Personally, I think what Vick did was far worse than Stallworth's crime. Stallworth made a poor choice and drove a vehicle under the influence. Unfortunately his mistake took a life and I feel like he got off relatively easy. With that being said, he owned up to the mistake and was cooperative with authorities the whole way.
Vick funded and participated in a sick/criminal activity for five years. This is hardly a mistake. It doesn't matter if he grew up with the activity or not. I grew up with alot of guys that dealt drugs and still do. Would I get your support if i chose that career path? He's a grown man and made his own choice, he was fully aware of how sick it was. His own parents begged him to stop before he was even caught.
I'm with AD on this. I've got no problem with him playing in the league. He served his time and doesn't owe anything else. The guy is a pile of garbage and a grossly overrated QB. I hope he gets destroyed on the field and want him no where near the Bills. The guy really can't do anything to change my mind.
So wait let me get this straight killing a person (stallworth) is worst than killing a dog (vick)? so dogs are more valuable than human life??...HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE...

I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where anybody said this was new info, and BTW, I DON'T KEEP UP WITH THE DAY TO DAY HAPPENINGS IN THE LIFE OF MIKE VICK!!!! However, there is ABSOLUTELY NO F*CKIN DOUBT IN MY MIND that he is not a Leader, which is a key component to being a QB, especially on this team.
If Vick showed up on gameday drivin a cadillac, smokin Newports and drinkin a 40oz I doubt he could enforce any more stereotypes,
why don't you pull your mouth away from his junk and look at the fact that this guy is a cancer to a team. Does he even realize that everybody depends on the QB to be the guy that sets the standards of work ethic on a football team.
I'll take a good HARD-WORKING, BLUE COLLAR, accurate Qb that has some form of leadership ability, a guy that actually puts in an effort over this f*ckin thug life POS anyday.

I understand exploring all options to address the QB situation. But you know the QB situation on your team is atrocious when people think the fix could be a guy like Tyler Thigpen...

Whether it is Trent Edwards, Brian Brohm, Fitz or whomever the front office brings in let them fight it out in training camp and preseason to see who wins out. What is wrong with having players compete for a position? In GB Mat Flynn beat out Brohm so Flynn moved ahead of him. More power to Green Bay because they weren't afraid to move ahead a lower drafted player who outperformed a higher drafted player.
Rich Gannon was a vagabound qb for years. He ended up in Oakland and got them to the SB. Rich Garcia kicked around in the Canadian league. He turned out to be a very good qb for the 49ers despite the fact that he was not particularly young. Look at the history of Kurt Warner. He was in the arena league, played in Europe and was a bagger in a grocery store. He is probably going into the HOF.
What you are now as a player doesn't mean that is what you will develop into. Mat Shaub was a third or fourth round draft pick who was a backup qb with the Falcons during the Vick years. He got traded to Houston and has played very well for them.
The Bills are not good enough to dismiss any player who might help them, whether the odds are long or short that the player might be an asset. Marshawn Lynch was a first round pick and Fred Jackson was a free agent draftee out of Coe College. Jackson kicked around before he was given an opportunity to play; he convincingly out performed Lynch the thug. The decision was based on what was done on the field. So why would there be so much objection to let whoever qb candidate is on the roster compete for playing time.

I completely agree with you about that statement EXCEPT the vick a scrub part but thats been debated 15x and its getting old. Brohm sucks he got booted off GB's practice squad I mean what else do you want to see that he sucks, its like people are infatuated with him. Mike is better than every sing QB we have or even thought about/ specualted about getting PERIOD. Half you are pis*ed about the dogs. Please move on got damn. The other half go on stats when you havent factored the crappy recievers he had (i really dont feel like naming them all again). His best recevier was he TE (A.Crumpler), with our recievers he'd be better. He still has the arm if you watched any eagles games you'd seen that, his legs are still good maybe not as spectacular but a 4.4 for a qb is still ridiculous. Fred/Vick/Lynch who would stop the formation???

I have been watching Football for a very long time. I watched alot of Vick games and the kid is unimpressive as a QB very imppressive as aa running QB. Vick doesnt have the vision to be a Passing QB he has never been known to be a passer hes a running QB only with no upside. He can barely complet half of his passes and cant throw for more then 2500 yards in a season so yeah the aformetnioned qbs would be a hell of a lot better then Vick negative attention aside,Go with the players that have the upside. A franchise QB is born in the team not acquired at the age of 30.
ok he's unimpressive a qb when throwing to receivers with bad hands he had a great TE in atl and that faired well for him..if all else fails he can run. He still has that arm and now he may have to use it more than ever.

The man is a piece of ****. Giant N-bomb! Thats just who he is as a person. As a football player he is utterly terrible at throwing, pretty good at running. As a quarterback he is miles and miles beyond the much younger, more talented Brian Brohm. Brohm is a start waiting to be made. Id give him a training camp and let him start the season for us. The kid has potential to be amazing!
