  1. the only kick i remember him missing was against Cleveland Monday night. I'm sure he missed a few more but that's the only one worth remembering. I have seen him kick a few to win or secure games at the end of the game.

I agree. However that miss was more about the play calling and field posistion. There is a huge lake at that end of the field with bad weather blowing in. Dick and Turk totaly messed up the play calling.....

  2. I agree 100%. I liked trent and thought Gailey was gonna fix him but that never happened. I have to believe that what we thought Chan was going to do with Trent he is doing with Fitz. Chan is got a great pupil in Fitz an he has been calling some great plays. Fitz also has the confidene to check off and call the deep ball to Lee which is nice to see.....

We may be looking for a QB but if this keeps up I can see us going D next draft in the first...an QB in the 2nd

  3. What a play at the end of the game to secure the loss by Shawn Nelson! He literally may have saved the entire season with that fumble.

In a week where Carolina and Cleveland suffered key victories, the Bills now stand alone atop the draft mountain.

The Ravens clearly got caught asleep at the wheel. They were already looking past Buffalo, and couldn't take them seriously. The Bills, on the other hand, were fired up and motivated by all this UFL talk.

Don't fool yourself into thinking that Fitzpatrick is the answer or that this team is on the doorstep of something great, they still need to rebuild entirely.

The Bills gave their best effort today, and the Ravens gave one of their worst - and it still wasn't enough to get a win.

This team is miles away and desperately needs that number one draft pick. Thank you Shawn Nelson for getting us one step closer.

Seriosly GO AWAY! You are a the last thing this board needs! Why would you praise a Loss? Your not a Bills fan GO AWAY

  4. He got beat 4-5 times that I saw, but none where the crowd would have shouted, "Olay"....

Seems far more athletic than Green, that's a given. His development may be the main reason Wang is being worked at Guard now. Howard may be starting for a while as long as he continues to develope.

    Exactly

  5. In the 3 weeks that Fitz played, the defense gave up 38, 38, and 36 points I believe it was. During those 3 weeks, the highest point total any team in the NFL gave up and still got the win was 28.

Blaming Fitz for these losses is nuts. Maybe if the defense didn't give up so many points there wouldn't be any "garbage time" and 20 or 30 points would be enough to win.

I know we're not used to this. In the last 4 years our defense would keep us in games but our offense was so bad we couldn't win them. Now it's the opposite. Our offense is good and our defense can't keep up in any games.

The offense is OK. Our defense is horrible. That's why we're losing.

Personally, I can forgive a handful of ugly passes during a game if you give me 7 TDs and 2 picks and 70 points in 3 games. There are no style points in football.

Our D is awful.. I agree but we sucked on ST last week and the O does not ave the talent for a shoot out

  6. My "inside source", FWIW, at One Bills Drive, told me a few years ago (after TD was fired) that it was announced to the staff that Jim Kelly would "be around" the offices a lot more, working for the team in some un-named, unspecified capacity. They were assured that he would not be a coach, but given very little other information. The presumption was that he was going to be a sort of "apprentice-GM". But now, who knows, maybe Mr Wilson was making an arraingement for Kelly to learn all the day to day ins and outs of owning a team, up close?

BTW- doubt my story, but I had at least two folks who "lurk" here PM me at the time, asking how I knew about this. It was supposed to be "top secret". I didn't divuldge my source.

I have heard that both him and Thurman are "ambassadors" for the bills, for the tune of 250k. I also heard the JK was spending a lot of time at 1BD

  7. I think folks like TG and jw should be given zapping rights, someone gets to disrespectful or bothersome, zap, out of here, like a bug.

I suppose Lori already has zapping rights and If I was her I would be lit up like a giant bug zapper right about now.

I agree Dog! The board is a lot to moderate.

  8. There is a difference between "my feelings are hurt, I'm taking my ball and going home", and "These retards aren't worth the time."

You all should consider that. "These retards aren't worth the time." Coming from a drunk hack AP writer who's entire career is built on riding Jerry Sullivan's coat tails. Doesn't exactly say a lot about you bozos, does it?

And this post does not say a lot about you does it... This is why TG and JW left, stupid posts like this that attack them personally :censored:

  9. Come on. At some point, we have to stop defending one position for compensating for another position with this talent-less football team. Do you really think Clay Matthews would not have an impact at outside linebacker if the Bills would have drafted him this past spring??? Or do you really think that Brian Cushing would get blown off the line or over-persue as much as Poz does if the Bills would have drafted him? Poz is over-rated. Sure he runs his butt off out there, but he does not have the strength to hold up inside, and he is not an impact linebacker. For all you or I know, Kyle Williams suffers for having Poz play behind him! Nobody is without fault when they play for a defense giving up over 200 yards rushing a game.:bag:

Or....put Kyle Williams in front of the linebackers they have in Pittsburgh or Baltimore, and he's a pro-bowler.

    From Rumblings

Because of the way George Edwards is scheming Williams at nose tackle, Posluszny is still having to deal with guards getting to him at the second level, which is pretty much the opposite of what most expected would happen coming into the season. Poz is struggling to get off blocks and getting caught in the wash very frequently, and the run defense results have obviously been poor.

  10. Thanks for the great reply. I guess what stumped me most was an offseason where we didn't address the most glaring needs we had at OL, OLB, and QB. Just kind of odd to make those secondary concerns. I wish I had more optimism going forward.

QB none were very good after the #1 pick Bradford

We drafted 2 LB's and we needed help on the D line 4 pics on D. Chan has said that he likes Bell and they did not need a LT.. An I have to belive they had no idea how bad Green was going to be. Ed Wang will come along and be a solid RT
