  1. I always believe Super Bowl is a legit possibility with Allen at QB. But is this year any different/better?

Yes, because last season was looking to be a rebuilding year going in, and it turned out to be one of the better (regular) seasons in Bills history. This year, the team looks a lot stronger going in. If they are able to improve on the field as much as they appear to have on paper, it should be a very, very good season.

  2. Good depth at WR if he doesn't cost too much. Probably decent value due to underwhelming career numbers.

You have to believe he can be more productive with Allen throwing to him. Flacco is BY FAR the best QB he's ever had (though somewhat ironically, he had his worst season with Flacco...).  Plenty of speed; maybe he can return kicks, too?

  3. I like this better than signing some other middling CB who doesn't know the organization the way Tre does. He's also a great teammate, and in those ways he probably brings more value to the Bills than he would to any other team. I don't think it will prompt any change in Beane's draft choices, but hopefully it helps a lot with depth.

    Welcome back, Tre!

  4. I understand the sentiment, but Ty doesn't get enough touches to be in contention for Fred status. If he starts catching multiple deep balls per game, which seems to be his superpower, then you could make a case. But as long as James Cook is a Bill, Ty Johnson is probably not going to have enough opportunities to do Fred-like things to become a Fred-like figure in the hearts of the fans.

  5. I would never write off a player like Diggs, but this does seem like a lot of money for his age, and for what he has shown on the field lately. If he can play like he did his prime years in Buffalo, it will be a great pickup for NE. But can he still do it?

  6. I think the Bills have been most successful when Josh improvises: He can buy enough time for coverage to fall apart, and then he can throw a dart to anywhere, from any position. It's a huge advantage, albeit a very unpredictable one.

Unfortunately, he is not nearly as good at hitting the planned quick reads over and over again the way Brady did. If he ever figures that out, and I think he can, he could be the GOAT. He just needs to process the first two seconds of the play a lot faster.
