Darrell Bevell should be considered. Any thoughts...Gailey is not the answer!
-
Get everyone to donate to a billboard so they don't their re-new season tix, if Gailey is hired. Hit ralph in the pocket book...I am mad @ the Chan Gailey decision...The city deserves much better...

It will be Frazier, with either Martz or Saunders as OC.
Yes!!! Frazier with Martz or Saunders would really work and then also draft a DT like T.Cody#1.
-
I would attempt to trade a 4 rounder or later & Roscoe for Billy Volek.... Why not..
-
Dan Williams from TN is another serious DT candidate.
Yes, this guy plays hard on every down..
-
I believe that Buddy Nix is waiting to interview Ron Rivera. This guy has come close interviewing over the last few years for other HC jobs. A least he would be willing to come to Buffalo.
-
If he would stop with the Bible thumping after every game it would be great.
I cannot stand players that thank God after a win. Do you think God gives two flying craps about the outcome of the football game? And moreover, why don't you every blame God after a loss? Keep the Church stuff at, well, church. It makes the reporter uncomfortable, it makes the audience uncomfortable.
How about thanking your offensive line and going to the locker room.
The world needs to be saved and so do you. God bless the Bible thumping QB....

Trade him now Buddy. Just think we could have taken Chris Johnson. Marv missed on this gang bang wanna be. You can take the man out of the hood - you know the rest......

Using Draft Tek's Simulator here, I have run a simulation of the 2010 draft. The first picks were as follows:
1 1 St Louis Ndamukong Suh DT43 Nebraska
1 2 Detroit *Gerald McCoy DT43 Oklahoma
1 3 TBay *Eric Berry FS Tennessee
1 4 Wash *Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame
1 5 K City Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State
1 6 Seattle *Joe Haden CB Florida
1 7 Cleveland *Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma
1 8 Oakland Brandon Spikes ILB Florida
1 9 Buffalo ?
It's now our first pick. Who do you take? I'll put the results back into the simulator, and re-run it after we take the majority choice.
You're On The Clock. Your time limit is until 10:00EST. Enjoy.

do u think jimmy johnson would ever want to have a role similar to what parcells does in miami?
I posted this same idea 2 weeks ago.. I agree .

OR
1 TERRENCE CODY DT
2 BRANDON GRAHAM DE
3 TONY PIKE QB
4 OLB
5 DE
6 C/G
7 WR
Mount cody is the man! great first 3 picks..

This would be a great pick IF:
The Bills got McNabb/Kolb/some other potentially availible QB/Brohm is the second coming of Johnny U the last two games
Bills sign Marcus McNeil to play LT
Bills sign Logan Mankins to play G
Bills sign Merriman to play DE
Bills sign Wilvork to play DT
Bills sign D. Johnson/T. Howard/T. Davis to play LB
Butler and Wood are back to 90%+ by end of training camp
Until that is done, this pick blows
EDIT: Wait, he still has us passing on Cody, Baluga (the future best RT in football IMO), along with many quality DTs and Gs... Id be pissed with that pick even with that dream list of prospects...
I agree with most of your suggestions.

Cannot blame him, this team has won anything since he jioned them. He must be disaapointed, but he has millions in the bank. Good luck....in New England.
-
The Bills should try to get David Carr. He has 8 years in the league and played behind a terrible line early in his career, now he has sat behind Eli for about 4 years and can make all the throws. I think if he has the protection he could be the comeback player and the QB who was drafted #1 for a reason. We really don't have much to lose, sign him cheap...

I simulated your draft with DraftTek's Simulator.
Round 1: DT Gerald McCoy was already selected at #4 by Detroit, and so I went with DT Terrence Cody (would have been taken 17th by Miami).
Round 2: LT Bruce Campbell of Maryland was grabbed by Washington right before our pick, so I had to reach for LT Selvish Capers of WVU. He would have been drafted by Seattle at #45.
Round 3: QB's are thin in this round, but I got QB Tony Pike of Cincinnati, who we think will go around #82. Jevan Snead is right in that same area, and was actually our draft's pick for Buffalo in the 4th Round.
Round 4: MLB in this round is not as easy as OLB: OLB Michael Morgan of USC should be the pick. You hate Poz?
Round 5: You have your choice of DE's here: DE Ryan Kerrigan of Purdue or DE Dekoda Watson of Florida State. We have Kerrigan slightly ahead of Watson.
Round 6: Best OL is junior OC Ryan McMahon at Florida State. I like the DE junior *Jason Pierre-Paul from USF here, too. If you did this, you could get Joe Pawelek ILB in Round 5 and junior OT Jarriel King of South Carolina in Round 4...
Round 7: Best DL here is likely to be DT Lamarr Houston of Texas unless he shines in the championship game or combine.
Cody is a beast, we would be lucky to get him and all these player could help this francise.
Nice draft and some things to think about!

DT
OT
I agreed with this philosphy. We need the OL/DL to free up skill players.

I would say we are very unlikely to take a QB any sooner than 3rd round...if that, unless someone slips big time. Brohm is a #1 pick talent that we got for pennies...he hasnt had a chance to play yet. Why on earth would we not give a number pick type talent a chance to play (who is making chump change compared to what a early First round QB would be making) before we waste a high pick on another?
In all honesty, if Brohm was in this years draft he would most likely be the #1 QB taken...and yet we got him for next to nothing.
If the FO is smart, they go OL in round 1, and then go defensive front 7 round 2 (or maybe even OL again if the right player is there)...no need to waste a first and second on a QB now that we have a guy of Brohms potential.
Doesnt mean Brohm will be great, but he has as much if not more upside than just about any QB in this years draft. Not to mention he has a cannon for an arm and was very accurate in college.
I agree with just about everything in this post. Especially, the part about the draft..We need to build strong OL/DL for the next 2 or 3 years or no QB will have a legitimate shot to lead this team..
-
I like Grimm a lot. Personally I think the money that would be spent on a "big name" coach should instead go into getting a top GM/personnel evaluator and a bigger and better scouting department.
I agree with this post.. Skip the Big Name Coach.

What about Jimmy Johnson, he needs to come out of retirement. He still can coach, he is only 66 y/o . At least he would be a quick fix for the next five years then turn the team over to someone hand picke don his staff. Any thought? I am not crazy just looking for a wimneer out there!!!

Take Mount Cody! Sure up the Def. Line
1 on 1 with Chan Gailey

Tebow & the spread are good for the Bills. I actually like Nix , he sure doesn't look or act 70 y/o . He is a good football man -That is what we need especially during the draft. No more Maybin type one year wonder picks that for sure....
