  1. that the bills will be " one of the worst in the league" or " awful to watch" or " horrible" etc.. I have read so many threads and comments that the bills will be horrible next year that it is actually starting to piss me off a little. If you have no optimism or passion, then please don't waste your time watching this team, and posting threads on a buffalo bills fansite.

  2. I am really sick and tired of all the negativity being posted on these threads. If you think the team will "suck" or be "untwatchable" then heck, no body is forcing you to watch them, or even be a fan for that matter. Every one knows that we do not have a good team in our hands, but how is posting threads about " we will suck in 2010" going to do anything about it? Please stop with all the negativity!

  3. It is incredibly stupid to make any predictions now, since it is before free agency and the draft, but it is not hard to predict the bills next season. Basically, it is a rebuild offseason, but i honestly like what we're doing so far. It looks like we have a GM that knows what he's doing and an offensive minded head coach. The next year is totally going to depend on what we can get done on our o-line, QB, and linebackers. If we fix these positions, we WILL BE legitimate contenders. I know we need a NT, but we may not get a good one right away. I say we draft Baluga first round, and a Qb second round. I wouldnt be surprised if Tebow fell to us, and i would wast no time taking him. We should also bring in a veteran Qb, and let TE, Tebow and the veteran battle for the job. As for the linebacker position, i would keep mitchell and Poz, and even probably give Maybin a shot at playing OLB. THats 3/4 linbackers, so we only need one more! We can easily get that one more linebacker via free agency, but im not so sure yet about the draft. If we fix our o-line, it will open up holes for our two good rb's and give our QB, more time to throw. If you look at our team, we may see mayhem, but the reality is the problems can be fixed with about 4 or 5 aquistions via draft or free agency. Don't push the panic button yet Bills Fans!

  4. Owens and Reed were informed that they were not coming back, so these are our receivers currently: Evans, Johnson, Hardy and parrish! Wow, we really need to sign a 2nd string receiver, not a stud, but a guy who'll give you 50-70 catches a year, and we really need evans and hardy to step up, beacause last year was a dissapointment for both players. Great, more holes to fill

  5. I know most of you are americans, and i would like to say congrats on your win against us. I am from Toronto lol, and very dissapointed of course, but u guys deserved it. Oh and btw, Miller is a beast, can he play football?? Anyways, congrats on your win.

  6. Honestly, I do not think this team will get any " worse ", simply because it doesnt look like we will lose any of our decent talent, and there is only up to go from here. I believe that the draft will tell a lot about next year. We must draft a playmaker that can be a solid starter from day 1. Here are my predictions for the offseason, and how i think the team will look next year:

    Offense

Well, what can i say. Our offense is horrible. I have no idea of who we're gonna draft for our 1st and 2nd round picks, but i can guarantee you that at least one of the picks will be an offensive player that will be a starter. I think we need to bring in a FA wide receiver, not a stud, but a guy that will give us 40-50 cathces a year to play on the other side of Lee Evans, and i would like to see what Hardy and Johnson can do. I like what Shawn Nelson brings, and i think he can be a decent tight end in this league. We are GREAT at the running back position, as we have 2 good backs, and yes, Marshawn will have a much better season, because he will have to prove to everyone that he can be the #1 guy. Now, our problems are with the O-line and QB. I think we will draft a tackle 1st or 2nd round, so we SHOULD be better in that category, especially if our guys stay healthy. As for our Qb situation, it is a total mess, but up for grabs. It will come down to whoever wants it the most. I want a QB taken in the 1st or 2nd round, than let the rookie fight for the job with Trent and Brohm. The person who is the better Qb in training camp will be the starter, and i am confident that our " offensive minded" head coahc than choose the right Qb and evaluate them properly. My proposed starters:

Qb: Im predicting probably a rookie or whoever we may get in Free Agency..

    Rb: Fred Jackson

    O-line: Lt: Rookie

    Lg: Wood

    C: Hangartner

    Rg: Levitre

Rt: FA or Butler ( still a question mark )

    Wr: Evans, FA

    Defense

I think the defense if NOT BAD, but there is plenty of room for improvement. Of course we are switching to the 3-4 defense, which can be very effective with the right players. Our main focus is probably getting a NT, and an OLB. I think Maybin will surprise us all and show us why he was a first round pick while starting at OLB. He has speed, and can use is playing OLB. As for our d-line, i think schobel will not retire and will start at the edge along with kyle williams. Stroud is aging and is not the force he once was. We need to get a nose tackle, but there are guys like Wilfork and Hampton hitting the market, so im praying we can pick up one of those guys. Our secondary is fine, and we have 3 good corners and Jairius Byrd at safety, but i think Whitner will get his last shot in Buffalo. Overall, i think we have to get 1 linebacker and a NT to be an overall good defense in this league. My prediction for the starters are:

    D-line: Schobel, Williams, FA

    Linebacker: Maybin, Mitchell, Poz, FA

Secondary: Whitner or Wilson, Byrd, Mckelvin, Mcgee

  7. People can laugh at our team, they can look at our team as "sh-t" but what they dont understand is the passion us fans have towards the team. We're not like cowboys fans or pats fans. We ALWAYS stick by our team. NO matter what..whether they are winning or losing. WE ARE THE BEST FANS IN THE NFL. And sooner or later the bills will be one of the best teams in the NFL, and we can all laugh at charles barkley while he gives all his money away to las vegas casinos..

    GO BILLS!

Well, i dont know the chances we have of getting McNabb, but it looks like the Bills are somewhat interested. What does this mean? I think they realize that we do not have any half decent qb's on the current roster, and i appreciate them for trying to get one, whether we land Mcnabb or not.

    Reasons I WOULD WANT MCNABB:

He is a proven leader and winner. He has been to a superbowl, and can make all the throws, plus he is mobile as well out of the pocket, and has proven that he can work with "no name" wide receivers. Also, we can worry about other needs such as O-line, NT, linebacker etc..

Reasons I WOULD NOT WANT MCNABB:

He is 33 years old, and we would have to give up some valuable picks for him. Also, i really believe teams find franchise Qb's through the draft, and i want a QB in the first or at least second round, which we probably wouldnt have if we trade for McNabb.

  9. Last thing we need is another unproven rookie QB. I would pass on all of the QB prospects and bring in a veteran. Shoot.. we already have an unproven Brohm.. I'd give him a shot before drafting a yet another rookie. I would spend all my draft picks on OL and LB's..

I agree, though we need a qb at some point in the draft. I wouldnt mind at all if we got a guy like mcnabb or pennington for a few years as a mentor, but we need a qb i'd say at least by the 2nd or 3rd round

  10. Well folks, it looks like chad gailey will be our new head coach. Before you all start raging out about how bad of a signing this is, lets give the guy a shot. Did you guys expect a bill cowher to come here?? i was totally expecting some kind of surprise at head coach, but hell, lets give the guy a chance. Im sure Buddy Nix knows more about football than any of us, and im sure that Gailey will be a huge step up from Jauron. Boys and Girls, only 9 more months! GO BILLS
