Back during the late 70s oil embargo, Gas was cheaper in Canada than the USA. One time drove to Ft. Erie to fill up. At the border when the guy asked where you were going, just said "To buy gas."

JFK was when I was in 1st grade. The teacher got a call on the wall phone and stepped outside in the hall for a minute or so. She comes back in crying and tells us the president was shot. The school was grades 1-5 with about 30 people. They had a TV on wheels and set it up in the hall. We watched the coverage and heard Walter Cronkite tell us JFK was dead. We had ro wait for busses to send us home early. Remember watching the funeral. That was Saturday. I think it was Sunday I saw Oswd getting shot o live TV. My dad was standing in front of the TV just repeating Holy Sh*t!!!, just like I did when I saw the second plane hit live on 9/11.

The Anchorage "Rent-A-Mob" of about 20-30 people that is greeting Trump's arrival looks to be out of towners. They look to be grannies and are wearing heavier jackets. Real natives of Alaska would be wearing summer clothes. This week it is 50-60 degrees there which is normal summer weather.

Looking just now, the Dow is at an all time high and ny retirement is up ~10% since New Years Day! That's not return projected for the whole year, but actual gain since 1/1/25.

Hope I have room for it with the 23 pills I take a day. The prednisone and the anti rejection meds (8 pills) are the ones I can't miss a dose. Those 23 also include OTC magnesium, vitamin D and aspirin.

I now live about 300 feet from the west end of that property. The other end is the gas station and my cardiologist. The whole length of that property was about a quarter mile long and maybe 200-300 feet deep. It bordered Cayuga Creek.

At the time I am writing this, a year and a half ago, I was on the operating table! Take vitals morning and night still. All fine except weight. Weight is up because of prednisone, which I have to take. Just got cataract surgery 3 and 2 weeks ago and my vision is crystal clear now! See primary doc and cardiologist every 6 months. See nephrologist every two months, get a blood test monthly and my 1 ½ year checkup at the Transplant center is Wednesday. After that if all is well, that one will be yearly.

Gene Simmons has never done drugs or drink. Nice Jewish boy. Came here from Isreal with nis mom, Real name is Chaim Witz.
Paul Stanley wrote most of their hits. Due to a birth defect, he has a misshapen ear and is practically deaf in it.
Ace Frehley was fired for his drinking and drug use, but cleaned himself up.
Peter Criss quit or was fired (depending who you ask) from the band.
I'm sure they will al show up. No one is that big of an a-hole to turn down an honor like that,

In south Cheektowaga. It was very small with about 3-4 rides. My parents said they used to have bingo games there in the 50s. Now it has a gas station, a dentist office, my cardiologist's office, a credit union, and a funeral home on that property.

Don't remember where I saw it, but it is soon. So mea culpa. At least it's good news instead of a RIP notice. If he keeps dancing every morning as he says he does, he should make it with no problem.
