You forget that the Bills will have opportunity to do his deal if they want. Also he will probably provide the Bills with a third or fourth round compensatory pick if he leaves.

I agree with the comments on safety - the Bills are set there. Corner and DL are screaming needs and I think the 1st and two second round picks are used on some combo of these positions. Probably 2 DL and 1 CB.

The message all point to the fact that Cook has not been willing to do a fair but team friendly deal. Every extension announced so far has had these elements. Additionally Cooke took his view public. Sorry but you just do not overpay RB’s in today’s NFL. Cook is not stout enough in pass blocking to play all three downs. The Bills clearly know this. Some team out there will probably overpay him. This is Cook’s last season as a Bill.

It’s evident the Bills are not going to overpay for a 45% of the time player - he wants the same money 85% of the time players are getting. Cook has shown excellence on 1st and 2nd down. Not so much on 3rd down.

You’re correct, Wisconsin looks like a state in need of therapy. Wow…. However, having lived in several places there are clearly differing lives of acceptance around drinking and drinking culture. Here in East Tn, while it is changing slowly, people are generally opposed to also hold consumption and certainly not accepting of heavy drinking.
