The TV broadcast showed the replay and stopped the replay to show how close it was as the ball was dead even with the sticks. The problem was from what I saw he actually contacted the ground about 5 frames ago and at that point was still extending the ball, but the ball also was still behind the line. That's what I saw, I could be wrong, but the fact that I feel I saw that is enough to say there wasn't enough evidence to overturn.
You need to take off your Bills tinted sunglasses and watch things objectively.

Very shortsighted on your part. Your talking about a young QB competing for a starting job who was having a rough gane up until that point. If he challengedit and Allen went on to have a long scoring drive the QB competition would look alot different right now. I'm fairly shocked yu and others being knowledgable fans could say such a thing.

It's a little late but the Josh Allen scramble play against Cincy that would have almost surely been a first down (if not atleast moved up nearly a full yard). And instead of challenging the play they rush their punt team on as if they were the ones afraid of a Cincy challenge. That could have been the momentum shift the Bills and Allen needed to gain some confidence and turn the game around.
Between that and the punt in the Colts game they definitely are cause for concern regarding Mcdermotts in game decision making.

Im usually a fan of the McBeane team but the QB situation should have been decided by now. They have the luxury of seeing thsm everyday in practice. It shouldnt have come to this.

Based on their NFL bodys of work up until this point I would probably go with AJ week 1. I know it's a longshot but he is basically Peterman with a little bit stronger arm and more experience. Keeping in mind we play the Ravens week 1 Im not sure we want to expose Allen to that.

Those Fox sports commercials were so painfully bad. They were over the top, suppose to be intense, and noisy. I was waiting for the Predator to jump out or something. They really need to rethink the way they do their network sports commercials. Did anyone else notice this?

I Hope in this day and age everyone is aware the Incognito has a mental illness. It appears to be a very extreme case at the moment. You cannot try to rationalize the behavior of someone who is mentally ill and not properly medicated. Hopefully his family and friends can get him on the proper medications to help save his life.

Yeh strange I have seen nothing but positives about his performance last week. I watched all of his throws and he was god awful. The one touchdown he did throw he held the ball way to long and just blindly heaved it. Looked like a steaming pile of turds tho. The only mention of the Bills game was the McCarron injury by the national media. No Love

The reason why Peterman should be the backup is he has the tools of a backup
QB. That 7 yard out that he constantly floats for the defenders to jumpmin front of is a great example of why he is not a starter in this league.
Compare that to how Allen makes that throw.

He didnt look to hot on McCarrons first play when he failed to pickup the outside blitz and the guy went untouched.

Personally I think Allen needs to sit this year. I think last night was a good example of that. Allen is exactly what his scouting report said, a strong armed QB who struggles with accuracy at times who can make throws other QBs can't. The poster boy for a young QB who needs a year to develop.
On a side note don't sleep on McCarron who in my opinion will be our starter this year.

McCarron is who your missing. I think he is Peterman with a little bit stronger arm and more experience. I will take credit in advance for naming McCarron are starter in January before he was even a free agent.

Am I the only one who noticed the 2nd string centers shotgun snaps took an awfully long time to get to the QB? I couldnt see who it was but I would imagine that threw the QBs timing off as well as gave the D an extra half second to get to the QB. It certainly needs to be addressed!

You guys have all gone a bit crazy whoever thinks we would trade a LB we just moved up for in the draft for another LB. Because that would make alot of sense. Fine me a trade like this that has ever happened.

Wasn't he pretty damn good against the run last year and had a couple of sacks? Why does everyone want to get rid of him so bad?
