Less than a month after the Bengals selected Alabama offensive tackle Andre Smith sixth overall in the 2009 NFL Draft, the team released Jones on May 6, 2009. Did Kirk Chambers die or something? Why would D. Bell, who never started a game last year, have more of an opportunity to be one of our starting offensive linemen when Kirk Chambers is still on the team? IMO Chambers held his own the first two weeks in place of Jason Peters last year, so wouldn't the obvious solution be to plug him in there for now?

Thats what civilized humans should do, but Marshawn's use to running people over...he did what he always does, just keeps going. On a serious note though, the whole gun charge was bad, but I'm over it. What do we think the Bills will do about those first 3 games? I sort of skimmed through the past couple of pages because its mostly people discussing the legal issues of marshawn's arrest, so I might have missed something. But what do people suspect will be our solution to Marshawn missing the first 3 games? We have Freddy, Omon, and Hall on the practice squad. I think if we bring Bruce Hall in from the practice squad, have Freddy start, and rotate in Omon and Hall, we could easily get through those first 3 games. Now that we have Evans, Owens, Reed, and *hopefully* a new stud tight end, we could put more emphasis on the pass during those games, while still giving those 3 RB's (mostly freddy) a decent rotation of run plays. That and we will probably draft a RB in one of the later rounds of the draft, leaving us with another option as well. I think Ellison starting at outside linebacker the whole season is more of a liability than not having marshawn for 3 games. I honestly think I would be disappointed to see them bring in a RB instead of bringing in a LB when they had a chance.

We already knew Marshawn wasn't going to be around for that game, and even if he was to play in that game we'd still probably be fu<ked. Do we really need to sign a RB for 3 games? It kills me to see how the Bills let some of those free agent LB's sign one year contracts with other teams when thats the position we could really use help at, but we'd sign a RB to a 1 year deal for 3 games? I just hope now that the they've announced his suspension, the Bills will finally throw Freddy some money. There's no doubt in my mind that he can run for over 100 yards in each of those first 3 games. Bottom line - Appeal it and move on, be excited because T.O.'s in town and working out

Doesn't matter how you slice it...this cop is clearly a di<k. I understand at first he might have been concerned for his life, but after about 15 minutes of them explaining, nurses coming out, and an off duty cop pleading for Moats and his family, dont you think he could have just stopped writing the ticket? Put yourself in Moats shoes, what if that was someone in your family? Moats was more compliant than I ever would have been. I just don't get it, cops serve and protect citizens..and that's great, but what, they don't have any common sense or morals?

IMO, I think T.O. will enjoy being in Rochester (Specifially Pittsford) during training camp. T.O. is more than welcome to come hang out with me and my buddies at The Pittsford Pub. I just hope while hes there he doesnt pull a Hargrave and roid out and punch a cop in the face. We should just be thankful camp isn't in Fredonia anymore, then he'd really be disappointed with the nightlife. Chippewa, as noted before, isnt any longer than maybe half a mile. Theres nothing downtown except for a bunch of D-Bags that hang out down there. Personally, I don't care if T.O. has bars to go out to or not, I just want him to put some points on the board. Last year Marshawn actually brought some girl out to J.P. Bullfeathers on Elmwood. Unfortunetly, the bouncer wouldn't stop riding his di<k so marshawn left after about 5 minutes. He then re-entered the bar, which got kids excited again, only to grab his credit card he forgot, and then left again. Needless to say, that bouncer was fired the following day. If T.O. really needs a martini that bad id suggest he goes to Applebees, I heard they have great decor and ambiance.
