What a perfect outcome. Division win on the road, Josh didn't have to do much himself, just spread it around to everyone. Benching the starters in the 4th, no more injuries. Defense came up huge after getting trash-talked all week. Made it look easy, win the game and go home. What more could you ask for in week 2?

I give the D a lot of credit for their performance in the 4th quarter. They were getting stomped all game, but made two huge stops and a fumble in crunch time. Typically, defense is at a disadvantage late in the game because they’re more gassed than the offense. They showed a lot of heart on Sunday. It wasn’t always pretty, but when it mattered most it was beautiful.

They didn’t break on Sunday- this D is not getting nearly enough credit for their 4th quarter performance. Late game fatigue tends to favor the offense, and yet even after getting embarrassed for three quarters, this D forced two punts and a fumble to give Josh a chance. They bent a lot for three quarters but definitely did not break.

Bills D was simply overmatched at a majority of positions. Let’s be grateful that Ed had a huge game and the unit finally forced a three and out when it mattered most. Those two things were enough to give Josh a chance, AKA enough to win. And I’m certain the D will improve as the season progresses.

Easy, I turned the TV off after Henry’s last TD. In my defense, I was holding my wife’s family hostage in their home (no NBC at my house and they give zero Fs about the Bills). It was way past everyone’s bedtime and it was looking like Baltimore would hang 50 on us. So, YOU’RE WELCOME.

I think they treaded water, which is a not bad outcome for two rookies in a prime time opener vs. a top-3 team. And if all they did was make things easier for Ed Oliver, then they did great.

Much better that he didn’t. Pretty much guaranteed the W and yielded no last chance for Lamar.
Also - Keon got a lot of hype in the preseason. Everyone from Josh to Fitz was saying how much he had improved and how impressive he looked. It’s really nice to see him live up to it right out of the gate. He gave Josh an outlet and showed great hands, focus, and body control at the catch. Good for him, he should be proud!

It was also a smartly executed tackle. He sacrificed an extra half second to make sure he had the body position to deliver a take-down hit. He could have gone for the tackle a little sooner, but he probably would have whiffed or been stiff-armed into oblivion.

You can't really say one is better than the other, either way. They are both equally amazing, and I don't think it's fair to blame Lamar for the Ravens' failures. He did have that bonehead fumble in the snow last year, but other than that he has been phenomenal vs. Buffalo.

I think they're overall pretty good. No superstars, but they have three quality starters who showed they can make key plays in the clutch.
Let's also not forget about Kincaid, who made the big plays to keep the Bills alive in the first half, when nothing much else was working.
