  1. Loser-mentality.

They're 3-3. Could easily be 5-3 when they meet the Jets.

I hope the Bills don't give up as easily as the fans do.

The only loss I'm disappointed with is the Giants. I think Tyrod could've worked the magic in this game, too, but he needs to get healthy.

Your right ! we win a couple were going to the super bowl , lose a couple the team sucks . P.S tank this!!!!

  2. One could argue those teams weren't good because Matt Cassel was their qb.

Is this going to be Kyle Orton again where people try to pretend like he is something isn't? They are professional Qbs who get passed around the NFL. They are good backups and bad starters.

If Cassel becomes the starter (awful but could happen), he will play decent one game and people while talk contract extension. Then he will throw 4 ints against NE like he did last year.

He's great as a backup. But after 10 years, to expect anything more, is setting yourself up for failure.

P.S. Haley looked great with Big Ben this year and Kurt Warner in the past.

    Awesome take 100% dead on!

  3. I have not given up on EJ. I truly think the guy can still pan out if he still has the confidence in himself. The EJ we saw on the field was at least 50% due to the Marrone/Hackett era. The way they used EJ is NOT what Doug Whaley had in mind when they drafted him. Whaley has a TON of research into this guy (way more then any of us on a message board or behind a TV), and he is one of the best young minds in football. I refuse to realize that he could have whiffed that badly on the most important position on the field.

This is the best post on this thread.

  4. RE: Safety - surprising given Aaron williams isnt terribly expensive and theres nothing else tied up. they could have williams AND searcy at numbers that were in discussion for byrd alone.

RE: Spikes - not surprising. he probably felt this was his "prove it" year and wants to be rewarded. unfortunately, he proved that he isnt an every down player, despite liking his intensity.

    Great take.
