If we win out, better for KC to win division (and thus win tonight). But since we aren't winning out, we root for Denver tonight and for KC to lose more games in December. My two cents.

Ravens or Chargers? Chargers have way harder schedule, so I'm thinking even though they beat us in a tiebreaker, we root for SD.
Is there someone I can follow who breaks down who I should be rooting for every Sunday? I know this may be a waste of energy with NE/Den/GB left to go after we hopefully beat the Browns, but this playoff scenario could get confusing soon.

While this makes me feel a little bit better about that seemingly over-used play, I'd like to give Bryce more opportunities to hit those holes.

Cleaning out my DVR and decided to watch the 30 min replay from Directv... thoughts:
1. Wow CJ is good
2. Marcel played like a Pro Bowler. Man I hope he stays in shape this summer
3. Our linebackers are horrible
4. Fitz telegraphed 80% of his passes, and was horribly inaccurate
5. I shoulda cut Chan more slack on his playcalling...can't really trust Fitz and he played his hand the best he could
6. Forgot all about the great play Stevie made after Fitz' INT - tracked guy down and stripped him, recovered ball. Love him.
7. Mario will/can manhandle OL's with good wrist and no double team
8. Levitre will be hugely missed
9. Donald Jones is a good blocker and looked good. Shame that didn't work out.
10. I think we're 2 years away from playoffs - coaching, QB, and new LBs will make a short term difference.

Finds helmet (or a new one), and rattles off 6 straight TD drives.
Before the lost helmet their drives were punt, (end half), fumble, FG Miss, fumble, FG miss, punt, punt.
Part of their cheating enterprise (backed by ex players) was the use of a doctored helmet radio (talking to Brady after the official radio cuts off at 15 secs on the play clock).
Did they turn to old tricks when the going got tough in Buffalo? All of the sudden they made every correct offensive playcall?
Not trying to be a conspiracy theorist, but just thought it would open up interesting conversation.

No doubt he looked great against the Steelers. I just can't forget MNF against the Pats a couple years back, and how bad rookie WR's beat him last year. Hopefully it isn't just a phase of good pre-season play, and he keeps it going!

Leodis fumbles a punt return on our own 30 yard line when we're down by 3 with 1:15 to play. Sanchez kneels on it for the 17-14 win.
I throw a fit and my wife and kids avoid me for 2 hours.

I think #1 is most important. Can Fitz throw it down the field this season?? Outside of the occassional JP/Evans bombs, we haven't been able to do that since Bledsoe.

Consistent OL protection, better field position (from D), technique improvement/coaching, playing with lead vs from behind will lead to less risky throws.

1. Moats had a near sack on Gresham's TD -- need him in there more, good penetration, might be good to mix him and Merriman up...
2. What was Florence doing calling for the ball during Scott's INT TD??
3. Spiller with limited touches, danced less and ran forward more... great to see...
4. Moorman is still great.
5. (obvious) 3rd and short play calling was a little out of hand and overly confident.
6. 2nd-ary defense is better than the stats say -- raiders and bengals have great rookie WRs that made great plays - more worried about run D...
7. Officiating could very easily have cost us the game
8. I'm going to Eagles game and am worried about stopping Vick, realizing Dalton wasn't contained that well.

How about a scenario of beating OAK and losing to NE and still making playoffs? I'm sure its already been posted so I apologize in advance...
