  1. Could I venture to guess that you're an a**hole? F*G? C**KS**KER?, Sure I could venture that and much more, but honestly I don't know you. What I do know is that you have no opinion on the original post, or atleast none that you'd like to share, perhaps you're a Muslim in private? Eh it doesn't matter. As for me being crazy, if that's true then Mike Tyson, Tanya Harding, Ryan Leaf and Paul Verlaine are crazy too? Hmph! Hogwash!
  2. Sensorship is insane, this is your mind on no sleep and too many headlines folks. Sanity is based upon society, those who can determine medical sanity are the news priests of our times. Am I a touch crazy, yeah I think so. But at least I not crazy. (Going to admit that joke sucked).
  3. by the way david bowie isn't fooling anyone, the man who sold the world...is a hugh mearns poem, and hugh mearns isn't fooling me anymore he stole that poem from Tristan Corbiere.... Oh also, The Fisher King was good...but Blownaway was horrible...
  4. As I was going up the stair I saw a man who wasn’t there He wasn’t there again today Oh, how I wish he’d go away... When I came home last night at three The man was waiting there for me But when I looked around the hall I couldn’t see him there at all! Go away, go away, don’t you come back any more! Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door... (slam!) Last night I saw upon the stair A little man who wasn’t there He wasn’t there again today Oh, how I wish he’d go away That is my reply sir...that is my reply
  5. And so are you sir...So are you... Hey does anyone else remember the movie Tron? How about Thunderbolt and Lightfoot? OOO ooo OOO, how about Starman? I'll give you a hint They all star Jeff Bridges and they all suck...I'd site the rest of his films but I did like KPAX(I feel sick now that I said that, even as a joke that hurt me)
  6. Yeah..you got me I made a clever Headline, then sited an actual event then stated a position based upon recent events all because I was trying to lure The Neil Patrick Harris out of his Hyundai Tiburon(not sure on spelling)... You caught me
  7. LOL, sadly enough...it's so true. I used to read alot so much of what I know is stuff I learned when I was freakishly productive...now I spend my days trying to figure out whether Trent Edwards is worth the Bill Walsh phone call to Marv. I hope so Oh and I only saw that movie once...I have a great memory, too bad I use it to remember the number of lane marks there are on my way to work...29,992...no wait 993...it's a evolving answer I suppose
  8. The entire point of this thread was to poke fun at the fact that headlines are not reflections of truth, but rather reflections of a popular cultural trend. I'm dearly sorry you didn't get it. Muslims, Christians and all the rest believers of faiths...the terrorists that we read of are everywhere. The IRA is back and they are...Christian, killing 3200 since the 1980's and that's more than any Arab nation has done on any western nation. Wake up and smell the oil, 1977 changed our climate for tolerance. The Iron Sheik became a popular character of hate...Hulk Hogan, Sgt. Slaughter...GI F**King Joe and everything since has been a slow political IV Drip into our media bloodstream.... Practice what we should be teaching our children. Start waving the flag because you relate to it, not because suddenly it's popular. Paul Mooney said it best, "Most of yall' mother!@#$a's forget about god until someone says I have a God too...then you cut him off and get offended that someone is talking about a God that isn't yours...Children grow up, we need to stop chasing the toys that we got tired of only because someone else took interest. Anyway white folk forgot about got until 9/11...I aint ever heard that many white folk crying Oh my God since OJ got free..."
  9. I'm trying to leave work quickly, so I'm sorry I'm typing very fast(which might cause some errors), by the way did you goto Cornell? The f**k off! Phins fan? wears your Marino jersey buddy? I live here but aint from here, I was born in Costa Rica pal. I loved Jim Kelly because he was a MIAMI HURRICANE QB, because of him I began to love the bills because they are a tough team who kept fighting no matter what(huh kinda like a bunch of muslims...odd) So why don't you READ my posts instead of trying to glance through them like the paperbacks you're used to. As for writing and grammer, you pop off thoughts and ideas after 12 hours shift in a freezing hospital buddy. One last question, do all of your replies have such intelligence and logic? "Don't outlaw guns, upgrade our schools, for real"
  10. Um the Pirate joke..was a joke..so I was "lightend up", so f*ck off Francis and make sure thank Lee Van Cleef for his role in Escape from New York, and tell him I noticed he was missing part of his middle finger. I mean I noticed it in the Good, The Bad and The Ugly but I noticed it more in Escape from New York because he kept dialing that f*cking phone all the time... Eh, too much?
