  1. You know as a Bill fan I think "hey if that guy can get and stay healthy" "and that guy got a little experience so he should be better now" "and player x put on some weight so he'll be better" and "they'll know the system now" "and what are the odds of getting 15+ players injured for the 3rd straight year"

or to sum it up " lets see Dareus our first round pick will make our DL better and a better DL will make our LBs better and better LBs will make our DBs better so we will have a better defense and that will give our offense more chances which will tire out the opposing defense which will make Spiller more effective which will open things up for Fitzy which will bring Evans back to form which will open things up for Johnson which will clear things out for Chandler which will make the offense explosive and run up the score which will let the DLine pin back it's ears which will make Kyle Williams a super star which will help Dareus."

Strangely enough I don't make these logic chains for the Jags or Panthers or the Bengals

    excellent

  2. Alot of Bills fans in this area down here, I see bumper stickers and license plate frames all the time, not to mention the number of people that approach me when they see my Bills hat or shirts. I was a member of the Virginia Beach Bills Backers for quite some time, but for a variety of reasons I have separated myself from that club.

I'll be meeting Arthur Moats tomorrow in Chesapeake at Players Sports NUTS - 3115 Western Branch Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23321 - 4pm to 6pm...

I'll try to recruit as many as I can with his help! Please spread the word and email me at billsofchesapeake@hotmail.com to get more of the scoop!

  3. Living in Hawaii in 2006 (I think) I went to the Pro-Bowl by myself. We had Schobel and Moorman playing, and some Jills were there. It was the game where Moorman had a fake punt and Sean Taylor absolutely leveled him. He got up right away though and gave Taylor props for the hit. After the game I'm walking out of the stadium and I see a couple with Moorman jerseys. Anxious to meet/see any Bills fans there, and I went up to them and said go Bills etc, and mentioned the shot that Brian took. The man abruptly said to me defensively, "Yeah, well did you see him get right back up?!" Then the lady explained that they were his parents - really cool people, down to earth and asked me a lot of questions etc etc. I gave them a card and they said they would send me some goodies...still waiting :)

I've met Bruce Smith a few times - a golf course, a political rally, and a bar. He was nice enough but clearly wasn't intested in talking to anyone outside his group for more than a hello.

  4.

We are Bills fans. We are supposed to support the team in whatever decision they make. I know I am a very optimistic person by nature, but when the Bills make a decision (especially this new regime that have not wronged us yet, that we know of) I support it.

While I generally agree about negativity, what I copied above just isn't true. My "unconditional love/support" is to the city and team - not to the personel. If we buy the tickets, jerseys, and beers - we can say whatever we want.

That being said, it would be nice if we conducted ourselves a bit better - if other teams' fans check out TBD from time to time, they must think the fans are as bad as the team.

  5. You need to explain that one. The stats, the quickness, cutting ability, route running, and blitz pickup all point to Jackson. I'm not saying Lynch was bad or even too far behind but as far as who was better, it was not that close in my opinion.

Time will tell - my hunch is with a legit QB, OL, and coaching staff - Lynch will be a top 10-12 RB in the NFL. Jackson very well may be better today ON THE BILLS, because he's a different type of runner. But IMO, Lynch is the better RB for a traditional contender. Take out the shaft he got in 2009 and his stats are better than Freddie - not to mention 6 years younger and WAY tougher. Someone posted earlier they break tackles the same - yeah right! Oh well, no more energy to debate things that don't matter - GO BILLS and GO FREDDIE

  6. Well it looks like 80% of my posts were incorrect....check that, they were not in alignment with OBD.... my apologies to all those I called crazy re showcasing etc. I was wrong. I can't believe we didn't get a player and a pick though.

So add #23 to the jerseys in my closet who are gone. Looks like I'm going with talleys jersey this Sunday.

I really wanted a lynch spiller backfield for the next 5 years...oh well... let's go freddie!

