  1. Used to live in the SF Bay area for almost 20 years. Moved back to WNY 10 years ago. In 2022 went back to visit  and wore my Bills Mafia shirt to a get-together for my hobby there. Had lot of question about what it meant. I explaned that being a Bills fan is like being in the Mafia. Once you join, you are in it for life and can't quit.😀

  2. The Cavages  I went to was at the Como Mall, about a mile from my house.

I'm feeling fine, better than I have in several years.  All vitals are in the normal range.  Back to driving. Went for labs Wed.   No call from  docs, so they must be OK. My incision is healed.  On Apr 29th, going for a  biopsy of the new kidney to make sure it is OK. Sister has to take me to ECMC because they will sedate me for the short procedures and they said I will be recovering from the sedation for about 4 hours. I  have lost 40 lbs from my high in 2022 and 20  lbs since the transplant on 2/15.  Have a pair of nice (dress) pants that were snug but  not tight in February, but look like clown pants now.

"Quietly dropping" in the "we're telling everyone" mode.  Tricky.

My friend (the concert goer)  had the Street Survivor's album with the flames on the album cover.  It was quite creepy for a youngster with an overactive imagination.  Right up there with Keith Moon is sitting on the Who Are You album in a chair with the words "Not to be taken away".

I trrmrmber seeing the Street Survivors album in Cavages. I have the  Who album.

  4. Went to ECMC for blood/urine lab tests today. Been home a month as of Friday. Driving again and drove myself there today. No call from the transplant center so it looks like tests are all good. Want up to the center  as I was there to get my med prescriptions transferred to my pharmacy. Having experienced the joy of getting  a transplant two months ago, I got to see the despair of not getting one  first hand.  While I was waiting, the nurse came out to tell the other person in the waiting area that the kidney they  had for her was  not suitable for transplant  when they saw it in person. The nurse had tried to call her but they were already on their way. They do warn you that that could happen,  but seeing it happen in front of you affects you.

    Dementia.

They might be lying to Joke to prevent him from getting agitated. My mom, when her dementia  got  bad, would start saying about 7 PM that she wanted to go home.  She was in the home the she and dad owned for about 60 years. She meant her childhood home that she and her siblings had sold in 1983.  We would tell her it was too late to take her there and we would take her in the morning. She would calm down and fall asleep. Next day, no knowledge of what had happened.
