Not my guy, would rather he not run. They have been trying to "get him" for like 7 years now and so far they got a $1 million fine. Wow, I guess they got him. Now do all of the other politicians who do the same kind of stuff

“They” did “get him”….twice….Except the spineless GOP would not stand to their oath and convict him on the impeachment charges. Just think if they did….That would be 6 years in the rear view and you would be enjoying your second term of the Pence Presidency…

In an interview Schummer said it came down to Democrats having "better candidates" and there is a lot of truth to that statement.  As you cite Oz.  A homegrown moderate Pennsylvania Republican would have probably won that Senate seat.  A fundamental problem is what sells in the primaries doesn't always work in the general election, for one because of a very large independent vote that swings either way depending on the issue and specific district or State.  Democrats have more or less recognize this reality while Republicans are, as usual, slow to catch on.

I live in NH. The GOP could have easily won both congressional seats and the Senate seat. For  the Senate seat GOP nominated Bolduc who claimed public schools were affording litter boxes  for furry kids (really). Karoline Leavitt was a freaking 25 year old Trump Barbie who claimed to the end that Trump won the 2020 election. The other GOP concressional candidate was even worse.

    They got there arses kicked.

    What a mess.

The Bengals are about to be a problem. I didn’t get the hype last year, but they’re getting hot at the right time.

I was onboard with what you are saying until you brought the Bills into it. We’ve had a rough go this season with injuries and high expectations. We’re gripping too tight at the moment. We haven’t played fast and loose in a month or more. I’m not sure that being in the facility more is the solution to that. When teams get that way it’s a razor thin line. Taking 2-3 days is the safe route for sure.

Really? There are other good teams that are going to be hard to beat?....who knew?

I think it’s obvious to all of us we need more talent in our skill positions.

Bills are #2 scoring offense and #1 point differential

I believe that if you go back to my pre-draft posts, you'd find that I openly advocated for the Bills to spend a high pick on a wide receiver, and to spend premium assets on the offense in general. Where I generally differed from you and ScottLaw was that I did not feel -- as you and Scott seemed to -- that it was the ONLY way forward, and that not doing so would constitute an outright, unforgivable mistake by Beane. Given that the Bills offense is currently ranked 2nd in PPG 11 games into the season, and that the defense is ranked 5th in PPG allowed despite being absolutely ravaged by injuries, I don't feel I was too far off base.

I do admit that I poked fun at you and ScottLaw about the concerns over the outside WR positions. I felt that Gabriel Davis would step up and become a viable #2. For all of the vitriol thrown his way this season, Davis is currently ranked 23rd in the league in receiving yards and has as many receiving TDs as Mark Andrews or Justin Jefferson do.

Where I thought they could use help in terms of weaponry -- and I still feel this way -- is in the slot. I DID think that between McKenzie, Crowder, and Shakir, one of them would step up. I admit to being totally wrong in this case. Obviously, none of them has.

Bills are #2 scoring offense….what do you want?

    Crowder got hurt

The Bills wasted money and draft picks on defense. They didn't get an actual NFL receiver until year 3 when Diggs came here. Look at Allen’s receivers his rookie year and 2nd year and you can’t be honest that they were setting him up to succeed. The receivers he had were actual bums from the street. With the exception of Diggs, Allen has no help.

Defensive minded HC McDermott tells Allen “oh hey…um yeah just go out there and you and Dorsey do your thing…make it work or whatever…I got defensive game film to study”

    Wut?

As much as Leslie Frasier has been criticised for play calling on defense, I think our biggest issue is YAC - we seem to be missing a disproportionate number of tackles this year. Is it a case of reserves struggling to execute? Players on offense knowing how we tackle so being able to skip round them? Players not being coached probably to wrap up and hold? It feels like we’re putting ourselves under additional pressure due to not being able to stop the YAC, and I cannot recall us being so porous in previous years.

when will we run out of things to criticize about an 8-3 team gutting out wins with half its starting defense, half its oline and its possession receiver out?

Bills tied for 5th fewest man games lost to injury with only 83.

The difference? Many of them have been to key players unlike the last several years.

So the excuses the Bills are somehow more injured than every other team needs to stop. They are STILL one of the least injured teams in the NFL even with what seems like a crazy rash of injuries...we just don't see all the players out for other teams because we don't follow them very closely.

Injuries to non key players/starters would help as well.

What’s the excuse….they are are 8-3 and a tick away from the one seed

Zero chance the NFL goes back to 16.

The end game was always two preseason games and eighteen regular season games.

This is just the process in getting there.

That was the thought…until everyone can see 17 is already too much….18 with two byes and 2 preseasons? …what a March Super Bowl ?

    No.

I do think 2 preseason games, 18 regular season games and 2 bye weeks is where this is going though.  I’d be for it.

NFL product is as good as ever, but it does seem injuries are on the rise for most teams… unless we’re just paying more attention with fantasy/popularity of the league etc.

18 regular season games? How about 16 over 18 weeks

Tre was injured last year, we knew he was going at be out half the year,  that's on management/ coaching to account for it.

One of our two 31 year old safties is injured.  Shocking.

Edmunds hurt, he's a suspect player.  Rousseau hurt but we have spent his many 1st and 2nd picks on DLine??

We went into the year planning to start Dane Jackson. We drafted Elam in the first. We went into the year with them planned as our starters, that's what we decided to do.

And we are half a game out of the 1 seed