  11. Executing? since when has a "fundamentalist" done such a thing on U.S. soil? Hmmm...John Andre perhaps? The "Revolutionaries" executed british soldiers and "loyalists" all the time. The point was to READ, if you'd done that you'd notice that it was a post meant to state the all people commit horrid crimes for reasons that are EXTREME, the fact is the average colonial revolutionary and the average muslim share something in common, that being: small groups murdered and commited acts of violence while the average just lived their lives. It's quite simple really, I know EXECUTING the equation 2+2 is difficult for some folks but bare with me, Muslims aren't terrorists, small groups of "Fundamentalists" of various religions are. So put down the American flag you started waving when 9/11 happend and start waving the one that hung above you your entire life, stop reading the bumber stickers on the car ahead of you, or trailer in some of your cases and start reading the facts... Christian, Muslim, Hindi, Buddhist, Daoist and whatever...it's people not faiths that commit crimes...oh yeah stop watching "Mama's Family" me thinks her views on society are rubbin off on ya sir
  12. Snake is it? Would you trade ugh nevermind..you're obviously not aware how many Muslim's are in sports...nor are you aware that much like snake when a pirate wore a patch over his left eye meant he was a coward, meaning a former captain who had been defeated by another crewman and banished to being his "do boy"... but it still looks good though, coughs
  13. Way to turn a thread based upon something important into the ever so intellectual chimp scratching head gesture...But yes, I do think we should trade Peters...this draft is loaded with OT's and this board filled is speckled with morons here and there... "You gonna eat that stappler"?
  14. Madonna only weighs in on matters concerning her beloved England, international child adoption laws and sometimes her always changing yet strangely fascinating music career...Chris Rock was more relevant in this context, so would be quoting Portnoy's Complaint...which should we rid ourselves of first..the love or the hate? We need education control, not gun control, we need culture control not control over the sales of inanimate object which have no feeling, religion, cultural concepts and no consequences...from now on lock up the offender and the weapon on far away cells, that ought to teach them both a lesson I suppose. Get real, learn to control your children and not instruments designed to inflict pain. Might as well rid ourselves of the kitchen knife, the candlestick holder(clue reference), lengths of rope and well everything....because pretty much anything can kill you... Control the person, not the object.
  15. Each day we are awakened to channels changing, pages turning and charming voices explaining to us what is modern, up to date, current and or immediate. Their facetious nature alerts us on what we should be briefed on before starting our respective day(s). The words "Muslim kills, slays and murders" is a common phrase in which we are greeted by our daily press advertisements. Usually the description of one’s religion is a mood point at such a horrid juncture, but our sensitive media outlets seem to take the focus off the act and instead place the blame upon a religion. The event in question did in fact happen, On April 7th 1712 in New York City a slave revolt led to the deaths of nine citizens as well as resulting in "serious injuries" of 23 "others". That was the head line the very next morning in "The Specter", and none of the penetrating intellects of the time saw this as anything other than act of TERRORISM. Quotations, excerpts from illustrations, publications can be seen throughout advertised history. Western society has enemies local and abroad, so instead of extending and olive branch of peace, we clinch the arrow within our talons and further fanning the flames of frustration and fascination. Today Western Civilization I.E. The United States of America, chooses it's enemies based upon political, financial and cultural rifts. During the 1930's and 40's we saw our headlines intoxicated with slandering of German customs, citizens, public figures and political officials. During the 1950's we turned our attentions away from the vanquished enemy and now to an enemy threatening our right, nay our predestined duty to rule as Caesar. That enemy was "Mother Russia", aka "The" USSR, Communist Russia and last but not least Ally...do remember that little conflict known as "World War II"? Russia was our "Ally" of the moment. But when the pages of history turned and began to be written our ally soon turned into foe, and the publications began rolling of the presses. Ladies, Gentlemen...do remember that Hear Ye, Hear Ye!, Now hear this! Now hear this! Have always littered the streets far before the advent of the streetcar. Yesterday was another historical day just like any other, thousands of events happen on days without keeping in consideration that others must one day reference it in relevance to whatever we find uncommon today. A Muslim killing someone somewhere with something because sometimes PEOPLE lose control. Firearms, side arms, assault weapons, handguns and any other instrument we have become enlightened to it's deadly presence is not the culprit. It has never been, never will be either and that is always going to be true. No matter what face you place upon your take one thing is always true, the conversing and decision made, are made