  1. I have become a big fan of of Locked on Bills with Joe Marino. He really helps to cut through “fan noise” about what is happening with the Bills.
  2. This^^^^ I hope he has an injury free and clean season. Hard to know because the injuries he has suffered are not necessarily pointing to age nabbing him. However, the NFL tends to wear out bodies. Beane has all but said shopping will be very limited. Hopefully the Bills are finding a path to getting a deal done with Benford.
  3. I am a mutt, no Irish that I know of but 1/4 Scottish (supposedly). Who knows how much of anything any of us is? People have fooled around since the dawn of time. For all I know maybe there was some green cheating in my lineage somewhere.
  4. This is an interesting thought because the Bills under Beane have not been prone to tag players. You are correct that’s Benford might possibly become an exception to this general trend.
  5. I love Neil Young because he is an everyman philosopher…. Old man lyrics ring so true now that I meet, or even exceed, the threshold of “old man.”
  6. I don’t see a holdout on the radar. Maybe he plays out his rookie deal and hits the open market. However, he has now had injuries. He will get a handsome guaranteed payment from the Bills. If I am him I take money in the bank vs the risk of no guarantee if I am seriously injured.
  7. The Bills still eat the cap impact even though the players do not get paid.
  8. “I am worried about my relationship with my wife due to the fact that I offed him,” he allegedly responded. You think?
  9. This^^^ Bills are just not going to put more money there. There is a much greater need at CB, especially since they don’t have Benford under extension yet.
  10. It looks more and more like the Bills will use their first three picks to land a mix (2 at one of the positions and 1 at the other) of DL & CB’s. Yes, there is always the BPA statement but it’s odd how it always works out that the BPA also fills an area of need.
  11. This looks to be an excellent signing.
  12. We know the real story is that you were subject to a mafia beating and they busted your neck. Have you paid off the “loans” yet?
  13. Meh .. this type of cap manuevering is just becoming normal in the offseason. The real questions will be answered down the road because eventually the changes typically hit once the player leaves or is cut.
  14. This^^^ the bills like this tweener role. He is supposed to be good at setting the edge which was a Lawson role. He may also allow the Bills to run more stunts.
  15. I guess they have to do it but I do not like void years. It’s a gimmick that might eventually put the team in cap jail.
  16. Yes, plus it helps cap to get younger players into the rotation that are on rookie deals.
  17. Beane is really setting up the roster well to go into the draft without glaring needs. The only huge gaps are: CB#2 WR who can be downfield speed threat QB#1 ….. (Ten years down the road ) It’s always easy to be excited this time of year but … I am ….
  18. I remember early days thinking that if you caught COVID it was a death sentence. I worked at the time in an “essential” business so I pretty much was out among people every day. Crazy times and also sad because of lives lost and long term damaging health conditions for some.
  19. I highly doubt Beane sits still with all of those picks available. He probably does not have roster space for 10 picks. I think he looks to move up in round 1 and round 2 with the targets being defensive line and CB. I know there are many here wanting an impact WR high in the draft but I just do not think the Bills will go that direction.
  20. This situation is representative of why veteran leader leadership in the locker room is important.
  21. Poona Ford also an example of another player who has seen success elsewhere. There has to be some measure of failure on the part of coaching and scheme in the mix of issues with the Bills D line. Think about change once Kromer arrived to coach o-line.
  22. Fixed to better represent reality of your responsibilities…..
  23. It’s crazy to think 5 years have passed.
  24. Good for them - this one is a bit of an ouch for teh Bills as he was a popular player and productive. However, I don’t like the money and term of his deal. The Bills need to continue to push for flexibility.
  25. Until reading this I had never had simultaneous thoughts of romance, porn and the mafia. You have helped me achieve this. Thank you.
