  1. I am not sure why radio talk show hosts, analysts, and fans have such a hearing problem. Beane and McDermott have stated repeatedly that they want to bring guys in here that have the DNA they want to build this team with. The culture they want to build is clear. Neither Mayfield nor Rosen FIT this culture. It was NEVER going to be Mayfield or Rosen. Darnold, yes, but he was gone. It was ONLY going to be Allen/Darnold or Darnold/Alllen.  Geez..... Open your ears ppl....

  2. Excellent news...I'm always a fan of the "great, now we're only down 38-6" dance or that "we're about to be 0-4 but I dont give a fck" dance.

Yes! I was also a great fan the Neon Deion's "The Bills are kicking our butts like 44 - 0" but I pick off Kelly pass and strutt my stuff down the sideline! This game is about me, me, me, me!!! 11/22/1992 Atlanta vs. Buffalo.......

  3. Bench Peters?

During our long protracted debate over Peters hold out, a few of us (me included) said that Peters would suffer for missing OTA's and training camp. Others (who coincidentally were arguing on Peters behalf, predicting Armageddon for Edwards if anyone but Peters played LT) said that Peters was so crazy good that he didn't need camp. Being "the best player on the team" meant that he can just walk ont the field and be better than what the Bills had.

Now two games in and we are seeing that Peters is more of a liability to the Bills than an asset. Twice in two weeks, "our best player" has been beaten badly enough that the rusher caused Trent Edwards to fumble. Wasn't this the kind of stuff that wasn't supposed to happen with Peters at LT? Fortunately the Bills are 3-0 so we all just laugh it off, but I wonder if we were 1-2, and both games turned on those Peters-induced turnovers, how would we be feeling about "the best player on the team?"

I don't know if this had been addressed or not and I was not at the game, but did the Bills announce the Offensive Starting Lineup or not and, if so, what was the crowd reaction to Peters??

  4. Marshawn, Marshawn, Marshawn. Beast Mode was the only reason Edwards was even able to come back in the 4th. Lynch ran hard for 4 quarters. He broke countless tackles including a 4th and 2 that was stuffed in the backfield before he broke loose. Lynch was the game's MVP. Don't lose sight of that, Bills fans.

If all you heard was Edwards, Edwards, Edwards then you need to get your "hearers" checked or you read 1 paragraph of 1 article. I have read about 20 articles and I hear plenty of praise for every player whose contribution was significant. Fortunately, Edwards is not a Me, Me, Me type guy! Go Bills! Great team victory!

  5. I've made the same comparison myself, TE has the same quick flick release as Marino, and we all know how well Dan Marino could chunk the ball down field. Its almost like Kelly and Marino would have a throwing contest sometimes. :wallbash:

If you believe Vic Ketchman, who I respect from his years writing for Pro Football Weekly and Jaguars.com, "Edwards had a Peyton Manning look about him." I think I can handle that comparison too..........
