I showed up to the booth at ~4pm, and waited in line for a few minutes before giving up... They were really disorganized and were taking forever. I was unimpressed.
-
I should mention that I unfortunately will not be preparing an entry for today's rib contest... See you all soon!

Sorry for the basic questions, but I've got a group of 10 guys coming up for the Bills game. We are looking to arrive at roughly 2pm and tailgate until the game.
1. Do you have any recommendations for private lots (aside from Hammers, obviously)?
2. Is 2pm too late to arrive for this game?
3. Any general advice?
I've never organized this myself and simply want a spot around other tailgaters where we can drink drink drink.
Thanks and Go Bills!
1. Nope
2. Eh... official answer is Yes, but you'll be alright
3. Don't black out and not remember the game you're paying big $$$ to attend. Don't be a douche to opposing fans. Go see Pinto Kenny - take a bowling ball shot and watch him receive his ketchup (what time is this happening?) exclusively at Hammer's Lot. Oh, and go early into the stadium... plan to leave Hammer's at 7:30pm (don't miss kickoff).

The moon will be at 99% illumination on Thursday night. While it may not be enough to draw warmth from, its brightness may be something to consider for those with the most sensitive eyes! Especially if the weather is clear!
OP, if you are worried about the moon in your eyes, I would definitely stay away from the visitor sideline.

Where are you going in Germany?
McDonald's. Pay attention

Every WaWa and QuickCheck have these. So McDonalds is finally catching up.
Yep. And Sheetz and GetGo...... MTO baby!

Past few years I've sponsored the "First play from scrimmage" but wanted to change it up this year. I'll send the winner a ball cap of their choice ($35 value) if you guess the following:
1) Pass, run or punt/kick return
2) QB who passes or hands off
3) Player who runs the ball or catches the pass
4) Distance of the TD from line of scrimmage without going over (example: At the 5 yd line, Tyrod rolls right and passes to Clay for TD...that's a 5 yd TD Pass from Taylor to Clay)
5) No ties: whoever guesses the correct answer first in this thread wins.
(Rules subject to clarification for all youz who want to split hairs.)
My guess: Tyrod with 5yd TD pass to Charles Clay
Tyrod hand off to Reggie Bush for 52-yard TD

I am thinking about joining in on the fun - especially after browsing some recipes online here...
My biggest concern is the amount I would have to cook. Would there be ample grill space for me to use at TBDAHOT?
We only have a tiny charcoal and a tiny propane grill that we usually use.
Thanks!

I plan to park at Hammers. One General spot, arriving 1:30pm. Thanks.

I found the list of participants, and I did recognize a few TBD screen names. Is there a way to see what picks other individuals have made?
You can see what others have picked after the deadline each week.
Survivor is definitely not any fun! One bad error and you're out. I think all but ~three TBD'ers were out after ~Week One last year? Anyway, I'm in again!

In the past, Bills-related, I have had...
Li'l Donte's Inferno (picture is wHitner)
Alex Van Pelt's Li'l Doughboys
Moorman From His Own Endzone (classic picture of game versus Browns they sent to STH's a few years back)
15Yds for Givin Him the Bizness
PeeTrough SlipnSlide
U.S.S. Fuhkmore (bonus points to the poster who can recall this brief Bills reference?)

he better hope that the extra month to add weight/strength is a blessing and come back at 110%
Exactly. Worst case scenario, he needs the extra four weeks to get fully back to playing shape. Right?

Adirondacks.... Hiking a few high peaks, and some rock climbing.

That article was very poorly written.

Ever see a guy that size play a mobile style?
Nice!
Logan Thomas is about that size... I would say that mobility is not Thomas' downside.

Any updates on AW?
-
Exactly. This thread should have been closed w/other posts spun off into new thread.
Agreed! I'm 20 minutes late to the party, and I have to go page by page by page, trying to figure out where today's shenanigans started...

Would not be surprised if it is a concussion. But after he got up, he was testing out range of motion of his right shoulder.

I just DVR'd it for Channel 13.
Oh, nice! It looks like it will be on channel 13 (edit: in Rochester), thank you! http://tv.twcc.com/listings/wham-abc#13-Aug-2016

I have never been to Maggiores, but Rattle Inn has a great group! Labatt bottles, a couple food trucks outside the bar, or bring your own food in. I assume this is all still true - I attended games there 2013 and 2014.
-
Is the game going to be televised in Rochester? Trying to decide whether I will go to the game or not. Thanks!

Regarding safety -- Sal said this morning that Meeks has passed Duke Williams on the depth chart. So AW with Meeks as backup, and Graham with Blanton as backup.
In addition, Colt Anderson has been a big part of special teams. So unless they keep six safeties, Duke Williams may have a tough time making the squad.

Dray is a concern...totally one-dimensional guy. Would like for Gragg/Annen to step up (no faith in O'Leary at this point).
Yes, Mills has been the 1st string RT all of camp.
Rex praised Duke during OTAs and he hasn't done anything to lower his stock in camp.
Thanks for the replies! What is Dray's deal? One-dimensional how?
I think it would have been cool if Dray went to medical school.
Nice. I had a friend in grad school named Andrea, who was going for her PhD. She preemptively got the vanity license plate "DR DREA", which I thought was pretty clever. Well, a couple years after I graduated, I heard she never made it for her PhD

In the pick'em.... It's crazy how consistently bad I am..... sitting at the bottom of the leaderboard while going 6-10 in Week 1 and 4-12 in Week 2. It's been this bad every year. At least I'm still alive in the survival, for once.