by me and you-Guess who penned that phrase? Muslim(s), Islam and the Quran are the enemy of this generation, I mean what a perfect distraction. Once our "Allies" in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and everywhere in the Arab world now they are our sworn enemies. Is it religion that makes us hate them? Is Muhammad so evil? I mean seriously icons of religion have all sorts of faces, names, stories, ideals and laws but how is it a wandering carpenter, a man who spoke to those who needed council, a man who spoke of one God...No folks I am not talking about Muhammad, I'm talking Jesus of Nazareth. Muhammad essentially did the same things, he was a divine prophet much like Jesus, not the son of God which no man who has lived can claim and non alive can deny, like that quote? It's the word of God according to the Christian Bible, you can see these words clearly because they are highlighted in RED. Point is folks, each day we fool ourselves into hating something we don't understand, we make grave mistakes by entertaining our most evil fascinations. We let people reading a series of descending words on a Teleprompter tell us what to think and feel each morning. Jesus, Muhammad, Elohim, Jehovah, Allah and Vishnu, Buddha and all the other names, concepts that cultures have for their chosen deity of unearthly spiritual entity, all just names. Faith is what gives meaning to these names, gives it the pride that we have confidence in. The Quran is nothing more than an UNEDITED Bible, the Torah is nothing more than an EDITED Quran, regional dialects, languages and customs cause for their names and meaning to take different feels and shapes, but the fact is Islam, Hebrew, Christian are all cousins...who honestly hate one another. It's old land rights, it's the ever essential argument that my dad can beat up your dad. Obviously it's much more complex than that, but here is point folks Why do you label a Muslim as the terrorist? Timothy James McVeigh killed 168 Americans' because of his political and religious beliefs yet why did I not see Christian murders 168! Terrorist kills 168! Due remind yourselves that "Quakers" were terrorists in colonial times, to the victor go the spoils I suppose. Paint it anyway you want, they look weird perhaps...they smell funny...their customs are different than ours...their language is odd...they are extremists who try to push their religion and society on others...Ahem I was talking about Western Civilization which is infact a religion, look it up. We serve but only one God, be his name Benjamin or to a more common name we know him as, George. George Washington once lobbied to be king and king he is now, king of Sodom by way of a rectangular piece of cotton clothed paper. Muslims kill, Christians Kill, Buddhists kills...the fact is that people kill. I hope one day that the animal kingdom finds use for what we leave behind, maybe a printing press finds it's way into the hands of some curious chimp who evolution gifts with the first genetic anomaly which gives birth to this profound headline of the future..."Lion attacks Antelope, beware felines everywhere..." Grow a brain, read a book, open your eyes, smell the coffee or take a walk in the clouds WE are all here upon this wretched rock until our eyes close...I have my beliefs, they will not falter in the face of what other impose upon me, I suggest you do the same, no matter what you believe in. What have you learned? Something good I hope.
  16. Ah reviving "Stone Cold" Steve "Austin"...Are you serious? "The Condemned" My best guess is you watch Nash Bridges alot don't ya buddy? You see it's funny how if you are just a bit optimistic or realistic a swarm of malcontents pop-up out of the wood works to try to offer their opinion, which is never really an opinion. It's usually a series of horrid remarks that stem from their love of television shows, movies, things they saw on billboards or even perhaps things that fictional characters on a "sports" soapopera say as their catchphrase...point is that last guy, rode the short bus, his momma drove, his daddy worked on it and much like him, he wants us all to be doomed to the short bus, atleast as fans... So put down the can-o-beer, maybe get rid of the mullet and stop Tvo-ing "Mama's Family" or just stop Tvo-ing TBS...just stop it!
  17. Lets just say April fools day isn't the only thing getting on peoples nerves today...
  18. I agree, ask alot of people I like Trent. I think if he is given time to develope he could be very, very special. His accuracy and his ability is too much to overlook. I want him to stay, but if they traded him to Denver I'd be happy for two reasons. He gets to goto a team he can flurish with and we get Jay F**King Cutler!!!
  19. This draft is being labled as a lineman draft, you can go wrong so I won't say "You can't go wrong" but with talent in every round(even in the projected 5th round), we are seeing guys who can be starters and potential probowlers. In this draft alone I can see 8 future probowlers on the line. As a front office we need to address our situation based upon the talent available, attitude and potential. Do they fit with our system? Do they have injury issues? Do they have attitude issues? Can they start right away? Can they keep their weight under control? Point is this draft is LOADED with linemen ready to make an impact in the NFL, I just hope we pick a few to groom ourselves. Do I have my popcorn, yup! If we traded for Cutler I'd sit in the front row with a garbage bag full of popcorn!
