Rd 2 take it to the bank

He looks like a literal clone of LeSean McCoy

He's about to play shortly on ESPN. I like him and Royce Freeman

I have seen projections of Bo Scarborough to us in the 4th. He's a big down hill power back i'd be ok with that. It seems allot of the new RB's are monsters like Derrick Henry that can still run. I miss Karlos Williams

That's why I like Freeman. Has the size and speed of Karlos.

    Mayfield or Allen

Rosen comes across as an entitled B word.

Lamar Jackson would be TT V2

I'm not a fan of Josh Rosen because of his attitude. Yes, he has the tools to be a great NFL QB but his maturity comes in question to me. Like I said in different posts, he reminds me of Jeff George/Jay Cutler.

I think Mayfield fits all these Bucky Brooks must haves.

    Five traits that matter:

    Intelligence
    Leadership
    Competitiveness
    Grit (Resilience/Perseverance)
Clutch Factor (Can he perform under pressure?)

    So does Lamar Jackson

I would add Luke Falk of Washington State on this list. I prefer Luke Falk over Mason Rudolph and Lamar Jackson.

Luke Falk reminds me of Tony Romo with his play.

So , you want a player that reminds you of a QB that has never won a NFL playoff game?

  4. Let me tell you what's so TIRESOME. I'm tired of the Tyrod Taylor supporters saying he has/had no talent at WR. I'm so sorry that Tyrod couldn't become a better QB with the likes of Robert Woods, Marquis Goodwin, Sammy Watkins, Chris Hogan, Justin Hunter, etc. These guys are all contributing on playoff teams with the exception of Goodwin and if "Jimmy Jesus" was playing earlier, who knows. So let's stop making excuses for Tyrod's limitations. Great person. Good football player. No so good QB. Tyrod's a backup in this league. Let's face the facts.

Opinions on Jackson appear to be all over the map.  His arm is plenty strong.  I think he might be a "smart" Mike Vick.  Some folks are dead set against a running qb, though.

Anyway, not my first choice, but I would definitely consider him.  I think he will be there without trading up, but he'll be a first rounder imo.

I frown on the Vick comparisons. How about a "smarter" Randall Cunningham. Cunningham was a mobile, pocket passer. Who knows, with a little more grooming he has the ability to be another Warren Moon who was very mobile early in his years in Canada. His upside and potential is through the roof. I'd like to be a fly in the room while he is being interviewed by NFL personnel.

Wish he could play in Senior Bowl. Is he eligible for the East West Shrine Game?

How did you not see translatable traits in today's game?  His first touchdown was a bullet over the middle on a deep slant.  His second touchdown, he threw a very accurate pass while on the run after avoiding pass rushers.  His third touchdown, he threw a perfect deep ball to a wide receiver in stride.  How were those throws not translatable?  We don't have a guy that can do that now.  His deep middle slant throw was a big time NFL throw.  None of the other QBs in this draft class could make that pass with that type of zip.  His potential is so high.  He needs time to be groomed behind a vet.  I hope we will be patient as a franchise if we get him.

He has taken snaps from under center.  His coach is the same coach that was with Carson Wentz and he has talked about both being in the same light.  He didn't throw that many passes today and still had some outstanding passes.  If he gets coached well, someone will get him playing at that high level on a more consistent basis and I hope it is us.

He had more talent around him last year and everyone who scouts him and talks about him knows that.  He is playing with garbage players.  Don't look at the numbers, look at the potential in his ability.

I guarantee Lamar Jackson could've made that throw. He has a "gun" too.

He's been compared to Tyrod Taylor by you, no expert that I read sees Tyrod Taylor in him, it's more of a Michael Vick with a better pocket presence and accuracy. Like I've stated I'm not a huge dual threat QB fan but this guy seems like he's a difference maker with both his arm and his legs.

Preach the gospel!! And he's not a one read and run QB. I posted a draft analysis of Deshaun Watson and it was comparable to Lamar except that Lamar is more explosive and probably have a stronger arm. His stature is comparable to Josh Rosen, so I hate the "he's gotta put on more weight". Lamar is going to have to learn to slide or get out of bounds when he do escape the pocket. I'd love to see him in the Bills backfield with Shady. Get a speed receiver and the offense will be scary.

We're not going to get a bulletproof prospect unless we package both 1sts and go after Rosen or Darnold. Your boy Allen threw 13 TDs and 12 INTs last year, where's your concern there? Baker is too short, Lamar is more of a runner and on and on we go. I can pick holes in any prospect, Brady was benched for Drew Henson! Every single prospect in this draft can be torn apart, even Rosen and Darnold. Rudolph has a pretty good arm and he can read defenses, I think he translates to the NFL, reminds me of Alex Smith.

Rudolph doesn't have a tenth of Alex Smith mobility.
