This is going to come out as some combination of anti-semitism, people mad they voted against the Democratic line, basic terrorism.. but then I repeat myself by saying that.

There is no place for this. Of course asshats like th3 want to say thoughts and prayers to make a joke of it.

It’s too early to analyze….lets just keep them In our thoughts and prayers

I recall India and Pakistan on the brink of nuclear war recently. And then the orange menace got involved.

    Where exactly is the deal?

The U.S. State Departmentupdated its travel advisory, issuing a Level 4 "Do Not Travel" warning for India's Jammu and Kashmir, citing high risks of terrorism and civil unrest.[103] Additionally, the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi confirmed it is closely monitoring the situation and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice, reaffirming its support for India's counterterrorism efforts.[104][105] On 26 April 2025, President Donald Trump downplayed the diplomatic crisis, stating that the two nations "had that fight for 1,500 years", despite the fact that the Kashmir crisis started in 1947.[106][107] United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that he is closely monitoring the situation after being advised by National Security Advisor of India Ajit Doval via phonecall after Operation Sindoor.[108]

On 10 May, a few days after Vice President JD Vance stated the conflict was "none of our business", President Trump first announced the ceasefire on social media, claiming the US had an active role in mediating the agreement.[109][110] While Pakistan acknowledged American involvement, Indian officials maintained the agreement had been reached directly between the two countries.[111]

The Biden Derangement crew at work again.  I can’t remember how many Trumpers told me we would have no wars under Trump.  He can’t end the one I was told would end 5 months ago and we won’t have 4 years of peace.

Yup...magadon tore up JCPOA in 2018 as soon as he could...because he is the deal maker😄

He also torpedoed the PPP...which would have leveraged control over China trade...because...he could do better...😀

Now here we are...his minions blame everyone else and the rest us and the world knows he is a freaking fake....

But meanwhile down at Home Depot in LA...

Iran's people live under a regime that commits unspeakable atrocities. A large part of Iranian people love the US and many come here and live in Southern California area (LEGALLY) I don't think I have met any short of an MBA. Very intelligent, hard working, friendly people. They just want to be able visit home at some point without fear of retribution for coming here. Obviously Iran is neighbors with Israel and Iranl has been threatening nuclear action for a long time.

Trump has shown a strong focus on trying to negotiate with Iran and I think that scares Israel as they ultimately don't trust Iran's regime to ever hold up to an agreement. Israel would rather handle this with military intervention and remove the regime as that is really the only way to long term peace. That is also what the majority of the Iranian people want. But we will see further talks between the US and Iran Sunday, so it's just an interesting and complicated situation. I think Trump really wants to cut a deal as conflict in that region isn't what he wants to see. Israel doesn't want him to cut a deal because if he does they likely won't have the freedom to use force as we saw today.  But Israel also can't stand in the way of a deal or sabotage it with it's relationship with the US. Most of these views are from a few Iranians I spoke with today regarding the bombing with family in Iran. So I trust these view points.

See above for how they just make up numbers. I think outlawing gas stoves is stupid.
But they just pulled that $30,000 number out of their asses. I just considered updating our range. The very best induction range out there is maybe $12,000. (Before tariffs!). And most apartments and homes would go electric, which is more like $2-5,000.

If the charges are true he can spend time in prison here then get deported and everyone can move on.

Everything about the timing, charges, the prosecutor resigning asap….seems at best suspect. If this turns out to be a sham case…this administration has taken a sharp turn toward a very bad place

I finally leased an EV (not a Tesla, although I considered one) because the incentives/rebates just made it too damn cheap to consider anything else. I think it's great. Never buy gas for trips around town. Still have an ICE for roadtrips. This seems to be the most popular combination for EV adopters in my neck of the woods.

Elon’s intentions are good, but virtue in politics is not rewarded and he wants Republicans to take the 20 side of an 80/20 issue.

    Americans don’t care about debt.

    They should.. but we don’t.

Therefore he wants the slashing of entitlements which would result, likely, in Republican losses over the next 2-4 years .. which, ironically, would lead to even worse handling of the debt.

Slash entitlements? Hahaha…Tesla and SpaceX would be 0 without tax credits grants and contracts from USA and TX. Did Elon think maybe we shouldn’t be funding his dream to go to mars?

There should be but logistically it would be really hard to pull off as undocumented immigrant workers would fear being deported.

Yup.  The illegal immigrants by and large do the jobs that we don't want to and many employers take advantage of paying them under the table (42% of undocumented workers in NYS make below minimum wage).  We also wouldn't have enough workers to fill those spots if every illegal alien was suddenly deported.  It really should be a multifaceted approach of beefing up border security,  increasing punishment on employers that exploit illegal immigrants, and somehow do what @Roundyboutsuggested.  It's not going to happen though.

Bush 2 started raiding meat packing factories early in his first term. It was an epic fail...The businesses pushed back and the whole idea of penalizing employers disappeared.

We need immigrants, we need immigration.... sorry Steven Miller...it just won't work to make America all white...

I've said it before, but if people don't go to jail for what they've done then we're finished.

I'm confident the leaders in the FBI and DOJ fully understand this so I'm willing to give them enough time to build air tight cases.

But if they fail, we're finished as a country.

    This is their one chance.

Ya ....like going to jail for trying to overthrow a free and fair election?

Legit - there are millions of MAGA voters that couldn’t care less about 99 percent of what Trump says or does but will never vote Democrat again because of this.

Until the left and Democrats denounce this as anything but normal, it will discredit every other position they stand for.

The debt.  Tariffs.  Taxes.  Health care.  Social security.  Immigration.  Foreign policy.

I’d like to have normal discussions about these things like 30 years - shoot just 10 years ago - but we can’t because the party that cried about Republicans denying science re climate change are telling us boys can be girls.  And compete with them.

Oh.  And also.  Because they shut down the world over a CCP Cold - they can never be trusted to have power.  Ever.

So we will screw future generations to deal with GW because there is a trans kid long jumping?

1 in 300 people died from COVID here is the US. Before it mutated it was wiping out entire hospital staffs ….now we have an hhs director who doesn’t like vaccines? Bravo.

This is like saying someone is for trans kids in sports because stupid DT raised tariffs on sneakers.

Thats the difference…maga is truly just about “owning the libs” not really about crafting productive policy ….this thread underscores this

Unfortunately, this bill doesn't say anything about tariffs because Congress doesn't have enough guts to take back that power they should have.  If this bill passes it at least has staying power.  I'd wait until the final version of the bill passes to judge it as public pressure for any kind of welfare spending cuts is probably going to be removed or significantly reduced.

Tariff revenue is part of their equation

Baseline budgeting is a massive problem.

From your source that supports my claim:

However, baseline budget deficit projections—as well as the cost of progressive spending proposals—have grown so steeply that the usual tax-the-rich options can no longer come close to filling this gap. Either middle-class taxes must also rise sharply, or Washington’s spending appetite must be pared back.

Rich guy institute says taxing rich guys won’t work?