  20. The 2009 NFL Draft first overall selection is...Jay Cutler, but by who? A Quarterback coming off a Pro Bowl year, under age 26, with a laser arm and progressing accuracy...What teams can pursue him(realistically), based on need and trade leverage. I see it as follows New York Jets want him badly, with Boss Cook as his agent the Jets' should be familiar with these talks. The Jets' have three power selections, perhaps five to offer(not all together but in combination). They have the 17th,52nd,76th overall this year to go along with 1st, 2nd and 3rd round selections next year. To get him they will most likely have to give the 17th this year,115th this year and a 2 or 3rd next year. For a ProBowler, in his prime, with a laser arm and even greater potential he is worthy of that ransom. Minnesota Vikings could package Rosenfels(who fits McDaniels system) the 22nd,158th and a 3rd next year to pick him up. I honestly see this trade not happening but this has the "you never know" factor, front offices like to shock their fans and their coaches. A team with amazing fire power is Philadelphia, they have 4 5th round selection, two 1st round selections and Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb to throw into the mix. Trading Donovan to a third team and trading Kolb to Denver coupled with the 22nd, a 5th rounder and a conditional selection next year, while in turn getting another 2nd and a conditional selection next year would be the most logical trade. But it wont happen(likelyhood less than 10%) So the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Bucs and Detroit Lions are the only ones with need and firepower to pull it off, motivation just NYJ and TB...but could Buffalo be in this race? We have the 11th, 42nd, 75th and Trent Edwards to offer(an accurate passer who's armstrength wouldn't be a problem in the milehigh atmosphere of well Mile High...I think we have a 30% of considering this trade with reality. We have T.O. and we have the most dynamic receivers in the AFC, sorry New England we too have an aging future Hall of Famer, we too have the slot(Josh Reed), we too have another probowler(Lee Evans), we too have another vertical red zone threat(James Hardy)...wait...New England only has the aging future hall of famer and the possesion receiver...but they have Tom Brady(Montana of his time by the way)...so if we add Jay Cutler the AFC title race just got that much more interesting, the Bills would be a lock for playoffs and the most explosive offense in the AFC if not the NFL... Question is, do we get rid of Trent before he has proven what he can do with this talent he has been surrounded with? I think Trent's upside puts him in the upper mention of QB's in the league, but Cutler has the arm and the proven product we need now...I would pull this trade right now, giving the 11th and the 154th with a 3rd next year along with Trent Edwards for Jay Cutler...
  21. Busts are difficult to define. They get placed with this tag for various reasons, be it production, off-field disruptions, injury or team direction. Some teams are just horrib environments for growing talents, for years Cincinnati, Arizona, St.Louis, New Orleans and Cleveland ended careers before they began. Tim Couch, David Carr & Joey Harrington are perfect examples of teams with poor offensive lines, poor receiving corps, poor front offices, horrid culture and bad team direction. Mike Williams & Aaron Gibson are prime examples of amazing physical linemen whose size dictated their abilities in the NCAA but once placed in the NFL where the in game assignments were far more stressing they found themselves "ballooning" out of shape the way their bank accounts "Ballooned" as soon as they arrived in the NFL. Charles Rogers, David Terrell and Peter Warrick are examples of once again bad organizations with bad directions. Charles Rogers was billed as the next Randy Moss because of his speed and vertical abilities but several injuries and poor direction by the front office killed that selection. David Terrell came to the Bears after they'd given up on Cade McNown too early and before Lovie Smith took over with the "team first" directive. Terrell could have been a "good receiver" but I don't think he was capable of producing at the spot he was taken. And Peter Warrick was a Bengal, nuff said. Running backs are products of where, when and who...Lawrence Phillips was an amazing talent with a bad attitude who was drafted by a bad team with a bad direction. It was just a chemical disaster waiting to take place, KiJana Carter was a productive player from a prestige school, but his talent was not meant for the NFL. His "breakaway" speed was seen as flawed at the combine and his ability to shed tacklers was nonexistant. The fact is when you draft a player you must take into consideration reality, is our team moral good? if not then I must draft a player who is mentally capable of handling the frustrations that come with the current climate. Is my offensive line poor? do I have a second option or a primary option at that position I.E. Quarterback and or Wide Receiver, which are positions that require seasoning and experience to be successful at this level when coupled with poor teams. Busts are just the wrong number in the wrong place in a math equation...putting the wrong player in the wrong place always ends up with a result that has the teacher cleaning the chalk board to start all over again...so hopefully this year we don't make the same mistakes and our numbers add up...cross your fingers...
  22. What's up lucks! Its my first post, so im content with it. As for someone saying Im smoking crack and not jauron, that's laughable, come on lets be for real Im a pot kind of guy lol. Yo lucks Im coming up there for the game bro, see ya then Here is an interesting quote we should all remember..."Playoffs? You wanna talk about Playoffs?"
  23. Facts are facts, we were 7-9 last year. The addition of T.O., a more experienced Trent Edwards, DEPTH added in the draft and POTENTIAL starters after the draft through free egency. Listen I know things look bleak but we havethe same chance as the Giants did a few years ago. We have the same chance as the Cardinals did, we have almost as good as a receiving group as they have. Our defense has some holes, but the question is are we going to show up the stadium just to watch them get beat? No we're showing up in the hopes that we can win. Don't be optimistic, be real. We have a good football team, lets see if we can take the next step.
  24. Okay so veterans how can help us won't be released? Let me quote David Alan Greir on this one "Negro please, Have you lost yo' Da*n Mind?"
