I think I just go with Peterman and Groy at G next season, after drafting 1a OT. 1b DT, 2a DT, 2b LB, 3 G 4 QB

They are making me work today, I will miss the first half. I just hope there will be a reason for me to watch the second half.

I do not see another win on the schedule. I hope I am wrong.

It would seem that it is universally accepted that Mills and Ducasse suck at the game of football. McD's apparent failure to see this is leading me to slip in my hopeful belief in the process.

I did see Jerry Hughes giving effort, but you are right, it did seem that Johnson was the only one playing hard.

this team is the worst team in the NFL, PERIOD!

on the bright side, the Bills now have one of the better back up QB's in the league

I am confident that the same people that want us to get rid of Dareus are the same as those that wanted us to get rid of Lynch back in the day.

Not every coach.
The New England Patriots are the obvious and clear exception to the rule. Bill Belichick's ability to adapt scheme to player (and not vice versa) is the primary reason - possibly even more than having Tom Brady - that his teams have continued to have success for 15+ years straight. Mark my words. They will not miss Julian Edelman in the slightest. Because even if the team gets a drop-off in play from their backup slot receiver, they will simply shift to another focus on offense and keep on rolling.
There are many reasons for the Buffalo Bills managing THIS MANY YEARS without even making the playoffs. But lack of continuity is absolutely near the top of the list. We have clearly had enough talent at various times during the drought to pull off a wild card slot. But the constant merry-go-round with head coaches, coordinators and schemes just keeps us stuck in the mud.
It's only preseason, but the signs are already showing of this ridiculous cycle continuing. The offensive line, which has been solid for the last 2 years, is struggling badly with the new zone blocking. Tyrod Taylor looks very uncomfortable under center, and is regressing almost every snap he takes. Even the NFL's best running game is suddenly looking poor. As much as the defense looks improved (surprise, surprise after going back to 4-3), the offense clearly appears to be taking a step back. My guess is that our offense will cost us games early, Taylor will eventually get benched for the rookie, things still won't improve, and by years end Rick Dennison will be cast as the scapegoat. At which point, we will recycle offensive coordinators yet again.

I was 20 min late for a meeting today. I had no good excuse. I have an important job, save lives, make a lot of money, and am a leader in my organization. I apologized to my team. We had a very productive day.
I'm an adult and was treated like an adult.
Sending home one of the most important players on your team is not discipline, it is not leadership and it certainly is not coaching. It is a publicity stunt.
I am willing to give McDermott a grace period. But I think what he did was foolish and exactly opposite of how to coach a teammate or hold a team member accountable. In fact it is basic HR and he overreached.
What happens when an assistant coach arrives late? What happens when McDermott makes a mistake?
For those professionals in the community, what do you say? How would you expect to be treated?
It is a given that you knew when you wrote this that it would instantly draw out the Dareus haters. However, I agree with you totally!

I was at that '64 game with my father. I swear you could hear Keith Lincoln's ribs break in the stands after that hit. Changed the game.
That is why Mike Stratton was my favorite player when I was a kid.

I am an Apocaloptimist, I remain extremely optimistic even though I know it will all turn to crap.

I think New England got stronger in the off season, so I will have to go with them. I like Atlanta, but I think that Tampa Bay will unseat them. Therefore, New England vs Tampa Bay.

I would like to apologize to everyone for what I am thinking about this topic.

There is no doubt in my mind that if Sammy is not under a fifth year option, he will have a monster year showing off for free agency in 2018. Where does all this Sammy doesn't want to be here stuff come from? The Bills were his favorite team growing up. Trade Sammy? Lunacy!

IMO Doug did his job, the coach wants a position filled, Doug got the best he could to fill it. Rex did a horrible job of coaching.
The Bills will be hard pressed to find a replacement with the upside Doug possessed.
Best wishes to you and your family Doug!

I hate the Jets more than the Pats*
if the bills make the playoffs and are a tough out, do you build a great oline with the picks, or still go after a top qb in the first?

Any QB worth drafting with the first of our picks will not be worth it as the only two worth drafting will already be gone even if the Bills lose all the rest of their games. I say OT;
