But as has been brought up - Spain brought it to their attention just before the game.

This was Spain most likely showing he was unhappy and the team said we are not going to sit on this.  We need people to be on board because who know when it might be your turn back in the drivers seat.  That stunt most likely cost him his job.

What good does that do if they need someone to step in and he is playing a “sore foot” card.

If he is going to be unhappy and not giving his all on the bench - he is not worth being part of the team - move on and fill the role and grab another young guy as needed from a practice squad.

Kind of like retiring at half time. Cant have that. This builds a mindset that if you dont want to be overlooked just claim a pain.. Cant have that either

You didn’t ask me and I’m not a film watcher but I get the impression that the coaching staff thought ford would be better than Spain but he hasn’t been. I don’t know if Spain is healthy but I wouldn’t be surprised to see boettger or Bates there this week instead

Guess that is off the table.

  3. @Virgil

2 - Allen - I'm not going to talk about his stats, his missed throw to Diggs in the end zone, or his overall inaccuracy at times.  I'm just going to talk about the key things that makes Allen who he is, and that's his swagger.  For the past two weeks, Allen hasn't had that look in his eyes, that kid-like excitement, and that overall confidence that made you believe he could score from anywhere on the field.  I don't know if he just doesn't know what to do against these defenses, but I don't believe he's seen anything dramatically new these past few weeks.  Whatever it is, Allen has taken a step back these two weeks and hopefully it's not a sign of things to come.  This is the most concerning thought to me as this is something I didn't think would ever go away.  Right now, the MVP talk has to stop and figure out if this is the first 2 games is a sign of things to come, and hope we see Josh of old next week against the Jets.

I said this last week that he looked like his body was battling something. Cold, Allergies. Flu. Obviously not covid. But he just didn't look energetic.  He needs to come back. That said, he is the only running game we have. As far as the rest of the team. I got nothing.

I go to church every week.  I agree with peaceful protests and disavow looting and rioting by any group, left or right wing (and there have been both).  And I’m sorry for your ex’s hairdresser but as one who teaches anatomy and physiology I am unclear how a mask would cause periodontal disease.  Regardless, telling folks they have to wear a mask at work during a pandemic is not a violation of some inherent right, it is a condition of employment.

    Well stated my friend.

https://nypost.com/2020/08/05/mask-mouth-is-a-seriously-stinky-side-effect-of-wearing-masks/ Her Dentist is telling her she needs to be open less and wear a mask less. He knows her history and that she never had a problem. you know how he knows that? Because he has seen her for the last 15 years twice a year. You teach what you know. Go out and learn some more instead of saying what you dont know.

...that is difficult and hopefully an isolated case.....perhaps a shield is equally protective yet not a contributor to her gum disease.....hopefully she considers OTC gum disease deterrents like Sensodyne or Parodontax to help her condition......

Nope. Not so isolated. But go ahead. Keep making excuses. I will, well, follow the doctors. https://nypost.com/2020/08/05/mask-mouth-is-a-seriously-stinky-side-effect-of-wearing-masks/

I mean it's not like there aren't laws that say you can't walk around naked already. This just seems like such a crazy hill to literally die on.

Great job picking a small piece of the statement and making a point. Climb that hill alone.

What rights did you give up?  Seriously.  And what rights is anyone saying you give up permanently?  Wearing a mask does not violate your rights any more than having to wear a shirt into a business does.  We can assemble now as long as we wear masks and we check the number of people to a reasonable degree.  I go to church every week now.  Go to work. Go out to eat.  As Bills fans we all want the stadium to open again, but is that a right?

we had to make some adjustments to be sure but no one has permanently lost their rights under the Constitution.

Saying you have no right to choose to cover your face or not. My wife has a hairdresser who has a gum disease now because she has to wear them to bring in an income. She is a single mom and that is seeing a doctor about it. Money out of her pocket and the dr said the only way to stop it is to wear her mask less often. But she cant even if the one other person in her chair says it is ok BECAUSE NY GIVES HER NO CHOICE! You have no right to go to church when we give the right to protest by looting and rioting.

How many people in the US and the world are you Ok with dying?  Give me a number.

