Another BDS response. Can MAGA ever find fault in their king, or will it forever be “Biden did it worse!?!?”
Biden was a disaster. Setting his actions as the bar to surpass for your deity is a tired approach.
Biden wasn’t a disaster …some totally lame stuff but some quality legislation. Meek on the world stage …but didn’t leave a total mess.
DT has created self inflicted damage that will a decade to repair…in 3 months. He’s got 45 more to go…And those hoping for a change in office? JDV is a complete fraud like DT ….with less skills

Except in Cali, NY, & DC where the tax rates are the highest in the nation !!
But what really amazes me is the state I live in Tenn.is among one of the lowest tax rates in the nation !!
This state is growing very fast with companies wanting to move here along with people and is growing by leaps and bounds and the states with the highest tax rates people are leaving in droves 🤔 HMM ??????
States can’t run deficits ….so tax policy is different than Federal.
The GOP has paid for FEDERAL tax cuts with debt since RR. All these tariffs are to finance the current tax cut package…So… the common man footing the bill for the wealthy.

Use to be, and I know today is a totally different world that depends on nothing but the best of every thing that they can get free or other wise or feel they are entitled to as a American, but that being said .
Use to be that most rational people that used any kind of common sense knew that if they wanted to get something what ever it may be that you would have to (here is a very foreign word in todays vocabulary) sacrifice something else to get what you want, but today instead of sacrifice that word has been replaced in America by the word Entitlement !!!
The US for years has allowed career politicians to run rampant behind the curtain and make deals with what ever country or group that would in some way personally benefit the career politician rather than the US and it's people first and foremost, that and the fact that these other countries have in some way profited by tariffs put on American products or monies given to their politicians or groups from us the tax payers that have helped our US deficit to be uncontrollable now has gone unnoticed by the naive Americans that have voted these career politicians into office again & again .
Now that there is some kind of retribution or someone trying to turn things around by leveling the tariff field and making the others pay as much as the US does that bad word that has been so easily replaced sacrifice has come into view again . Those that have sat back on easy street all this time don't like it and are as usual the first to B**CH the loudest and don't want to give up or Sacrifice anything in any way that could quite possibly (and we don't know) do something different to make it better for the future .
But why not try a different approach, something different from what has been the norm because the deficit proves what has been being done sure as hell hasn't been working !!! But that's okay because as long as your personal portfolio is doing good F**K everybody else and the future Right ?
If you all can sit here & in all honesty say that the way the politics and the way that the US government career politicians have been doing things up to this point that has put this country where it is being owned by China through the borrowing of money on our deficit that is some $32 TRILLION & then think that that is the way this country should still conduct business then I sure as hell don't want any of you running my business !!
That is one of the huge problems of the past, we put career politicians in place that wouldn't know how to successfully run a hot dog stand to run the biggest business in the world known to be The United States of America ! To this point there have been very few in politics that have run it successfully and if you don't believe it just look at the books, if you have more money going out than you have coming in then something is not being done correctly & needs to be changed .
But there is the problem ! It was real easy to get to this point by the deception of the other politicians but righting the ship is going to be a B word and no one especially the entitled or those that have benefited all this time from the deceptions are willing in any way to sacrifice anything at all about it, too there in lies the problem !!!
Einstein definition of insanity was - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different out come !!
Think about that in reference to American governing & politics, insanity definitely applies to the line of political thought and actions of the past !!!!
Yup….insanity is telling everyone that tax cuts pay for themselves Over and over again….

All true but this on again off again trade policy only adds fuel to the fire. Markets hate uncertainty. An on/off tariff policy fuels panic, panic fuels selling, and selling brings lower prices. Can't wait for Trump to use our tax money to "bail out" farmers again who never asked for it to begin with.
It’s not “markets” that hate uncertainty…it’s money. Bank money, investor money, corporate money, consumer money….no one wants to invest or spend while the 💩 for brains crew is at the wheel.

Markets have already priced in rate cuts. It's been priced in for months. Did you see the weakness yesterday at the end of the session (prior to PCE?). We will be red in April, I expect at least another 6-7% down in the S&P. All of which is just stocks, but at the end of the day the biggest thing impacting stocks is speculation of future market conditions and economic activity. Right or wrong the markets wanted to extend this bull run further at the $610 high for SPY. But even the risk adverse wall street bros can't toss cash into this burning pile. Did you read the outlook from Lululemon from yesterday? Nobody is projecting growth. Everybody is complaining about higher costs and concerns with tariffs. Inflation + reduction in disposable income is on the menu, which the economy was managing, but the Tariffs will tip it over and we are already seeing it.

