I was looking at concert tickets the other day on TM for a local show, and it seems the artists/bands can make TM not allow markups for reselling.  This concert had some tickets marked "Face Value Exchange".

How Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange Works – Ticketmaster Help

I do believe you still have to pay ticketmaster's fees on it. The original buyer also paid those fees. Never forget, giant corporations do not do things in your favor.

Contrary opinion here, Tua has them by the balls.  They've splashed out to surround the QB with weapons, with contracts that are going to look really bad in a couple years if not sooner.  If they let Tua walk, who on earth are they going to plug in that's going to give them any shot?  In terms of watching the dolphins be a bad football team, they would definitely be worse without Tua, and we can all point and laugh when they inevitably make him the highest paid QB in the league but i don't see that they have a choice.  OTOH a couple things go their way last season and they're playing KC in Miami in the warm instead of what they got, and things might look different.  They're not as far out of the paint as we make them out to be

Kirk Cousins might be available

He clearly deserves 60 million per 😈

Tua is a 100 million a season (fully guaranteed) player and he shouldn't take a cent less.

There also quite a bit of speculation given Rodgers permanently having one of the limited number of headsets and his body language / talking prior to the snap on the Jets forum(s) that he was defacto coordinator at times throughout the season once he returned from his recovery.

Give him Aaron Rodgers, and he can call a game. Give him anyone else, and it's statistically very likely that he's going to post a below average season.

What leads you to believe this? Matt Lafluer has called plays in Green bay since he arrived.

  5. ..between all the people that stopped watching from kneeling, referee favoritism, Roger Goodell being a corporate shill, and now streaming.. I have no idea how the league is surviving. It will be any day now before the NFL is done.

I have wondered about teams using drones and AI. Rumors about Jim Harbaugh’s recent cheating at Michigan included AI use. The speed at which AI works enabled them to (allegedly) make significant halftime adjustments. It’s not a stretch to think NFL teams are doing the same. Coincidentally, he has a very successful brother coaching the Ravens and I seem to remember an issue with a drone during one of their playoff games. Honestly, if teams are not already optimizing play calls and game plans through AI, then they’re probably behind the curve. Adding real time filming (drone or otherwise) is obviously against the rules, but I don’t see where AI use is. And I don’t know how teams could be caught even if it was.

I'm looking forward to the future

This thread's been up for 2 hours and not one post about Coleman making a highlight real catch with one hand while eating a cookie with the other.

    Get it together guys

He isn't practicing with the rest of the team. He's off the side working on his 40 time.

that was my first thought as well.  However… if your playoff seed is already locked (or you’re eliminated and have some regular season games left), then… maybe?

    No.

One interesting thing I read today is that, because of the way compensatory picks are calculated, the Bills may want to limit the snaps of Mike Edwards and Mack Hollins this year, because if they exceed a certain amount, it jeopardizes the two picks the Bills are scheduled to receive.

Similarly, to ensure the best chance at receiving the picks they think they'll be getting, the Bills have to hope that Tim Settle plays a lot of snaps for Houston -- but Houston is surely aware of this, too, and may limit Settle's snaps for their own compensatory pick reasons.

Just a fascinating aspect of the minutiae that goes into calculating compensatory picks. I have no idea whether or not the Bills care enough to actually limit Edwards and Hollin's snaps. To be honest, I bet they do.

No team is limiting snaps of a productive player because of a 5th round comp pick.

This isn't coming from one specific example, but collection of public appearances since the incident occurred (interviews, red carpet events, etc). He's been soaking up his time in the spotlight, and good for him personally. But this is not someone that has been humbled by a traumatic experience and now has his head down focused on football. He's a glorified celebrity that probably won't play another meaningful NFL down. I doubt we will get anything for him, and you hate to cut him PR wise, but as a football move it probably will be necessary absent a bad safety injury in camp.

I don't why they don't make another clone to do the PR stuff so the first clone can focus on football

Oh, they should have fired their HC.

You know the Eagles were in the Superbowl a year ago, right?  With a far worse QB than ours, right?

So a guy that was responsible (to some unknown degree) for drafting a far worse QB (and handing him big money) when that is by far the most important position in Football is the guy you want?

And I don't want it to sound harsh against Halaby. I think he has a fine resume for a GM, but I question your evaluation methodology. Beane has shown he can put together a consistent contender. The contention that Halaby without all of the personnel and structure already put in place by Rosemann as a 1st time GM would be able to achieve better results is hope, not something based on a reasonable expectation.
