  1. It was nice to see Incognito's maturity when the Jets D-lineman was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. Although the Jets player tried to goad him into a scrap, Richie just pulled his arm away and walked back toward the huddle area. He has really come a long way and is worthy of a nice contract. Lock him up, Bills!

Yes we should definitely give a 33 Year Old Guard a Nice contract cause he didn't get into a scrap and get an unsportsmanlike conduct.

  2. Well managed - yes

    Well coached - No

How can a well managed team not make the playoffs for 16 years? Pegulas took over and think there is no issue with existing management and lean on that management to bring in Rex Ryan. That management previously hired a mediocre college coach from a mediocre program and proceeded to give him an option to cancel his contract with a large payout if ownership changed hands. Who does that???? Was there a huge line waiting to hire Doug Marrone to an NFL Head Coaching position??? Management of this team has been inept and the Pegula's simply are too nice to be successful as NFL owners.
  3. Great contribution Billz. NOT!

I somewhat agree with the OP. I would get Watkins his 1000 yards and sit him.

In the second half I would just run the ball.

All of a sudden on a 16 year playoff drought some posters care about week 17 and the ticket holders.

Funny sh.it there boys!Btw, last week all healthy starters played and the game was a snoozefest. How would sitting your franchise players in the second half of a meaningless game not be wise?

Sit him for what? Is he so fragile that you are worried about the next real game which is 8 months away.

  4. Are you really highlighting in a negative way the fact that Mehta--a longtime NY reporter--is Indian-American? If so--and I can't help but think that it is--that's really weak.

A Joke.... Remember what a joke was back in the good old days. I did it as a test to find when the first Aggressive Liberal Politically correct police ISIS enabling !@#$ will respond... Ding Ding Ding . You Win!!!

  5.

I think fans here forget about the most important aspect about being a viable starting QB in the NFL. It's not about completion percentages or QBR, it's about what you do in the fourth quarter when your team needs big plays in the passing game to win the close games. This is Taylor's biggest failure so far, but it's something you can chalk up to fact that he's still developing as a starting QB. It's not a knock, it just is what it is right now.

The best thing for the Bills on Sunday would be for Taylor to win this game with his arm in the final seconds. It would go a long way for him and this team to have confidence that he is getting it and turning the corner to becoming the long term answer. If he doesn't and they lose that doesn't mean he's not the answer, just that he still has next year to prove he can eventually do it. But at some point he needs to start doing this or it's on to another QB.

I'll settle for winning in a blow out to shut these !@#$ing Jets fans up

  6. McCoy certainly does not suck but once again he is an example of Whaley impluse control issues when he wants a shiny new toy. I think the trade was a steal for the Bills but the contract extension and salary was way too much for a commodity position on a player who has begun having trouble staying on the field.

  7.

If I'm Terry Pegula, i'm not !@#$ing scared about the cost of natural gas, because I sold my company.

If I'm Terry Pegula, I'm scared of owning a franchise that hasn't done bupkis in nearly two decades.

Still owns Greater Rocky Mountain Regional Oil & Gas in Colorado and Wyoming, and JKLM Energy in Pennsylvania so he still is exposed and given the cost of natural gas they are bleeding money but hey what do I know.

  8. I keep asking over and over what was wrong with the clock management and no one every explains it. They didn't want to leave any time for Dallas. The INT was on 3rd down. There would have been 2 sec left for a FG if needed. That's nuts. Bills had a timeout left.

If I remember correctly there were only 7 seconds left before the int which you can easily burn on one play.

  9. If it was, then t was a terrible decision because Hogan was in front of him, the only person going to catch that under thrown ball was the defender trailing the receiver.

Other than that, he had a terrific day.

But he has one big problem to work on: 1) Figure out how to throw over the middle. And despite your theory Promo, I think it is more he can't, so we don;t send guys across there.

That Int had all the earmarks of a panicked play due to horrendous clock management and looking to leave enough time for the fg. This team runs a horrible 2 minute offense. I never get that they have a sense of urgency.

Taylor certainly doesn't suck. But I think he gets a lot more slack than past Bills qb.

How many of those QB' were top 10 in completion pct and YPC?

  10. Let me see him throw the ball over 30 times and win a game. Sometimes you need the QB to carry you to victory, and I need to see him consistently show he can do that when called upon. Limiting your QB to 20 throws a game as part of your game plan Is not indicative of a franchise QB, imho.

When your team runs for 250 it isnt necessary to throw 30 times a game.

  11. This was why I didn't want Rex in the first place not because I had anything against him as a coach but because the strongest part of our team was our 4-3 defense and Rex is a 3-4 coach, every time a new coach comes in to a situation like this they always say something like "even though I coach Blah blah blah X system and the team has personal for Blah blah blah Y system we'll modify our system to take advantage of the talent we got" then they go ahead and implement their system whether it takes advantage of the players strength or not. It's sad to think about what might have been but even if we had kept our 4-3 defense it probably would have been a little down anyways, Kyle Williams is coming to an end as a full-time pro-bowl DT, he's going to be a very good pass rush specialist DT or if he continues to play a majority of downs, a guy who's penetrating big plays continue to diminish while the number of plays he gets washed out increases. Mario Williams might have good reason to think the 3-4 doesn't make best use of his talents but beyond that lets not forget his history has been very very good seasons alternating with very mediocre seasons. Finally for the defense there is not doubt injuries have hurt especially Arron Williams injury.

Now I think the Bills have to move on and get Rex guys who fit his defense, get a better number 2 WR, a better backup QB, RT etc etc

And in 2 years when we fire Rex spend the next 3 years after that be in a replacing "Rex's guys" rebuilding effort. Sounds like the Bills way.

  12. did I say everything polian did at every stop is null and void? Lol - nice straw man.

I've repeatedly said he deserves to be in the HOF for his work. These three guys absolutely follow his pro and college scouting and team building model - in recent years it doesn't look great.

You may have missed the part where I would welcome his advice on football ops and structure. I believe he is much more aware and wise on that at this point than our current leaders.

Well played completely ignoring my Apple analogy which if you agree to completely blows your argument out of the water. Merry Christmas