I was not ok wit the 40k that died in NY and not ok with the 220K plus that dies in US. That said, The day they pulled me from the birth canal I started dying. I don't want to loose anyone I love but they will go back to dust someday. I know 1 person that committed suicide because he couldn't take this pandemic so our lockdown didn't help him. The list goes on. People die. We cant stop that bud. But I am willing to make my life a number to win back my rights. Many of which were taken for "my health and wellbeing" and for the "common good of all". Here is a question for you and it is as ignorant as the one you asked me. What rights are you willing to give up permanently or over and over again for 1 life?

That study with the 80% is being misconstrued.  What it really showed is those in restaurants and bars/coffee shops where you have to take your mask off had higher infection rates.  I agree on the NYS data; that has always been puzzling.

No.  Absolutely no.  If what you are saying is to forego masks the infection and mortality rates would skyrocket.  You don’t really want that, do you?

I say open up and infect away. If you are afraid for any reason whatsoever stay home. My co-workers father, 82yo and his sister, 55 and his nephew 25 all got it two weeks ago. Sister was deathly sick for about 2 days and still not feeling well but he says she complains about everything so hard to say. His nephew had a bad headache and lost his taste. His 82yo father said it was like a bad cold and put in two cord of firewood and changed 3 basement windows. He is glad he got it and has the antibodies. I think I had it in February.

I believe the data tells us if we wear masks, all of us, and wear them correctly it will significantly decrease infections.

Yet the data shows nearly 80% of infected wore masks. and early data in NY were 65% of infected stayed home. of course those numbers too are always changing

Disagree. All these reflected a ridiculously poor investigation and policy, bordering on a psyop meant to confuse and irritate.

The very best way to have gone about it (in hindsight, though I was saying it from the beginning) would be Sweden plus protect the vulnerable. Which means no masks for virtually everyone, live as normal, reduce large gatherings...

but none of this back and forth nonsense. That’s not science. Oh do this...oh don’t do this...oh change that. That’s just madness.

I mean the Director of the CDC was on TV just last month saying that a paper mask could offer him more protection than a COVID vaccine.

Then a few weeks later the CDC comes out and basically says masks are pretty useless for the wearers.

“CDC guidance on masks has clearly stated that wearing a mask is intended to protect other people in case the mask wearer is infected. At no time has CDC guidance suggested that masks were intended to protect the wearers.”

    WHAT?????

Though not the point of this study, 85% in this study who caught The Ro wore their masks always or nearly always.

It’s just a bad flu bro

It is not just a bad flu.  The mortality rate is 5-10 times higher, there is no vaccine, and it can be spread by asymptomatic infected persons.  Sweden’s trial is proving to be mistaken; their per capita mortality rate is much higher than other European countries.

I’ve already  addressed  your misconceptions about the study you cite.

The idea of masks is to hold down spread of droplets by the wearer.  That has always been a consistent position.  What the CDC Director is saying is that if we ALL wear masks right now it would be more effective than a vaccine.

Yoyr approach would kill a lot of people.  How many American citizens do you think are expendable?  Give me a number.  Or maybe the thing to do, since the elderly are more affected, is to pick an age and anyone over that age should just be humanely sacrificed now.  What age would you select?

Truth is we have no clue. CDC is making this stuff up as it goes and we eat it all up and tear each other up when they don't listen or even enforce it. We are a two sided system built by a two sided party built by two opinions. The question really is which puppeteer is controlling you and I?

if you have not read the IG FISA report, then you should.  If not the whole thing then at minimum the executive summary.  A link to the entire report is included in the first paragraph of this piece from a left leaning reporter on a left leaning site, but the article itself is a good starting point.

Do I believe any of this proves that Barack Obama directed these activities? No.  Do I believe that Barack Obama will ever face consequences for his potential involvement in any of this?  No I don't.  Do I believe that history will treat Barack Obama kindly once everything comes out on this?  No I don't.

Bongino shares an opinion that BO is the most corrupt President in US history and I agree with that assessment.  That assessment could very well change tomorrow or any day thereafter as we all pass through time.

Here's an interesting chart relating Covid-19 and state partisanship:  Covid-19 Cases and Partisanship by State since June 1, 2020

I find this one more interesting. After all i have had the flu but it never killed me and that is what matters. I believe I had Covid and that didnt kill me but truly that is all that matters. http://dangoodspeed.com/covid/state-by-state-total-deaths-by-date
