I think if he wants a chance to prove himself, he'll sign with Buffalo. If Lynch is suspended for the first 4 games of the season, the two Freds will definatley split the carries. Lynch will then probably slowly be brought back into the system and won't be in full blown beast mode til atleast week 8. That gives Taylor atleast half a season to show he's still got stuff left in the tank. If he goes to New England he'll be lost in the depth chart behind Laurence Maroney, Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk. He'll probably get some carries in the first two weeks, but by then they'll totally abandon him. Not to mention, if Brady is back to 100% they'll be throwing the ball more anyway. So if Taylor wants to actually play, he'll come to Buffalo.....if he wants to sit the bench and maybe win a ring, he'll sign with New England....simple as that.

I have to agree......I don't understand why the Bills fans get all excited about the draft. Other than Lee Evans, every first round pick goes on to either be a bust or leave via Free Agency. The trend started well before Modrak got here. 99 Winfield-left via free agency 00 Flowers-bust 01 Clements - left via free agency These are the guys that are suposed to be the ones you build your franchise around. No wonder this team is the dripping *****.

I think the worst case scenerio is he's suspended all of 2009. I wouldn't put it past Goodell to be tired of players using handguns and really make an example out of Lynch, especially fresh off the Plaxico Burress debacle. The Bills would be foolish not to address the running back spot in free agency or the draft. And if Lynch's suspension is for the year, the Bills won't have to pay him and I believe he wouldn't count against the cap. Now is not the time to be cheap.
