I wouldn't even have to leave the building.
Bobby April would be a better choice, IMO.

Of the candidates that the Bills interviewed only one was highly regarded which might be why he was placed on a pedestal. Capers, Lofton, Juaron, etc. were all either failures or didn't have enough experience to really be considered a legitimate candidate. So if you're compiling a short list you could pretty much put everybody that was interviewed on it except Sherman. I'm more upset with the overall candidate pool than I am with the actual hiring of Juaron.
Dude, they didn't even talk to Haslett and he wanted the job! (And, his record in New Orleans was head and shoulders above what the Dick has done.
In short, Dick has done dick.

Sure. We passed on Charlie Weis and took the more qualified Mularkey. Now, we've upgraded again.
-
James Lofton has character, too.
-
1. Marv hired.
2. Mularkey takes a hike.
3. Bills hire Rich Kotite Jr. without a personality and apparently a staff of clowns from another circus franchise.
What next?

The reason Jauronimo was hired was his impressive track record of working with young QBs.
-
So we can look forward to Shane Matthews-look-alike Kelly Holcomb to run the offense with JP getting work in at least one series per game - to gain experience ala Cade McNown. Maybe we'll get Gary Crowton for OC. He did great for one year after he left da Bears, then he went poof!
I'm beginning to wish Marv replaced Van Miller or Paul McGuire instead of TD.
Isn't Shane Matthews with the Bills? Shane starts! Yes!

wow. talk about your fantasies.
So, it is actually a GOOD thing that Dick Jauron was a miserable, hated failure everywhere he went because that makes him more like Bill Belichek?
The only thing DJ has on his resume that got him hired was the word "Chicago" and the fact that Hall of Fame Coach Marvelous Marv Levy, your General Manager and man guiding the ship, used to watch him coach on the sidelines during the years he was begging to get back into the NFL (pleads that fell on deaf ears).
That is truly outstanding.... It's great to see that people can look at a pile of crap and see an image of the messiah in the twist and turns simply because that pile of crap has an ancient friend who wants to be comfortable and busy in his last years on earth.
He did go 13-3 in 2001 and get coach of the year.
Of course, if Mike Brown didn't return like 5 interceptions in overtime for scores, the Bears go 8-8.

Bring in the Lions staff? They did so great in Detriot, why not?

Talking about Dick...
"Simply put, expectations weren't met," Mr. Angelo said. "We're in a bottom line business. Looking at Dick's overall career record, I just didn't feel that the hope we need to move on to the next level was there."
OMG!

Frankly, I'd rather have had Haslett.

True, true. There were people on this board having orgasms when Gregg-o was hired. He was going to whip that fat, lazy team into shape and take charge!
WAHOOOOOOOO!!!

Maybe we can explore the answer to the question, "Can the Buffalo Bills sink any lower?"
Help me out here people, I'm looking for the bright side!
-
I wasn't impressed or depressed.
Of course, compared to Kay Stephenson, a pet rock would've looked OK.
-
Who cares? Jauron is a defensive genius!
-
I agree. The Bills should stock the team with all that talent from the great National Championship powerhouse teams in the Northeast!
Brilliant!!
-
We'd throw him under the bus.
Then back up, so we could run over him again!
-
Not a top organization? Really! You don't say.
The Buffalo Bills are nothing but a punchline.
-
More upside: Jauronimo is not Capers. He's only crashed and burned as head coach once.
Oh, yeah. Then there was the run for the bus gig in Detriot.
I guess Jauronimo = Capers - the fugly hair piece.
-
On the bright side, Jauronimo doesn't have to do very much to drive the Bills into the ground.

Where's the mob yelling "JUMP! JUMP!"???

I'm just happy he finally put one over on Cowher.
