  1. Bills fans would never send that text because it happened during a conference championship game
  2. Frazier sounds like Jauron 2.0. No fire, no passion. We need a real in your face coach because a lot of the young guys on this team have never been pushed to their potential. They've had it too easy for too long. Another mild-mannered coach would be a waste of time in my opinion.
  3. This may not be a popular position but I think the Bills have a good chance at getting Jason Campbell from Washington, he has fallen out of favor with the owner and if he hasn't impressed Shanahan he may look to go in a different direction at qb. I think Campbell is better than advertised and could make the Bills competitive next year. I would then draft Tebow in the second round and groom him for 2-3 years to take over the starting job, but a slow process a la Philip Rivers and Aaron Rogers. We could then use Tebow in Wildcat formations while we groom him for the starting job.
  4. Sorry all that **** happened to you tipster but just think, it could be worse, it could have happened to me! Why is your wife so slow? The same reason Helen Keller is a terrible driver.....because she's a woman!
  5. I agree. The only time you don't talk about something is when you are in negotiations. I'm not saying Cowher is coming to Buffalo for sure, but I am convinced that he is in some type of negotiations about salary or player control or some sticking point for him to be HC. Based on what? Simply based on the fact he has not out right denied his candidacy for the position and he didn't talk about it at all on CBS yesterday.
  6. I completely disagree. He found ways to win games but everyone was so hung up on his size and his age and they couldn't see the forest through the trees. The fact is, he was a winner. He was also the last quarterback to take us to the playoffs! Hello!? Yeah great decision to go with Rob "Ow, my ribs" Johnson, that really worked out for us. Flutie was winning games and had years left. We could have drafted a young qb and brought him along slowly while Flutie continued to win games for us until he retired as a Bill.
  7. Ed McCaffrey 6-5 215, Wes Welker 5-9 185. I always get those guys confused...
  8. I don't think McNabb would come here if we resigned TO. Just a thought
  9. I'm not a lawyer but I believe it would be categorized as some form of Obstruction of Justice. Also, just because Maybin tweeted it doesn't mean he didn't also report it to the police.
  10. Where do they find you people? Rob Johnson was the worst quarterback ever to play in the NFL. If you remember it was Flutie who came in and turned around the Bills '98 season after Johnson screwed it up showing his ineptitude as a quarterback. Flutie came in and instantly made everyone around him better and carried the team to the playoffs. Then he did the same thing the following season until they put Johnson in in the playoffs. That game never would have come down to a music city miracle if Flutie had started over Johnson IMO because Johnson routinely missed receivers on third downs, stalling drives and doing what he did best, get sacked! Starting Johnson over Flutie that game and running Flutie out of town was the WORST WORST WORST thing this franchise has ever done and listening to all you RJ homers is making me sick!
  11. So in one instance DJ clearly should have run and in the other instance DJ clearly should have passed and since he tried to win two different games two different ways and it didn't work out either time, he is an idiot. Hindsight is 20/20 and you can't sit here and say "he should have done this instead of that" when you have examples that contradict each other and neither one of them worked out. DJ and the Bills seemed snake-bit last year when it came to making pivotal plays late in games to get the win, no matter what they did, it didn't work out. It wasn't that the play calling was that bad, we just couldn't execute when the game was on the line. Chalk it up to inexperienced players and a first year OC. Now that the Bills have TO to open up the offense and we have filled some holes on defense, we should be a lot better and shouldn't be involved in such tight games. If we go 7-9 again then Trent, Turk and Dick will probably be shown the door. From a talent point of view, 2009 is the most complete roster the Bills have had (except maybe OTs) in the DJ era and Trent is more experienced and Turk has a full season under his belt at OC, which is why this is a make or break year for everyone.
