Hahahahah that’s hilarious, Pats just fumbled at the 1
-
Maybe they should have been checking Rodgers for a concussion.
-
Exact same thing that happened to Fields last week. Except the game was out of hand and the Jets were more than happy to get him out of there.
-
If he knew what day it was, he might not have thrown it.

EVERYONE saw Maye grab his head after being hauled down. No one did a ***** thing about it. His next two passes are an overthrow and a pick. Betting he doesn’t come out for the second half. Disgraceful stuff from the Shield.

Best part was Ja’Marr jogging after the returner. Cincy is done for the year.

Pats are so undisciplined. I love it.
-
I think it’s been weak. I think people just aren’t pretending anymore that these teams are any good.
-
I’m fine if they wait until they play us to start calling it.

The AFC East is going to be over before Thanksgiving.

This. The league wants returns because they're exciting. They don't want concussions or paralyses. So this is the happy medium. It's why they changed the rules again after last year when everyone kicked it out of the EZ. If there are no returns, then why have kickoffs at all? I'm fine with the way it is now.

9/18/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Dolphins Post Game Thread TNF
BRH replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
With a win in Miami later this season, the all-time rivalry record (including playoffs) will stand at 62-62-1. Those of us who lived through the '70s have been rewarded handsomely since then. -

Missed the GDT tonight and that was probably a good thing - I was in DC for work and my son, who lives here, and I went to the Light Horse Inn in Alexandria to watch. Nice place with WNY food and Labatts. Good to watch with my people. Never really thought we were in trouble although that was certainly the kind of game we used to lose. -
Love seeing the Texans lose. So far this has been a great couple of weeks.

Never heard of that rule. It doesn’t make sense, so I guess it must be a rule.

Does Bowles know how many timeouts they have?

What Went Thru Your Mind When You Saw Allen Running Off the Field?
BRH replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
I liken him to Tim McCarver, who was *great* when he first started as an analyst in the early ‘80s but became a caricature of himself fairly quickly. Part of the problem for Romo is that his appeal lay in how he would diagnose formations and communicate plays to the audience before they even happened. When the league told him to knock it off, he lost the one thing that separated him from Collinsworth. -
TBH I was telling myself “at least he’s running so it’s not anything to do with his legs, and it would hurt too much to run like that with a separated shoulder/dislocated elbow, and if he had a concussion he probably wouldn’t be running in a straight line, and, and….oh please let him be okay” I had to go through several mental gymnastics to convince myself everything would be fine, partly thanks to Romo’s hysterics.

Honestly, did anyone not play at least reasonably well? (Here come the Ray Davis and Dawson Knox haters. Okay, okay… but it’s not like they fumbled or contributed to a pick (hello Travis) or got Josh blown up or anything.) OL did a good job blocking a great front four and got Jimbo a lot of yards. TEs blocked well and all had catches. Keon had a nice grab, so did Palmer and Shakir, Moore had the TD run. DL created havoc. Linebackers and safeties consistently stuck guys short of the sticks. Corners must have done okay because Garrett Wilson was practically invisible and no one else came close to hurting us. ST was great - Prater was money; Johnson punted well when he had to, which wasn’t often; coverage was great all around Solid team win.
-
I’m not sure I’d call it that. A inferiority complex is when your team is actually good but nobody gives them credit. They’re consistently one of the most overrated teams every year, along with Dallas. At some point they need to be treated by the national media as what they are: a franchise that hasn’t won a playoff game in a QUARTER CENTURY. On a related note, I’m 56 and grew up in WNY, and I know quite a few people around my age who became Dolphins fans as kids because they were good, despite having a team in their own backyard. I find their continued suffering to be especially delicious.

Burrow's Turf Toe and torn ligaments; now being reported out three MONTHS
BRH replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Ravens will lose a stupid game or two somewhere that no one saw coming, like to the Raiders and Browns last year. And we have the H2H against them. Not worried.
