  1. They built a Tesla  produced EV charging station  in the parking lot of a Tops Market near the West Seneca-Cheektowaga town line last fall. I have never seen a car charging up there.  In fact I have NEVER seen  a Tesla  anywhere in WNY. The only one I have ever see in person was one on the Interstate i nthe SF Bay area when I visited there in 2022. The only vehicle I have see at the  charging station in West Seneca  was a West Seneca cop car using it to hide behind  to catch speeders.

  2. Update on 5-25: All tests are fine.  Docs keep  tweaking  my main anti-rejection  med. No signs of rejection but my blood level of it keeps being slightly higher or lower than ideal, so they said it is best to be sightly higher. Took me off of a med to treat heartburn. Some of the other meds can have that as a side effect but have had none. Another one I was scheduled to come off of anway. I got the OK to go out in public without an mask. They also said it was OK to go to smaller  events but to carry a mask if I notice a sick person. I went to a get together for my hobby last Monday with about 15 people.

Last week Wednesday, I went in for a checkup  and they told me I could graduate to monthly visits.  Just before leaving, the director comes i ad asks yo see how my incision healed. She inspects it and that I have fluid under it. She says it needs to be drained. She does it refers me to visiting nurses for would care. Last Friday they came with a wound vac ad that I have to wear it for several weeks until the incision fully heals.  They pack it with a sponge and put a waterproof membrane over it with a hose. It's hooked up to a pump that draws a slight stuction to draw the fluid out. Doesn't hurt  a bit and I just have to unhook the pump to take a shower. So now I have to go every week again for them to see how it is healing.

I've had quite a few important people in my life who are no longer with us. I remember the year month and day that they passed.

As per usual, a ludicrous take from a useful idiot.

I still remember the exact time that my mom died  2 ½ years ago and the time  when my dad died 34 years ago.

  4. When I was in the cub scouts in the late 60's, they took us to a local exchange building  to see how it worked. Those racks in the film had hundreds of small golf club  shaped "levers" in each one that clicked into place when making a connection in the circutry (this was before the push button phone days). Boy, it was noisy in there.

  5. Had a bad allergy to ragweed Came on when I was 18.  Would go through a box of Kleenex in a day. Once strained a neck muscle from sneezing so hard. Had to take drixoral which  doped me up (not made anymore). Lived in CA for close to 20  years where  the allergy went away.  The pollen must be slightly different there as compared to WNY. The I moved back here it came back but not as bad. Take Allegra now when it hits . Started getting an itchy nose when  cottonwood trees bloom. Yesterday saw the fuzzies floating around and the nose itched.

I hate having to be the self-appointed Voice of Reason. But here we go again:

    - the language is needlessly offensive. Not sure if it's coming from the campaign, from think tank fellow travelers, or from so-called MSM reports. But "round-up' is simply not helpful. It's not helpful because it implies "to hell with the law, we're rounding 'em up and shipping 'em out")

    - to the extent they mean "arresting and detaining those under orders of deportation," well, then, that is the law. The fact that the Biden Administration wishes to be selective about how they enforce those orders doesn't mean there's anything unlawful about doing it. I would like to see a little bit of discretion applied here in which orders to immediately enforce (classic case: single mom, one kid still under 18, why not wait until that kid is of age?), but a whole lot less discretion than the Biden Administration has seen fit to grant.

    - to the extent that they're drumming up new infectious diseases to support a new invocation of Title 42 and a denial of the right to seek asylum or go through the mandated deportation process: that strikes me as cynical very likely unlawful. There are statutory remedies like detaining people until they clear a health review that aren't as drastic and that would probably better protect public health. I am never in favor of cheating a little on the law. The law is (or at least should be) the law.

So there. Maybe I'm too optimistic in saying that 98% of Americans would agree with me here? (with the remaining 2% being vastly overrepresented on PPP?)

So the regime that says Israel should be wiped off the map gets its President and Foreign Minister wiped on the map,

    Looks Kobe Bryant-ish to me.

I thought Kobe's pilot died in that crash.
