This is the problem with these sims.  Barmore unrealistically falls to 30.  So he’s most likely going to be a better value than any OT.  Harris unrealistically falls to 61.  Obviously a greater value than an OT. Jabril Cox available @93?  LOL.

it’s looks great.....but it’s not going to happen.

I thought the same thing.  Very surprised that some of those guys were available where they were, but it's just for fun and if they're there, you gotta take 'em.

The goal is to get better on the offensive line. Even if we bring everyone back how is that improvement?

Agreed. Hoping we can address the O line in FA.   In the simulation I ran, there were just not any good values on the OL in the early rounds.  The two I picked seemed like they were versatile and solid players.

If we re-sign 2 out of Feliciano/Boettger/DWIlliams, and Ford comes back from injury, how big of a need is it really?

Edit: Disclaimer - I'm always down for upgrading the trenches, so wouldnt be upset with an early OL pick. Just dont think it will be that much of a need compared to D Front 7.

Agreed.  I tried not to over value tackles because there were none available that matched the draft slots.  Any one that I picked would have been a reach, but the OG and C with the ability to play G seemed like good value.

I realize that team "needs" are a matter of debate - however, unless the OL needs are heavily covered in FA (doubtful) - then I think there may be significant agreement that the OL should be addressed sometime prior to the 6th round. Nice try at the mock draft though ...

Thanks.  I did try every round before the sixth to look at OL, but in each round, there were none available that weren't a big reach considering the draft slot.  The ones I did select matched up with the value for that round.   All the best and thanks for the feedback.

Almost every mock draft I have seen has Harris going in the 1st round.

I know, me too.  I almost took him in the first and was pleasantly surprised he was still there in the second round.

We have the entire slate of WRs returning from 2019 and added three more bodies to that group - Diggs, Davis and Hodgins. Clearly we cant carry 9 WRs on the roster - so have to leave 2-3 WRs unprotected - either through cuts or on PS.

The Jets'  WR slate is worse than the Bills circa 2018 (with Jones and Foster). Mims, Perriman, Berrios, Hogan and Crowder are all questionable with varying degrees of injuries.  I am almost positive that the WR(s) cut by us is (are) going to be gobbled up by the Jets. Now Packers and 49ers also need WRs in the worst way possible. But Jets will have waiver claim priority on those teams.

That is why I am hoping the Bills trade them to the NFC (Packers / 49ers) netting conditional 7th rounders if necessary. Why leave these nice WRs for our division foes?

Of course there is also the danger of our PS guys being signed outright by the Jets - but that is a risk we have to live with.

Just a test with the new server.  Thought maybe I needed to log in again, but it doesn't look like it.

Momentum is building toward Kaepernick returning to the NFL.  Roger Goodell has officially encouraged NFL teams to sign Kaep, and also offered him an open-ended invitation to join the NFL league's office to fight racial injustice.

What an opportunity to test our TSW prognosticators. Here's a story that's headed toward some type of ending and new beginning. What do you think will happen? Or what should happen?

Here's what I think should happen. Kaepernick would be a perfect fit for the LA Chargers.

    Why?

—Chargers need a reason for people to care about them. They are easily Los Angeles most forgettable team.

—LA is a very pro-Kaepernick city, as opposed to say, Nashville or Buffalo or Jacksonville

—The new stadium in Inglewood would absolutely sell more tickets with Kaepernick playing, just on principle he would receive support, even if they go 0-16

—For as much as the Spanos family are garbage, they owe the NFL for helping them get such a prime relocation after failing to get a new San Diego stadium... they would owe it to the NFL to take "the risk" of signing Kaep.

Despite a certain moderator with a Christmas Story avatar mocking this suggestion in the "Kaep to NE" thread, apparently I'm not the only one to think the Chargers make sense for Kaep -- https://boltbeat.com/2020/06/15/la-chargers-colin-kaepernick-flier/

Anyway. What do you think will happen?

He does NOT want to play in the NFL.  He sabotaged his own showcase last year.  If he does sign, he'll not be the starter and then quit, claiming he got screwed.  Media will once again chastise the NFL.
