  1. Looks like jw doesn't get along well with suburbanites. Reminds me of a story I heard about a small town in Maine. Old man sitting on the porch of the general store, chewing tobacco and watching the traffic on the main road go by. Car with out of state plates pulls in with a young couple inside. Couple get out and approach the old man. Young man-"Hello sir, we have thought of moving here and wonder what the people are like?" Old man-"what were they like where you come from?" Young man-"Oh the best. Wonderful people, always willing to give you the shirt off their back, with you good times and bad." Old man-"Well thats just what you'll find here." Some hours later same thing. Car pulls in, another young couple get out. Young man-"Hello sir, we have thought of moving here and wonder what the people are like?" Old man-"what were they like where you come from?" Young man-"Miserable. All backstabbers only looking out for themselves. We can't wait to get out of there." Old man-"Well thats just what you'll find here."
  2. He knows his base.
  3. $120 for a plummer call out? Pretty cheap. That's just to use a plunger I would say. I would think mama would know how to use one of those. Not much of a manager.
  4. Presidential photo op of being a winner. That calling the winners locker room doesn't cut it.
  5. It's fantastic the way Dave can dumb down a thread. What's worse is ordinarily intelligent people feel compelled to respond to his gibberish. What's the point?
  6. Sure. I can just see Marino running sideline to sideline.
  7. "When Cataldi asked Brown if he thought the Patriots did it it on purpose to gain an advantage, Brown replied, “I don’t think you can rule anything out in New England, can you?" Hopfully those of you here [many] that can't make a post without throwing in a the Pats* cheated remark note how cry baby that sounds.
  8. I can only take exception to one item above. Royalties are not the same as tax's. If I let you take oil out of my ground to sell[or use my copyrighted song, computer program, etc] each time you take or use my property I am compensated. You make money from my property, so do I. Tax's are when the government notices you made money from my property and so did I and comes in to take their share, even though they contributed nothing. Big difference.
  9. It was not a scoring play. There is no "almost scored" category
  10. You live where you please. Saying others who choose not to live there are "hiding there heads in the sand" is the problem.
  11. I believe they would have been in this year if not for the Fred Jackson injury. Surprised how little notice is paid here to how their season, and Fitz's play, went in the tank after his absence. So yeah Fred plays 16 games in 2012 they are in.
  12. Maybe they didn't review it BECAUSE it was so close. That call could have gone ether way and the reviewer didn't feel there was enough evidence it was possible to overturn the play as called on the field.
  13. Oh no he would never say it in public-nationalization is the real "N" word to the far left-but you know him and his kind say it amongest themselves.
  14. I really do believe he wants the oil company's nationalized so ALL the profit can be distributed to the downtrodden masses. For example, government workers and unions.
  15. I can only laugh. Ladies and Gent's I give you the left.
  16. I suspect lyboob would really prefer the state take 95%, or better yet nationalize the oil company's, but his blind Palin/Alaska hatred forces him to take the role of defending big oil. Wonder what his liberal buddy's would think of him if they knew he was arguing BP is over taxed?
  17. Sure sounded that way. Not sure if he'd like a dirty hippie without all the peace and love hanging around though.
  18. Corporations don't pay tax's? I had no idea.
  19. Bah Bah Bah. Again, do you think Alaska should just give it's oil away? To BP no less? In your piss poor example[natural resources vs infrastructure, military, etc, etc] all those things WERE paid for by taxes. There may not be a user fee, but taxs paid for them.
  20. It's called "royalties" dickweed. The oils on state land. Or would you just give it away?
  21. I love the way you use "united" like it was by mutual consent, complete with a splendid signing ceremony. The evil US is gone! Now the diplomats can do their work! Guess you think if you put a snake and a frog together they will be "united".
  22. Unbelievable paranoia. You need to read your post name more often. Why would they ever lose? To throw sleuths such as yourself off the trail?
  23. "But for some conditions, such as hernia and high blood pressure, women reported average increases of about one pain-scale point over men suffering the same ailment." High blood pressure is painful?
  24. It really is pathetic around here. Pats lose " see I told you they suck! Can't cheat no more!" Pats win "See! They paid off the ref!" Worry about the Bills.
