    My awareness took a leap during the Clockboy "scandal". It became apparent that, among virtually all my peer group, even questioning Ahmed's motivations was enough to have you branded a racist. From there to the Roosh (pickup artist) "scandal", where a tasteless "pro-rape" satire provokes death threats, yet from the same attackers not a single mention of actual rapes by migrants throughout the EU.

     

    I expect Hillary to do for relations between the sexes, what Obama did for race relations.

     

     

    The refugee crisis is beyond the pale.

     

    The Orlando killer story...immediately converted into a gun issue. Even if they stopped selling any guns TODAY, there are so many guns already in circulation, that any terrorist would have no trouble obtaining one (or would just make a bomb, or run people over with a car, or....).

     

    Transgender...BLM...no need to go on, really. I'm preaching to the choir.

     

    I have always been on "the Left", and throughout my life, it was the Right that I associated with censorship, and suppression of information. Now it is clear that "progressivism" is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I have always been dismissive of conspiracy theories, but the table is being set for globalization, and it appears there is no way around it.

    Congrats.

     

    The progressive socialist ideology is all for diversity, freedom and rights, but only if those viewpoints agree with their own.

     

     

    They want to control, discredit and silence their critics.

     

    I think it's funny that many people here who are on the left just think that anyone who opposes them is just some type of right wing conservative when it couldn't be further from the truth. Many of us are libertarian, centrist, independent, conservative, constitutionalist and any degree in between.

    Segregation Rears Its Ugly Head---On Campus

    Hampshire College will offer some of its students what the school euphemistically calls identity-based housing. Thats segregated housing for students who because of their race, culture, gender or sexual orientation have historically experienced oppression. Id bet the rent money that Hampshire College will not offer Jewish, Irish, Polish, Chinese or Catholic students segregated housing. Because there is no group of people who have not faced oppression, Hampshire College is guilty of religious and ethnic discrimination in its housing segregation policy.

    University of Connecticut administrators think that more black men will graduate if they spend more time together. According to Campus Reform, they are building a new residence hall to facilitate just that. Dr. Erik Hines, the faculty director for the program, said that the learning community is a space for African-American men to come together and validate their experiences that they may have on campus. Its also a space where they can have conversation and also talk with individuals who come from the same background who share the same experience. By the way, Hampshire College and the University of Connecticut are not alone in promoting racially segregated student housing.

    Then theres an effort for racial segregation in classes. Moraine Valley Community College attempted it in a class titled College: Changes, Challenges, Choices. It mandated that some class sections be limited to African-American students. The college defended racially segregated classes by saying that they make students feel comfortable. After facing massive national notoriety, the college just recently abandoned its racial segregation agenda.

    Everything old again is new again. This time it's not racist to organize everyone with their own groups it's social justice. If you dont, then your a racist. Got it.

     

    Wtf is wrong in liberal academia. Its turned into a progressive echo chamber with no common sense or appreciation of history.

    a hurry up offense with their defense is a recipe for disaster...not to mention their o-line and issues in the running game. Also, Jordan Cameron is terrible so not having a reliable pass catching tight end is another knock on it.

     

    They don't have the personnel for it.

     

    Honestly, the stuff coming from Gase is either a huge smokescreen or he thinks because it works in practice against his potentially historically bad secondary that it will work in games against other teams.

    Agreed.

     

    Bring it on. It has potential to be an epic disaster.

    Purely my specualtion but it's probably a Burmese python someone had as a pet and let go because it got too big. It will be dead in a few months if it makes it that long, it won't like Maine's weather when it gets cold.

     

    I'm sick of hearing about Burmese pythons alreadt, it would be more dramatic if it ends up being a reticulated python, or African rock python, they get just as big and are more aggressive with nasty dispositions. That would make it more dire to catch/kill it.

    We could partner with 23 and Me so that everybody who sends in their DNA is given a certificate of their racial bloodline because #BloodLinesMatter. Everybody with the cert can load it onto their smart phone so that they know if anyone around them is oppressing them or if they have to make amends for their privilege.

    To be honest as this process has gone on I've become less excited about it. If we sign him great, if not who cares.

     

    Sure he was the honey baker winner, but he was 22yrs old playing mostly younger kids and in a weaker conference. He was originally drafted in ristolainens year. Compare who has had tougher competition etc..

     

    At best I think he can possibly top out as a 20 goal scorer, maybe a more consistent drew Stafford or zemgus girgensons.

     

    The part I like is he would be signed for a relatively cheap contract since it would be his entry level deal.
