  1. Spiller is a play maker and looks like he can score every time he touches the ball. I wouldn't be upset if we drafted him. Take an OT at #41 and trade Lynch for a 3rd or 4th round pick. You don't get a chance to draft a player like Spiller often and there is no QB that I would take over him besides maybe Bradford. Is there going to be a sure fire starting LT or NT #9??

I think the browns grap him before we have a chance..

  2. He said 'anals' :wallbash:

I can really see the bills picking C.J Spiller with the first pick and going OT in the 2nd,and NT in the 3rd.There will be no QB there at our pick to build around,Fred Jackson is getting up there in age and HB seem to hit a wall when in there 30s so no long term solution there, and Lynch is to troubled to count on.Gailey loves to run the ball and Spiller will be a nightmare for defensive cordinators to keep in check.Speed kills and Spiller has that .He had 53 TD in college and 34 of them went for over 50 yards. The bills need an idenity and Spiller would give the bills what Peterson, and johnson gave there teams.Having a star HB like that will open up lee evans on more single coverage. If it was up to me i would pick the best LT on the board, but i will understand why the bills pick Spiller if they do.

  3. Watson actually drops alot of passes if you look we are not the only teams taking this approach and I believe we will be ok with Nelson and Schouman.

watson killed us in the opener, and helped the pats come from behind and beat us again.....im just glad they lose another veteran who knows the offense well.rookies will take time to develop and learn offense

  4. Having been his teammate for the past season and a half, Bills free agent visitor Jimmy Kennedy is very tight with Pat Williams.

Kennedy said when he told Williams he was coming to visit with the Bills that the former Bills DT couldn’t say enough good things about Buffalo.

“Pat loved this place,” said Kennedy. ”I’m quite sure if he had an opportunity to come back here he would be here. He speaks highly of Buffalo and he loves the fans here. When I told him I was coming out here he told me to go up there and have fun and if you sign there good luck.”

Kennedy has a deep respect for Williams’ game and even indicated that he would wear Williams old number 93 if it was available and he signed here.

“If I come here and his old number is available I’ll consider changing to that number,” said Kennedy. ”That’s how much respect I have for Pat. He’s like a father for the most part. Thirteen years at that nose guard spot, to get the recognition that he gets right now and to be 38 years old. He’s a beast and I love him to death.”

Number 93 however, is currently worn by Chris Ellis.

  5. Browns sign Benjamin Watson

Posted by Michael David Smith on March 12, 2010 7:05 AM ET

Benjamin Watson is a Cleveland Brown.

Watson, a free agent tight end who played his entire six-year career with the New England Patriots, has signed a three-year deal with the Browns. As first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, it's a $12 million contract with $6.35 million guaranteed.

A league source who confirmed the deal to PFT says the $6.35 million guaranteed will be paid out completely in the first year of the deal.

The 29-year-old Watson played in all 16 games for the Patriots last season, starting seven and catching 29 passes for 404 yards and five touchdowns.

  6. Why not interview him? It sends out a smokescreen (how effective? probably not very) so a team who wants a LT won't be so quick to trade in front of us and Spiller may become a FA or available for trade down the road so it wouldn't be a bad idea to meet with him now.

Spiller is a special player, and the draft is deepat Tackle this year,,Chan likes to run the ball and spiller would be a weapon we dont have on this team..we are deep at HB as long as Lynch doesnt get suspended again.Maybe the tackle will come in the second round or a trade back up into the first round.Who really knows what the new coaches are planning?I think alot of people will be surprised.

  7. I think Ben Watson is about the best free agent not signed yet...For years the Bills cry they would love to have a TE that can open up the middle of the field...and Watson is still young, never had a bad injury...and has good value left in him.

  8. Good on field guy, but a guy I'd much rather not have in the Buffalo community or in the Bills locker room.

Just read this concerning Green...The contract seems a little steep for what basically amounts to a "for competition's sake" signing, but the contract, at least, is not prohibitive. Green struggled last season in Oakland, giving up several sacks and, more importantly, providing the Raiders a plethora of untimely penalties.