Crazy that the markets prefer some idea of what to expect vs the on / off Tariff game.
It’s worse. DT is a day trader ….waking up trying to paint over yesterdays bad bets by waging a new and bigger bet. He literally has no clue what he is doing. Pretty soon his economic plays are going to produce further and further losses with no signs of returns and he is gonna play a new card…like invading Greenland. Remember Grenada anyone?
Getting his ass kicked by Putin…Middle East digging in for another century of pain…China blowing USA away in new tech and we retreat backwards with fossil fuels …
Everything he touches ultimately turns to tihs. Golden Age. …what an effing loser

I'm not justifying anything. I'm pointing out the fallacy of the good vs evil argument many posters rely on when the reality of life is things are not so black and white.
But a more recent example for our country would be the invasion of Iraq. Under false pretense. No WMD, no link to 9/11. Bush and his henchmen fabricated the justification and all the "patriots" on both sides of the isle fell in line and went along with the charade. The removal of Hussain was a strategic disaster for the Middle East. It removed Iran's natural enemy from the game board. And left us with today's mess. How is this so different from what Putin did? After all, many on the left considered Bush and Chaney as war criminals as s result of displacing and killing 100's of thousands of civilians. Until they lined up against Trump and turned into heroes.
How is it different? - As stupid and misguided as it was - Bush did not do it to make it the 51st state.

We can have a conversation about the Confederacy if you want but you probably been brainwashed by the public school system so I'm not sure how useful it will be. The civil war had very little to do with slavery and everything to do with northern debt. The Atlantic slave trade was a predominantly West African practice that was already being eradicated by Christendom over a matter of centuries. Slavery is still practiced today in Africa, so make sure you virtue signal about their flags too.
But just a test in how consistent you are in your logic and how good faith you are , I want you to condemn the Haitian flag.
Here's why
We can also have an honest conversation about race but again I'm not sure how useful it's going to be because you've been completely brainwashed into anti-whitism by the public school system
You really live in Winnipeg? Are you a Canadian citizen?

If we are having a recession over a decline in govt spending,
then the GDP wasn't real to begin with.
The US govt has a $2 trillion annual budget deficit.
That is basically $2 trillion of artificial GDP that is funded by
more debt.
Removing $2 trillion of GDP is where the actual economy is.
That’s not what’s happening maga pud

Exactly
Actually The Fed has a 2 trillion revenue deficit due to tax cuts to the wealthy, corporations and an unwillingness to adjust the metrics to properly fund SS.
It then borrows this money make up the delta.

This is interesting if not shocking, data. My conclusions: there are many very wealthy congress people. An article I just looked at had Apple as the number one investment by them with 100’s of millions of their money invested. Pfizer was 6th or 7 th that year. And if they based their bets on publicly available information, they just made a smart trade. If not, they should be prosecuted. Notably, the investors were bipartisan.
Don’t be elitist🤓
Eliitist? No….big difference between opinion and knowledge. This country is being run by people with opinions …and here we are.
My 2c. I analyze/vet individual loan scopes in my particular expertise. I don’t analyze the macro economy…that’s what the money does. Want to know what the money thinks? 5-6 years ago loans were 80 percent of appraised value..last year it was 60-65 percent of cost. If you do nt know what that means you shouldn’t be blathering …Basically $ taking foot off the gas in light of uncertainty accepting much less risk by demanding more equity.
I can tell you right now $ are not even looking at deals until 💩 for brains 47 gets a grip. As well equity not doing anything.
47 does not know what the hell he is doing. He is a day trader .ffs right now he is an hour by hour trader chasing losses. That ain’t my opinion …didn’t come from some twitter feed. That’s what people with equity and debt are telling me with their actions.

What is it since January 7th?
The pearl clutching - pure desperation bc Democrats legit have no plan is beyond pathetic.
We’ve been in a recession since 2022. That’s an absolute fact. They changed the definition. They moved the goal posts on the metrics.
Unemployment is going to increase - they’ve been holding off exactly like I said for the last 2 years in order to try to help Biden.
There is going to be a drop in AG. Significantly. Real estate is going to bottom out. Impacting the parts of the country where homes are grossly over valued - DC specifically. College may bust. Credit may bust. Lots of carnage inherited by Trump the Democrats have zero plan to address.
At best - summer of 2026 - but probably longer - the economy will begin to normalize. My guess is by 2028.
In May of 2020 - myself along with the smart conservatives here - legit said TEN YEARS. You idiots created a 10 year crisis like we haven’t seen since the depression.
So my timeline is currently tracking. Trump isn’t making things worse - he’s going to speed up that recovery timeline.
But by all means, pay attention daily to the stock
What is your education and professional experience that would lead us to believe you know what your are talking about?