Singing off depressed and hopefully that they know what they're doing...

  7. A just look at Jacksons stats last year. 4th all time yards leader(I may be wrong). he is definitely a player i want on my team.

He had a great year no doubt - but 1,000+ of his all purpose yards were kick returns. Not in his future anymore. He also had 212 yards rushing in the last game of the season against the Colts JV team on 33 carries because the team was committed to helping him get his 1000 rushing yards. And I support that, I'm just sayin. If it's Spiller and Lynch you have more of a contrast (tough back and elusive back) and more of a future since they are so young!.

  8. I bought 15 tix earlier this year for the JAX game, and I look forward to going "home" to Rochester and having a great tailgate and limo ride with old HS friends. Nice escape from work/kids/mortgage for a weekend.

Interesting - the Bills sent me a nice Bills hat and a nice coffee travel mug for buying those tickets. Why don't they save that money and buy some talent?

My 2 cents on the game today -- gotta love Fitz' effort out there, it looked like he was the only one that cared.

  9. Well I don't know if you rode your dinosaur to the test in the day but my teacher said I got the highest score in the whole school. 900 out of 1000 is like 90 out of 100 which is an A which is the highest score. I am also pretty smart in IQ that way even better because I have a 93 out of 100.

Incorrect, but I'm assuming you know that by now. If you took it 5+ years ago (or something like that) the max was 1600. 900 isn't terrible (you need a 700 to play D1 sports), but certainly not even close to a score worth bragging about. If it was the highest in your school, then that's just sad. Now the max is 2400.

That 900 score didn't do much for your job prospects either huh.

  10. You have no clue! He doesn't hold a candle to Fred Jackson, and Spiller is gaining on Lynch after a couple of games. The only time that he gains any yards, are when he has a hole, you could drive a truck through. He waddles back and forth, even when he's in the open field and he doesn't need to fake anyone out. Fred Jackson beat him out fair and square as a D-3 player and Marshawn a 1st round pick out of a Major D-1 School. Marshawn had every opportunity to be the man, and obviously never lived up to his billing. Hopefully you were just kidding when you made that statement.

Never lived up to his billing? Doesn't hold a candle to Fred Jackson? Fred beat him out fair and square? It's hard to take posts like this seriously. I'll listen to the debate, but this is ridiculous.

The fact is Lynch is a FA after this season and does not love living in Buffalo. Considering the needs of the team, the Bills cannot afford to resign Lynch. I say trade him to a good team if they can, get a 4th rd pick, thank him for his efforts and move on. Lynch is a solid RB and fun to watch in "beast mode". Since we are playing for the 1st pick in the draft, I say it worth trading him.

2012 his contract is donw. We can afford to resign him.. 4th round pick? Glad you're not the GM. We're not playing for the 1st pick - that's crazy.

Thus of all your statements, you were 1 for 5 with your accuracy - worse than Trent.

  11. So we have Bills fans who don't care and now at least one Bills fan who is in denial. Clearly, the supporters of the Buffalo Bills are as bad as the Buffalo Bills themselves.

    Sad!

But I'm glad the SU Orangemen are winning!

Take it easy. Why does tsw take such personal shots at people... I'm not saying we r going to the sb...I'm saying that there's only one paragraph from one article from the nyt of all sources.... its so hard to imagine the nyg doing this, id like to get a more solid source to say its true. Can't find it. It goes beyond all that is class-less, and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt until I get real proof. Go orange.

  12. THANK YOU. I mean that. Thank you for being one of the first people to call me dumb and not misspell "you're". Honestly, I've been called dumb, stupid, an idiot, an ass, etc, etc, etc so I'm pretty numb to it, but I swear, 99% of those people say "Your Dumb" which just infuriates me with the irony of the statement.

    So, thanks.

Your so right. Their always spreading they're BS around and making crazy statements about you're posts. Go Buffalo - I wish I could be their to see them win - I'm sure your feeling the same way.
