I was exploring the web for a link I saw last season and he did make a comment to the press that he was going to play one more season then hang them up.
Perhaps some team believe his heart is not in the game any longer.
I would love Derrik Brooks for a year.A leader on the field,he would make sure everybody is lined up in the right position to make a play.Nobody knows the cover 2 better.Could not hurt to bring into training camp, atleast have a look.

Tinoisamoa Still A Possibility: Rams free agent LB Pisa Tinoisamoa is visiting with the Bears today and also has a visit setup with the Eagles. He visited with the Bills last week. According to ESPN.com's Tim Graham the Bills are still in the hunt for his services and Tinoisamoa will decide between the three teams after he finishes his visits. He would likely move right into the starting lineup at linebacker, replacing Keith Ellison, if he signed with the Bills.

He's a BACKUP.
If he were further down the depth chart, he would be a candidate to be released. He is currently the STARTER. He has been the starter, due to injury, for the past two years. If the coaches didn't like him, to the degree they would cut him if they sign another players, why do they still list him, and talk about him as the starting OLB?
Why to you expect he will be released? Do you think most backup players in the NFL are "difference makers". You don't seem to know what the hell you are talking about.
I like Brooks alot,he may not have the speed and playmaking skills he once had,but he is a great leader,knows the cover2 better than any player on the Bills now and he would make sure every player on defense would be in the right position to make plays.He is the best stop gap player the Bills could sign,i know he is at the end of his career,but it seems to work out for the Patriots.

Free agent linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa visited with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday, and according to sources familiar with the visit, the Bills brass was “very impressed” with Tinoisamoa and the feeling was mutual. The two sides are now trying to work on a contract before Tinoisamoa leaves town, and contemplates his second visit.

I disagree wholeheartedly on Jones! I say play the 2 rooks at the Guards, Butler and Walker at Tackles, let the chips fall where they may and thank ya ma'm, I think that'll turn out just fine!
If there is anyway to get John Henderson,then i pray the Bills do it.Remember how our defense was when we had Pat and Sam.

actually rivers reminds me of marino as well. always has. Im not sure what it is but he just does.
Dan Marino is one of the best QB's ever,Phillip Rivers is like Trent Dilfer.They both wont even be remembered years from now.

Derrick Brooks would be the perfect OLB to bring in.He still has 2 great years in him.
He is a Prowl Bowler in the cover 2 system,year aftrer year.Who better to show our backers how to make plays in that system.He is a good leader and a smart linebacker.Always in the right place at the right time.That is the one piece to the defensive puzzle the Bills are missing.John Henderson would be the last piece the Bills would need to have a top 5 defense.

Will the Bills make a move on Levi Jones?I think he would be an upgrade,then they can put Walker back at right tackle,and butler at right guard.Levitre would be valuable depth this year.

If we were to trade our pick 28,then trade it to Carolina for Peppers.And draft cushind at 11.Our defense doesnt have enough playmakers.

My biggest problem with Peters is his lack of loyalty.He didnt get drafted and the Bills signed him as a free agent.No other team was willing to give him a chance,they all seen him as an out of shape tight end.The Bills seen more.At least show up to camp and show some respect to an organization that made you an millonaire.If the Bills didnt see the potenial in him,he would be just another regular joe...working 9-5.

Pettigrew will fall to late first round,if Robert Ayers is there you thank God Almighty and grab him.He reminds me alot of Dwight Freeny.Ayers will be a force.

Everyone thinks our first pick is going to be a defensive end...With the money Schobel and Kelsey are getting,that will be to much in one position.The rookie end wouldn't start his fist year,just a rotational player.I really believe our first pick will be Brian Cushing.It is a safe pick and a stater from day one.

The signing of T.O tells me as a fan that the front office is trying to win now.It would be great if we can somehow get Waters,our offense will really open up.Just missing a tight end to open up the middle of the field.Bring T.O in and get it done,he has alot of passion and for 1 or 2 years,he will have something to prove.
