jets look REALLY scary coming into the season. Look at their receivers, Edwards, Cotchery, Holmes, and i read they're gonna sign Coles. WOW!!
. Although i do think that their RB's are overrated, and Mark Sanchez is a sophmore player. The Defense looks really solid, with the additions of Taylor and Cromatrite. These guys will be a tough team to beat.

The fate of this team for the upcoming season, and seasons to come, rests on the shoulders of the quarterback. Whomever he may be, we need solid play from this position to be succcesfull. If we get some good QB play, we WILL be a playoff team. Forget the LB's, DT's, DE's, WR's etc.. , the QB NEEDS TO STEP IT UP FOR US TO HAVE A CHANCE!

If we are going to succeed this year, we NEED guys to step up. Im talking the Edwards, the Maybins, the Hardys , the Johnsons and whoever is going to be our left tackle. If we can have some guys step up, which i believe IS VERY POSSIBLE through hard work, we willl have a successfull season. I think our D is solid, especially after the draft, so there is a heavy load on whoever the QB will be ( i think its edwards). Basically, if the QB can step up for us this year, i GUARANTEE you, WE WILL BE A PLAYOFF TEAM. GO BILLS!

according to espn preseaon power rankings, we're #28. Fine, but what i dont understand is last year, they ranked us as #21, where did we get worse? I think we only got BETTER this offseason, unless you consider the loss of T.O. a major blow to this team. This just shows the overall respect we get from the entire league and media.
