The @PeteHegseth nomination has been endangered entirely by anonymous sources. We have zero idea about the credibility of these sources since every single mud-slinger has remained (& been allowed to remain) unnamed. [Btw these same media refused to report on the Doug Emhoff accuser bc she was “anonymous” in the Daily Mail.]
Meanwhile dozens of on the record character references have been offered (along with point by point disputes of the allegs) by Medal of Honor recipients, decorated war heroes, his Fox colleagues and those who worked w/Pete at his vets charities. How can a nomination as important as this be thwarted by entirely anonymous accusations? Where is the fairness/due process? The media ran with the clearly bogus rape charge story
w/o offering virtually any of the exonerating facts. Now they ask us to believe them about these other character smears. Why should we? The infidelity - that’s admitted. Drinking upon his return from combat tours - that too. Nothing else here has been confirmed, verified, or substantiated with any evidence. The only fair Q for these Senators is: are a man’s prior marital troubles and a few nights seen drunk at bars years ago after returning from combat enough to sink a nomination? These are the only fair character Qs.

It still amazes me that MK ball washes trump these days after he utterly humiliated her on national tv.

He barely a 50% passer. Like that’s a highly correlated number for college to pro QBs.

What Josh did is going to get people fired because he is absolutely a unicorn.

Not only did he have elite work ethic in how he worked to completely remake himself as a QB, he’s only one of the most uniquely physically gifted players the game has ever seen, and what I’m also realizing is that he might be seriously intelligent. Like his ability to process has improved exponentially- again in a way you almost never see develop this drastically

He was drafted 7th overall….pretty sure he did some good things at Wyo

Lucky? Going back to the playoffs last year they've won 12 one score games. Assuming a 50% chance of victory in each one, that's a 1 in 4,096 chance if it's based on pure luck. And it isn't just the dregs of the league they're doing this to. In that time they've done it to the Bills, the Ravens (twice), the 49ers, the Bengals, the Broncos... The result is the result. Chiefs find a way to win these games no matter the quality of their opponent. I don't see any of their remaining opponents this year getting up by two scores with 2 minutes to go which is why I'm predicting 16-1. We're the only team (with the only player) that's shown the ability to do what needs to be done in crunch time to beat them.

All those stats seem great …a great way to explain how lucky they are.  See the gift of the undead play today.

Record is all that matters. The rest is fluff for talking heads. Everyone said the Bills would be worse off this year because they let talented players go. Turns out we have our best record in decades instead. Football is about much more than talent. The more the Chiefs win one score games, the better they become at doing so. It's the ultimate superpower in a league that is mostly about winning one score games. This year they've finally perfected the art. They let the game come to them, make sure it's a one score game near the end, and from there it's a guaranteed win. A top WR and top LT combined isn't worth as much as that superpower when it comes to the win column.

Lol superpower …they aren’t that good.. they just played two bumblearse teams and were lucky to win

They have two NFC championships. It sort of ends with that unless you're in a fantasy. I gave you real stats of what has happened in the playoffs. I gave you real results. You gave me theories and hypotheticals. Maybe this is the year we don't exit again prior to accomplishing nothing. Hope so.

Maybe you should not be a fan of this era of the Bills….you know wait another 25-40 years….might be something you can get behind

It's not a hate post at all.   A lot of players don't live to play football.  I mean we are talking about a guy who took no joy from playing on the league's most famous team and playoff teams at each stop?   Reading that as Buffalo has been a revelation to him is foolish and naive.  Like when Bills fans talked themselves into the idea that Stef Diggs tendency to irrational disenchantment wouldn't follow him to Buffalo.  I mean, Cooper didn't spend his whole career with the Jets for fuxake.  Get your head out of yourass.

I said it when Cooper was put on the trade market,  he is not going to elevate your teams level of compete.   He's not a leader.   He's good with whatever so long as he's getting paid right.  But he's also not toxic in the way that alpha's like Davante Adams can be when things go wrong.   He was a perfect fit for the Bills because he is a great talent on the boundary and was dirt cheap.   He'll reach the crossroads of his career this offseason when he can no longer command a top 5 WR money as a free agent.   So elite teams can now afford him.   He has a chance to put a cap on his career playing for elite teams and change the perception that he was just a number accumulator who didn't care that much about winning.  But, it also wouldn't shock me if he just retired if he can't get upwards of $20M aav(which I doubt).

You seem to know an awful lot about him….very insightful

Goodbye Gaetzy. And what a luscious high-hair scalp it is.

Know what?  Let the MAGA have it all…let them have all their criminal troll revenge appointments, let them tariff, deport 10 million, let them burn it all to the ground so they won’t have any excuses anymore and no one left to fight.

McD is regular season coach of the decade, that’s never been an issue.  Problem is, he sucks in the post season.  Egg against Jags, Texans meltdown, 13 seconds, Bengals embarrassment. I truly hope he proves me wrong, I’d gladly eat a years supply of crow, but until he does I’ll advocate for hope in the post season rather than rinse repeat failure.

Well - He is 5 and 6 in the post season - There are a handful (Belly) who might be significantly better - but 500 is actually pretty good. FFS Lamar is 2 and 6 - Andy Reid was SUB 500 in the post season until 3 years ago

Egg against the Jags? - That was a Jesus like miracle getting that roster to the post season - not sure how anyone can be critical of that season

There is a lot of talk about JA being MVP ´cause without a lot of weapons he has the Bills sitting at 9-2 and beating the undefeated Taylor Chiefs...

I honestly think that McD should really be a Coach of the Year candidate, how can he not?!
    - He has the players buying into the culture.

    - Suffering with a lot of injuries, the backups are well prepared to step up.

    - He might not call the defense, but its his system and trust me he is the one making the adjustments at half time with Bobby and Brady and completely dominating the 2nd half of the games.

    - A lot of good players and leaders departure this offseason and he has the Bills 9-2 when everybody thought we were rebuilding, at the end of the day, it is his team.

    - Maybe not the best game manager, but you how can you not be pleased with his game decisions. He trusted Bass to kick a very difficult game winner and he delivered... the trust Allen to convert a 4th and 2 against the Chiefs and he delivered.

And the list goes on and on...

Odds for him to get it in BETUS are +2500... Mike Tomblin is the current favorite with +300 followed by Dan Campbell at +400. Is he really that far away?

Haha....half this board was done with "Mclappy" after week 5.....
