If you pick a great player at the spot you traded up to, no one is going to care about the missing 3rd round pick in a couple of years.
I couldn't agree more. If you can get three or four starters from eight picks, then who cares how they did it? I won't.
-
Just a few hours till we see how the Bills screw up their 10th consecutive 1st round pick.
Hilarious.
-
I could live with this, but TE (Rudolph) in round 2 and OT in 3 would be better.
I could live with either scenario, but would prefer yours.
-
Rd 1) - I think you nailed it. If Dareus and Miller go 1-2, a trade down to get Costanzo or Jordan would be sick.
Rd 2) - My preferences are Rudolph and Gilbert but not necessarily in that order.
Rd 3) - Stocker all the way if 1) they think he'll be there, 2) Rudolph isn't the pick in Rd 2.
Rd 4,5,6,7) - No real preferences, just grab quality prospects like they did last year. It's going to be a blast to watch.
Excellent work you do all year long. Keep it up bro.

1) Von Miller
2) Kyle Rudolph
3) Marcus Gilbert

Have fun bro and give a call when you get back - I'd like to hear your thoughts.
-
The pennant is hilarious.
-
Thanks for the info.
-
Trade back to the 10 position and draft Costanzo.
-
Green Bay selects Marcus Gilbert OT, Florida.
-
Arizona's picks are in to the commish. Fingers are crossed that Cleveland doesn't pick a certain player from a certain Big-10 school.
-
I can do Green Bay as well.

You had him on the run, until you referenced the Pearl Jam tramp stamp.
Need a visual? Just say the word...
-
Cut him. He's dead weight. Let some other team be impressed with his non-effort.
Exactly. Get rid of the POS.

First of all, I wasn't aware that a person's or band's political preferences could be "wrong." They might be different from yours, but maybe yours are wrong? Who knows and who cares.
This is a music thread bro, get over it.
Britney Spears said we should always trust and support our president. Do you like her music?
Nice first post in this thread there 'bro'. Where exactly are YOU discussing music? You aren't, and you're simply going after me for being pissed off at these guys. Nice. Check out my screen name sometime and look up my original one: boomerjamhead.
Eddie Vedder is as divisive as they come. He prefers it that way, and because of it he can kiss my ass. Where did I say he was 'wrong'? You made that up, and I applaud you for your creativity.
I can "out-Pearl-Jam" anyone on this board. Let's go ahead and talk some music there 'bro'.
The Britney Spears reference is hilarious. I don't have a tatt of her lame ass on my back, but I do have a big ass PJ tatt.

Either way, he was very pro-Obama on the last tour, so he's obviously not going to go after him this early.
That's outstanding. He's probably every bit as disappointed in Obama as all the other tools that voted for him.
-
I'll say right up front that I'm not trying to make this political. They're pro-democrat, so why would he break out an Obama mask? It makes no sense.
They're actually a bunch of Green Party Nader honks.
What does make sense is that Obama is anything but anti-war. In fact I would go so far as to say that in his second term he's going after Iran. That should give Eddie plenty to B word about.

back in 97 i would have looked forward to both bands.
btw what is up with all the f*** pearl jam?
-
I like this kid.

Last night's set list looks like a pretty good balance of past and present to me. 5 songs off the new cd, which doesn't seem the list bit unreasonable to me. Then there were plenty of songs to please the people who might have jumped ship years ago like Evenflow, Betterman, Given to Fly, Alive, and Rearview Mirror. If anyone's at that show and feels completely lost, they should never have been there in the first place.
Now if you really want a show where you have no clue what half the stuff they're playing is, try a Rush concert this summer.
My favorite album is Yield.
-
wow. i actually am not a big fan anymore. usually their new stuff is just ok. nothing super incredible.
i have friends that want to see them everytime they come to l.a. like if the're the stones.....
seing pearl jam every 5 years is ok. every freaking year not acceptable.
Hilarious that you would mention The Stones. I watched PJ open for them in '97 at the Oakland Colosseum during the Bridges to Babylon tour (I couldn't care less about The Stones, I was there to see PJ). PJ came out in matching rainsuits and played in a total downpour. It was awesome.
Still... !@#$ those dudes...

I literally think I could kill a motherf*cker right now...........
She did you a favor. Good luck man.
What happens if none of the top 4 players fall to us?

Considering the history of this franchise, I can honestly see this happening.
