  1. I agree. Question is how to properly understand the impact of Sammy and/or shady when at least one of those players has been inactive in over 40% of TT's starts.
  2. I think him playing too conservatively is an honest criticism. Where i disagree is in the motives behind his conservative play. I feel its not bc of his extension. I feel TT is a smart guy and a selfless guy. He knows where the strength of this offense lies. I also feel that he absolutely has very little trust and rapport with his WR's which is causing him to doubt making some throws instead of just reacting.
  3. I 100% agree that already being in the league is an advantage over a rookie even if youre not a starter. That being said there is absolutely no replicating real-game action on Sunday. Like anything else in life its not black and white. Tannehill's 40+ more GS than TT have more value than just riding the pine for example.
  4. Fitz keeps being brought up in conversation on this board as an example of "wasting our time" with TT. The comparison is absolutely laughable. In his best seasons here, 2010-2012, he had 72 total TD's and 67 total turnovers and won 16/45 games. That's a 1.07 Total TD/Total Turnover ratio and a .356 winning %. Tyrod has a 3.33 Total TD/Total Turnover ratio and a .560 winning %. Granted, this Bills team is more talented top to bottom so it makes sense that TT wins more games, but the statistical production alone from the QB position between Tyrod and Fitz isn't close either. If people can't see that then there's no hope.
  5. Good read. 100% agree about the catching radius of our WR not invoking trust in TT to just sling it. Specifically remember the INT that TT threw to Goodwin where Goodwin didnt fight for the ball at all. TT looked pissed in the sideline and they showed him looking at the screen and you can see TTs look on his face thinking "fight for that ball. Make a play". But its not goodwins fault. Bc he doesnt have that talent level. Man there was a play where winston threw to Evans in the exact same spot as TT to goodwin and evans went throuh the DB and just snatched that ball out of the air for a TD. Winston couldve had a pick 6 on that play instead it resulted in a TD. We need Watkins.
  6. According to Cam, this only happens to him.
  7. How about you give close consideration to the fact that hes been on 6 different teams (for a reason) and cant stay healthy and hes getting older. Hoyer's best season cant even begin to sniff TT's last year. Talking of statistical performance.
  8. Lmao. I could tell you the sky is blue and give you definitive proof. But if youre color blind theres just no hope. Good luck with that.
  9. Harbaugh said that in 2014. Look what he said in 2016: http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/29800/john-harbaugh-ravens-wouldve-kept-tyrod-taylor-forever-if-given-choice So much for that.
  10. It's called "Grass is always greener syndrome" and its highly contagious. Potentially fatal.
  11. Lets play devils advocate just for one second and assume Hoyer and TT are equal in performance. You want to get 4 years older at QB and sign a QB who is 4yrs older and has never started a full season in the NFL and hope that at 32 he'll play a full season? No thanks.
  12. Hughes is going to tear off his pinky and feed it to Dareus.
  13. MAJbBobby. What would be easier for Rex to do as a new HC for the Bills: 1. Start the 1st Rd Qb in EJ that is already on the roster and still somewhat unproven. Or 2. Start a QB that was never a starter and not highly drafted at all. Where is the risk in those two options? You make it sound like the "fix" was in. Please stop.
  14. He competed against the qb that the Bills franchise drafted 16th overall only 2yrs earlier.
  15. TT won this job through a QB competition. He wasnt the favorite. You can easily argue that it wouldve been 10000000x easier for Rex to start EJ and if he failed to say: that was the past regime's QB. Not mine. The fact that TT won that competition speaks volumes to what the coaching stagf thinks of him and the value he can bring to the offense. As to your point about Rex. Overall i like Rex. I think whaley and rex/lynn are a good combination. Ive seen improvement across the board in all facets of the game in yr 2 despite the ridiculous amounts of injuries. I feel the arrow is pointing up.
  16. there are plenty of objective posters. There are also plenty that arent objective. TT has room to improve. Injuries arent an excuse. The offense has played very well overall. His salary isnt going to be ridiculous. The team has won more often than not when hes the starter. Let him continue to develop rapport with WR like sammy and woods. Bring in another QB in the draft. Continue improving the defense.
  17. I understand how wins work. I also understand how rhetoric works on these boards. Because when QBs put up stats and dont win, people focus on wins saying ultimately its the QB's responsibiity. When the QBs win but dont put up style points then the team wins in spite of the QB. Its a circular argument generally no matter what angle you take, so i include wins on there to just answer that question before its even presented.
  18. Tyrod should and will come back I feel. With a deep threat like Sammy (when healthy) and the running element to his game, hes the perfect dual-threat fit for the style of offense this regime wants to run. 20th (ish) highest paid QB. Leader of an offense ranked 8th in the NFL in Pts this yr and top 10 since 2015. 3rd best TD/TURNOVER ratio in the entire NFL since named Bills' starter. Better winning % than Rodgers, Brees, Stafford, Cousins, Dalton, Eli, Rivers, Mariota, Tannehill, Matt Ryan, Winston, Bortles, Luck, Fitz, Bradford, Flacco, Etc since TT was named Bills' starter. Continue to develop Cardale. EJ will probably go somewhere else - and I wish him well. Draft another QB this year too.
  19. So many conspiracies. There was a thread during the game that accused the NFL of conspiring to have the cowboys lose (the poster was convinced all those holding calls against cowboys were fixed) only to have a ratings boost for the DAL/NYG game coming up. But now DAL won and others are claiming that the NFL is conspiring to have DAL win bc of the blown call at the end. So which one is it?
  20. Lol. Here we are fighting over bubble sizes. Despite the crapload of injuries we have either the same or better record than most crap teams on there. Thats all i care about. Haha. My thought exactly.
  21. Yup. All i see lately are silver/black and silver/blue. Coming out like cockroaches.
  22. I kinda said something similar in another thread: its one thing to have injuries scattered about your roster and have various backups starting. Every team has that. Its another thing to have an entire unit decimated by injuries to the point where the backup's backups within that unit are injured too. Our WR corps is in shambles and the level of injury to that group is hard to recover from in the long run.
