  1. As you can tell i was gonna post this. Great #2 reciever. However he never worked with Gailey in KC.
  2. Chan Gailey had great sucess with Thigpen in Kansas City in 2008 (18 TDs-12INTs-3 Rushing TD's). He knows Gaileys offense. Seems like a natural pocket QB. Has a strong arm, young (25). Played in COLD weather. Was traded to Miami because the Chefs new regime paid their golden boy out the rear. Dolphins are commited to Henne. They also seem to like Pat White. Can problably be had with a 4th round pick. Great value especially considering the fairly weak QB class. Showed he can play, and played very well for Gailey just 1 year ago. I wouldn't mind him as a realistic starting QB who can come in and play right away. 1. Thigpen 2. Fitzpatrick 3. Brohm Sorry but I get a littlle excited about a young QB who knows the offense and has succeeded in it. Don't be Suprised. Flame away!
  3. Ralph forced Wade to Fire Dehaven after the music city miracle......and look at this, 10 years later our coach again.....time heals all wounds.
  4. Ralph also demanded that Dehaven be fired (and was) Water under the bridge my friend, when one persons looking for work, and the others looking to win.
  5. 1. He had great sucess in Buffalo (1995-2000) 2. Knows how to stop the run (extra important in Buffalo climate) 3. Has worked with Buddy Nix in Buffalo and San Diego 4. Very Experienced 5. Struggles a little against the pass (that's why we kept a proven secondary coach) 6. Will employ the 3-4, something I believe Nix is looking for 7. The rest of the staff has already been hired....Since we have not knowingly interviewed superbowl assistants it wouldn't add up 8. Has not been hired yet because both sides are probably trying to hammer out the details of his current contract with the UFL Just a guess, but i think this is the guy. Nix wants coaches with experience (Gailey, Dehaven......Cottrell?). For this reason I DO NOT believe we are waiting on a d-line/linebacker coach of a superbowl team. I also think that the hiring of Dehaven speaks vollumes to the fact they are not afraid to get coaches Nix and Wilson are familiar with from previous experiences in Buffalo......Back when we were good.
  6. I just find it funny we have the good ol'boys in Buffalo tryin 2 turn the franchise around. Maybe they can. It's funny to me that we have these southern boys now callin the shots in upstate NY. Just wondering how this happened.....but im sure you guys can fill me in.
  7. Now thats funny stuff-first time i laughed at how pathetic the Bills are in a while
  8. You should take your head off of Dontes chest long enough to get it checked. Because the fat slob was expecting a pass intstead of a run he should have let a 2nd string running back blow by him? I think if that was a valid excuse this whole board could be playing in the NFL. Give it up Donte fat boy Whitner is getting outplayed by a former wide reciever turned safety, a rookie, and a journeyman. Yet hes not a bust for an 8th overall pick?
  9. As long as that means whitner never steps on the field again
  10. Ive been a Bills fan for 17 years, and i never hated a player. I can say I hate donte whitner. Hes a loudmouth slob. Can someone make a lowlight real of him? Pipe in some Creed. A few plays that come 2 mind. Getn trucked over by sammy morris, the missed tackle 2day on the 76 yd td run, letting cotchery get wide open in the endzone last week, pretty much any time hes ever been on the field.
  11. Took a horrible angle on Charles 76 yd td run. Ran right past him as he was was standing right in front of charles. Go Donte! Watch the replay, that is why you have safetys on the field.....last line of defense. Whitners fat ass got smoked.
  12. Actually TMZ is reliabe. Most stuff is on film. The other stuff always turns out to be true.
  13. Zimmer is our best most realistic option. He raises the play of his team, he breaths fire, and isn't afraid to give the officials an ear full. The anti Lil Dicky Jauron.
  14. I hear what everyone is saying about getting an offensive minded guy. But let's keep in mind it has been just as long since weve had a good defense. Let's assume we have a competent GM since we hired Zimmer. So we have a great mind on the defensive side of the football and a head coach who unlike the other candidates you are mentioning, hasslet ect. Zimmer Has proved he is a great motivator and always gets the best out of his team. So now we can assume a great defensive minded, intelligent coach and a competent GM can hire a very good offensive coordinator. Maybe a Brian Billick.
  15. For 7 years Zimmer helped the cowboys have consistantly one of the best defenses in the NFL (2000-2007). Zimmer survived 4 head coaching changes during this time. Helped the Bengals have the 13th ranked D last year even without the talent. Now Bengals D is ranked fourth (after Packers game). Bengals Rank 2nd in rushing yds allowed a game. Bengals Rank 1st in Pts allowed per game 15.6. Zimmer is fairly young at 53. He has a beat the hell out of you type of personality. Very fiery coach who obviously knows how to get the best out of his players. He could easily be ours for 3 MIL a year, so he is realistic. Because no one believes royal ralphy is gonna spend 10 Mil a year. I remember being impressed with his "get the f##K out of my way" personality he has. The bengals were the featured team on HBO Hard Knocks. I just hope the Bengals keep winning or we get a solid GM. Because with the four-horseman running the show they would never be able to see that Zimmer has the talent and personality to Get Buffalo out of the Basement Once and For All. Go ahead you Jauron Desciples let me have it!
  16. Youre right don't question the coaching 4-8!
  17. Yes because Donte Whitner is always in great position. Out of position=big plays. In position=tasered and no big plays. Maybe your the one who needs to pay more attention. Im sure since Jauron got fired the tears in your eyes have been impairing your vision. Lankster needs to be on the field so we can get the liability off of it.
  18. Al Davis would never make this trade. Hmmmmm. First rounder for Richard Seymour. Randy Moss for a 4th rounder. You guys really know your football.
  19. Oakland can get a fan favorite, we get a better compliment for Fred Jackson. We all know how much Al Davis likes speed (not the drug). Give him Parrish plus a genuine thug from Oakland. We get a bigger, faster, stronger, younger running back. He has been a dissapointment so far, but so have Lynch and Parrish.
  20. Go give ur material to Leno, he could probly use it. Stick to what you know, Maury Povich Topics. Whitner Sux!
