  1. I agree - its not fair to take crap from everyone, but its what the job entails....there is 500 other coaches out there dying for that chance....buy the ticket and take the ride
  2. that article made me puke in my mouth....London Fletcher is twice the player Cowart is now - we made Cowart a fair offer after a career threatening injury and he dcided to walk - who cares? Ill take Clements over Winfield anyday That guy is on the money about Fat Pat though - I didnt think we'd miss him that much but I was wrong as hell on that one
  3. ...at least the "ask him yourself" questions to MM and TD on the Bills home page this week should make for interesting reading
  4. I was going to post the same thing - I hate this guy....he has never said a positive thing about the Bills in his career....I e-mail him every week and tell him what an a-hole he is.....nothing but constant negativity
  5. Seven - I was disturbed for a week after I saw that
  6. This is most likely the only good news we can look forward to for the next 2 weeks
  7. anyone that has as many INT's at this stage of his career has already surpased Winfield....I hope we keep Clements - hes a stud
  8. it is SOOOOO short sighted......the WORST case scenario is that Holcomb wins just enough to miss the playoffs at 8-8 and 9-7, similar to last season, and then we are square one in training camp again the Giants took their lumps with Eli for a year, and now its paying off - I know its hard to justify to veteran players like Moulds who want to win now, but we have to let JP learn on the job - its the only way.....I might be in the minority, but I don't think he played bad against the Saints....the dropped balls, awful 3rd down defense and abandoning the run certainly did him no favors.... ....on the plus side - think how much a win, at home, against the Bills biggest division rival, would do for JP's confidence
  9. awesome post - please forward to that miserable SOB Jerry Sullivan I dont think Losman is to blame - he had no time at all, and being that he's young it screwed up his timing when he did have time....but I loved that he can make things happen with his legs.....
  10. respectfully, I think you are over-reacting a bit....to say that was as bad as the low points of the Bledsoe era is a little much right now....there was several low points in the Bledsoe era where I wanted to drink bleach (the Sunday night debacles at the hands of MI, KC and NE - the stretch in 03 where we didnt score a touchdown for 2-3 games, Drew's 5 turnovers at home against Balt last year, the Pitt. finale last year.)....Ill stop - it hurts, but I could go on this is not the end of the world - not a divisional or conference loss and likely the entire division will be 1-1 by Monday we couldnt reasonably expect JP to play as well as last week for the rest of the year without some bumps in the road - there are going to be days like this....the D got shredded too - he still hasn't thrown a pick - I'd rather have him get stuffed and punt then try to force things and make a bad situation worse Best thing to do is forget it and starting scheming for ATL
  11. I am glad you noticed it too - I was wondering if I was the only one....they are never mentioned in any of the big name NFL writers columns, and on the Sunday wrap-up shows they were basically the last highlights shown - no mention anywhere you would think, having a potential top-3 defense a 3rd year in a row would warrant mentioning - its amazing you can bet coaches and players know what the deal is - the D is relentless....TKO or Fletcher may actually kill someone on the field before the year is out
  12. I am a little concerned, but the silver lining in that cloud (at least today) was that Lindell got some practice, hit 5 in a row, and hopefully built up some much needed confidence that will (hoepfully) carry thru the season Also - if the D plays like that every week, we wont need to score more than 20 very often JP was poised and only made one awful decision (which he got away with) - he clearly knew where his safety valves were when the pressure was on
  13. thats why I am confused - I didnt think Burns was considered a HB anymore and was a basically a special teams ace and back up FB.
  14. has it been officially decided who is the #2 RB, should Willis (GOD FORBID) get injured? I got the impression from the pre-season that it was Gates, but all the on-line depth charts seem to think its Joe Burns? anyone have any thoughts?
  15. you are right - Cowart was dominant before he got hurt and only became a "loser" when he became a Jet...that was a cheap shot - but the fact remains it was a smart move letting him go and Fletcher has been a great addition, at a lesser cost
