  1. www.twobillsdrive.com works fantastic on my Blackberry. Any chance we can get a logo/app with a kick butt Bills logo that I can use to shortcut my way there when I need my daily fix while in a boring meeting or something? The kind of app logo you see on all of the iPhone commercials....

    Just curious.

    Go Bills.

You sir.... are a genius. I would vote for you if you ran for office

  2. ...what if the reason the team "didn't prep" against the 3-4 is because Jauron doesn't want the Patriots* to get any free looks in anticipation of the week 1 match-up?

I mean, I really don't want to give him that much credit, but a guy has to wonder if he's got something besides unflavored oatmeal on his mind.

Hmmm. I suppose it's possible. I'd like to think that a Yale guy- a smart guy like that, actually has the wits and gumption to carry out that plan. It's not as if the O line wouldn't be getting any practice either- the O just would not be focused on attacking the 3-4. With that being said, there are still no excuses for the INTs and the sacks. . . .

HOWEVER, I think I read earlier on the board that the Pats will primarily be using the 4-3 this year. Can anyone shed light on that?

  3. I'm worried about TO's toe. Our offense is going to rely heavily on him, especially during the first part of the season- until guys like Hardy and Stevie J can get up to speed.

Does anyone else share my concern, or, am I being all Nervous Nancy for no reason.

On a seperate note, I'm looking forward to watching the Vikings out-of-shape old man of a QB self destruct tonight. Brett, I'm rooting for you to fail, and that is totally unlike me, so thank you for making me feel like a d-bag.

  4. I was singing along the Bills version of "Shout" with Green Day on Wednesday in Orlando. My friend was looking at me like I was nuts. I converted her to a Bills fan last year but she hasn't been to a game so she didn't understand.

On a side note, Green Day is such a great live band. I never even liked them till I saw them at VoodooFest the year before Katrina. What they do for their fans, bringing kids up and letting them play or sing in front of their crowds is just so cool. They give them an experience that they are very unlikely to ever have again. Though the kid who played guitar during Jesus of Suburbia here in Orlando might have a shot. I know for a fact that he has some industry connections on the engineering side of things but I digress...

You are 100% correct. Greenday was SOOOOO great to see live and they treat their fans very well. Even after all of these years, it really seems like they love what they are doing, and truly appreciate their fans.

On a funny note... they brought this kid (maybe 8 years old) up on the stage between two of their songs. As Billy Joe was talking to him he noticed that his parents had put ear plugs in- so Billy laughs and says, "KID.... Get these out of your F****n ears" and throws them into the crowd.

This was probably the best concert that I've ever been to.

  5. I was at a Greenday concert in Houston last night. It was a GREAT show. They were on for over 2 1/2 hours and played a great selection of old and new. About an hour and a half into the concert, they started playing partial covers from other artists: Ozzy, Van Halen, Tom Petty- just to name a few. One of the songs they played for a few minutes was Shout. It was awesome. For 2 minutes I felt like I was back at a RWS, and that our Bills had just scored the game winning TD.

I've met a few Bills fans since I moved down here, so I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who was singing "lets go Buffalo" during that part of the song last night!

    Go Bills, stay HEALTHY tonight!

  6. Not the worst idea but not likely. And as far as Trump goes I highly doubt it. Trump is a business man. He tries to make money with his investments. He could make more money investing a billion dollars in something else.

Thats true. Howevever, he could still make a lot of money (and get a lot of national attention) by purchasing an NFL team. Like I said earlier, imagine if he championed a Bills TV reality show. Also, you know that Trump would be on camera several times during each game- he and his hair would love that.... And if they ever made the superbowl, forget it! The national exposure would be insane.

Whoever buys them, lets just hope they have the BUFFALO Bills long term interests in mind!

  7. Ha! The Donald as owner would be awesome. Kelsey...... You're fired!

Ha- I think you could probably include Jauron, Schonert and Fewell to that list too. . . .

I wonder if Trump does end up buying the team, if he would make a football reality show out of the season/off season. Although it might not necessarly good for on the field performance, but it would certainly make the team money. And hey, if TO can do it, the Donald definately can!

  8. No, he will not change anything at all.

Remember he is still making hand over foot because fans like us give unwavering financial support to this team. (tickets, memorabilia etc) I have spent thousands on this team over the last few years and each year after another dissapointing season I continue. I am retarded.

I disagree with you on Turk, he should be fired first. I watched the game today with my family and I am not kidding you I was able to predict the exact plays the Bills were going to run about 70% of the time. Let me state that I am an idiot and would not consider myself to have any football smarts whatsoever. Turk is predictable and apparently is not motivating any of his players.

Clean house, fire the entire coaching staff and immediately release some of the dead weight on this team to send a message.

It is true what you are saying about Turk (this week and for the past few weeks) but I'd still like to see him have more time. Even if the Bill's were not playing against great defenses weeks 1-4, His play calling was imaginative. Do you remember how good the Bill's first string offense looked against the Steelers first string offense during preseason? I seriously believe that their offensive woe's can all be traced back to their fat, overpaid O line. They disgust me. I don't know how they can call themselves professional athletes considering how they perform. They upset me even more than Fewell's inability to change up his scheme.

What a waste of a great start.

  9. I'm so empty right now. This is my first post (long time reader) and after todays abortion of a game, I felt that I needed to sign up to vent.

The question is, do any of you think that Ralphy will shake things up and fire any of the coaches? If it was me, I'd keep Turk. It's not hs fault that the O line sucks. I'd fire Fewell and Jauron too, if the Bills miss the playoffs.

I think the Bills will be lucky to win 2 more games.
